I’ve got loaded in 45 min empty cans lady in the office was pretty polite

Drivers Come to this place on your appointment time, they will not take you early. The other issue I had was The check in lady name Angie she is so imprudent! And She was constantly coughing into her hands and with the same hands she was touching the BOL’s and giving it back to the drivers. I recommend not to come to this place. By the time you get empty the whole day is gone by you’re out of hours.

Even if you make your appointment your looking at minimum 2.5 hours and about 35 minutes to get your bills. The last three loads my boss has put me on here have been missed appointments. Not my fault but I still am the one to endure the workin. Checked in at 3pm it’s 7:30 pm and I’m waiting on my bills. The people are friendly and there is plenty of parking. But absolutely no drive conveniences.

This review is for a live load.Come at you appt time, they do not load early. I arrived at 9:50am, my appt was at 01:30pm. I got a door at 1:20pm, live load took 1hr20min. BOL was ready at 2:50pm. RR is next to the office. If you come early, you can park and wait. Good luck.

Place use to be awesome and take you earlier than appt time. Only 2 trucks getting live unload rn with 10 doors open and still gotta wait 5hrs to appt time. Latino looking lady up front seems to be having a bad morning...

Always easy in and out for p/u. Plenty of room to park, with some overnight spaces in back. Check in at front office (1st drive). Load on side of bldg. Listen out they just yell at you when they are finished, then drive back to front for paperwork.

Pretty cool. Your employees nearly cause an accident with a semi. The one in a grey hatchback.Another white pickup and small black SUV. They need to go 50mph weaving in between semis? At 4:15 pm.No wonder drivers need safety vests, your own people will kill them.

Checked in @ 8:00. Got unloaded @ 8:15. Got the paper work @ 9:16. Front office is way too slow!!! They dont care that the drivers ELD is ticking. Unloading associate was very nice and friendly. A lot of space to park and easy docks.

Showed up at 10am, checked in, hoping they would work me in. My apt was set at 2pm. They gave me a door around 3:15pm. Loading took less then an hour. But the office is too slow, waiting for paperwork 30+ minutes after being loaded. And they don’t even move in there, they laugh, chat and eat food.Wtf. Make sure you have plenty of time to waste when come here.

I was a former driver of this company, and I dont wanna offend anyone, or say anything about whether theyre good or bad. But if you asked me will I recommend to you this company? I would say 100% NO. But its up to you. Good luck.

I would like to thank the Stryder team for helping me in my time of need. I was broke down on the five fwy the other day and one of you’re awesome team members pulled over and helped me out. I know these guys have more to do than help someone they don’t even know, but the driver said no worries and soon I was on my way. I’ve since changed my outlook on truck drivers. Thank you Stryder for you’re awesome team.

Update: great to see you guys considered my point of view. It will be awesome hauling your loads again when everything is back like it was.I have been hauling nestle water through Stryder and damco for years. I had an average of 4-5 trucks pick up a load everyday. These were great loads until these guys from Canada made changes to the warehouse by getting rid of employees. The management has no idea how much people like us owner operators and 3rd company party’s are suffering. It’s taking 8-10 hours to load or unload it’s taking an average of 4-5 hours just to get an assigned door. I loved going to this place they used to load in 15-30 mins in and out. But now unfortunately, i quit picking up loads from this warehouse until their long delays of unloading loading has been solved. Great place great people but terrible experience for me now. 1 star.

Its too bad this company doesnt pay overtime. They start out at 18.50 an hour. The runs are pretty decent and the trucks are good ones too. I Just couldnt cope with the no overtime thing.

Dont even bother applying here. Youll regret work here. Friendly office staff in Kent and appears like a normal trucking company, but not a good outfit to work. Completely unorganized and dysfunctional as everything is handled out of country by employees in Canada.They dont contribute towards medical for your family. They have okay coverage for a single guy, but forget working here if you are married or have kids. To add your wife and kids to the plan it is over $1,000 per month! They cover zero of your family premiums!No vision coverage at all.There is no retirement plan! No 401k, no pension. Nothing!They only pay $20 per hour. This is a reason why their ads dont state the rate of pay! Most work is trip runs - flat rate per day.Wont pay Overtime if you work a combo of trip routes and hourly work in the same week! If ya run 3 shifts trip routes and you are at 40 hours, then if you work the rest of the week doing hourly work it is NOT paid at Overtime. They pay those days straight time even though you have already worked 40 hours doing trips. This is illegal. Reporting to LNI.They are operating on Conditional Status.They had to pay all drivers 3 years back wages for getting caught by LNI for not paying Overtime! This is on the department and Labor and Industries site as a wage violation. Look it up and see for yourself.Very high driver turnover.

I told the manager I was on my way, I drove 63 miles one-way. I get there and hes not there. I sat for 1.5 hrs waiting and they only say, we dont know where he went. I figure most managers carry cell phones. Im not surprised they need 5 drivers. I finally left, noone even called me.

I have started to work with these guys and it has been a real upbeet place the staff are all real nice people to work with even when iv been in there and things get a little hecktic as dose with any trucking company they still have a real friendly atmosphere, So far the management that iv worked with are all real upbeet and glad to see you, as with driving so far they have well kept equipment and are on top of things, after driving for 17 years this is one of the better companies that i have had to deal with. yes dispatch is in canada with can be a little difficult at times but for the most part as a driver with any company do your job as a adult professional and thats all thats asked.

Drivers are reckless and dangerous, I have seen numerous drivers endangering other motorists. Seems to be company policy/culture.*Update - if it were a one off or infrequent occurrence that would indicate an issue with specific drivers. The sheer number of times I have seen your trucks driving dangerously indicates a systemic problem and based on your reviews that seems more likely. Just because you reply it does not mean that your a responsible company.

I started with stryder back in october as part of a new Longview,Wa. Division. There are currently 4 of us working out of the nippon paper plant. In Longview. The work and the loads are simple. Easy pick ups and the people are great to work with. I like the way i get my loads always on the day before.so i know what and where im going. The equipment is new 2019 peterbilt day cabs. Dispatch left it up to me what days to work. I work monday thru friday with weekends off. They understand family is important and always accomadate my needs. John and Heather in the kent office always take the time if i need help. They are super nice and good people. The pay is a little light for the industry but hey im home every night and i get weekends off. Im happy with my position in longview and i truly appreciate John and Heather in Kent for making me feel welcome.

I got one of their drivers in rush hour traffic on my dash cam yesterday who was wielding his truck like a weapon, in and out of traffic, including the HOV lane. Crossing solid lines and swerving in front of vehicles doing highway speed while hes crawling.

Worst service ever. My appointment was at 0700 to deliver load, I checked in at 0650 and the lady in the front desk took down my number and said wait around the back and we will call you with the available door. So 0800 after an hour I’m still waiting for their phone call, so I walk all the way around to the front office and asked her what’s going on when will I get a door? And she looked at me like and asked me which door are you in ?? And what are you here for what’s your reference number?? I’m like seriously?? You took all my information. And she said ohh let me ask. And comes back an said you supposed to be In door 11. I waited 2 hours here for this, when this whole process could have been done within 40 minuets.

Had a load to drop... Was in and empty quickly...friendly staff and efficient.

Well, unlike other opinions they gave me a door when I arrived, it is worth mentioning that my appointment was at 7 am and I showed up at 6; 45. In my case I was lucky because at 9 am they gave me out. So my opinion is good. I speak the minimum English and only that made it a bit difficult for me since the recipient did not collaborate with me but still I rate them as good.Greetings to all.
