Although the place doesnt look very good from the outside nor did the food presentation look very good however, the food was excellent best french fries Ive had in a long time and the fish taco was so tasty. Also enjoyed the views from the deck, good beer selection, service was very quick, and bathroom was clean.
Don’t let the outside scare you…we loved this place! Once you see the open air marsh side deck with an amazing view you’ll be glad you came in. Service great, food was delicious…we had the shrimp and redfish tacos which we loved. Met the owner…what an interesting guy. Will definitely be back when visiting from north Georgia.
Our go to for the absolute best shrimp and red fish tacos! Fresh made to order fried in the most flavorful light batter. My mouth is watering just thinking of them. Did I mention the creamy garlic sauce?! Delicious 😋Tuesday’s are $2 taco nights so you will find us there! (Yep, every Tuesday) The crab cake taco was pretty yummy also. Don’t forget to get the coleslaw and fries on the side!PS I heard their burgers and wontons are great also but I haven’t been able to pass on the fried shrimp 🤷♀️
A Beaufort iconic place to visit with a wonderful view. Dont like lots of people, go midday when it is slow. Nice choice of drinks and an okay small menu. Dinner specials are a steal.
This hidden gem is an incredible find!!! First of all, we fell in love with Beaufort and when we asked the locals where to go for a drink, all of them said Filling Station. We love dive bars and this didn’t disappoint. The VIEWS are amazing! (See picture I took).We walked in yo the unassuming door and found a busy, clean bar with attentive bartenders, great pub food menu and a deck to die for! Live music was going on and we stayed for way longer than we planned! Haha.Met the owner and he was welcoming, gracious and attentive at all times.We will be back!!! And yes, we will tell all our friends about this killer joint! Well done Filling Station!
I had a last minute going away get together for a coworker and was not disappointed at all!! It wasnt a HUGE party, just 7 of us, but Austin was so attentive and helpful! I personally got the shrimp po boy, which was amazing, and others got burgers and loved them too! And the view from the back deck was absolutely beautiful. I will be back for sure!!
This is a place where you can’t judge a book by its cover. The view on the back deck is the best in Beaufort ! They have the best bartenders & friendliest staff. We love this local “5star dive bar” and will keep coming back.
Went to lunch with friends looks like a dirty dive with two outhouses in the front you go in bar is kind of dark and gloomy inside then you go outback to a patio covered with a beautiful view of the marsh and it’s very peaceful and nice. The food is ok the French fries are nothing special look like skinny fries the hamburger was huge so big they slid off the bread . You have to go to the window outside to order and pick up your food. I read the wonderful reviews and thought we would try it we probably won’t return. I did not see anyone come out and clean the tables as people left or clean them before new customers sit down.
Great experience and have great atmosphere. The bloody Marys are one of the best I have ever had. The owner came to are table and asked how everything was. Cant wait to go back and have a meal here.

Dive bar, filled with smoke. Seafood may have been good but Im sure that was a frozen burger that was expensive that I didnt eat. View was the best thing.
Front looks forsaken but they have a beautiful rear deck and a guy was setting up for a live performance later in the day. I think they only had one cook in the kitchen so that probably explains why we waited for 50 minutes before our food came out. Prices were a bit high but mixed drinks and food were great!
Never stepped foot out of the car. The front of the building was pretty scary. Not a place I would want to go by myself. Not a warm and fuzzy feeling about the entrance.Definitely not a problem place I would want to celebrate with a party of 13 friends and family.
It was a hopping place. Live music on the patio which overlooked the marina. It was $5 burger night. The burgers were good and the beer was cold. Service was good and friendly.

It certainly looks live a dive, however, the food was delish. The fresh oysters and shrimp were incredible. Their bread with my hot dog was yummy also. Add in the fabulous view and humble and attentive staff and you know I’ll be back.
Nice local spot. Dockside was an hour wait so we went here. Looks like the same view here and no wait. Food and drinks were good.
The 1st time my husband visited alone, because I was in the hospital and he was hoping for a quick bite to eat. I cannot express how kind and welcoming they were to him when they noticed the hospital band on his wrist. Even though they were closed for cleaning, they refused to let him leave, they fed him and made sure he was okay. A week later, we returned together and they treated us like old friends. The food was fantastic, the kindness and friendships made are the lifetime kind and we saw the same wonderful treatment with everyone that was there. If you havent stopped in, youre missing out on something special. Highly, highly recommended! Jerry and Kathy~

We visited the filling station last week and the food was fantastic. Only complaint would be the long wait (approx 45 minutes) to get our food, as well as the over abundance of mosquitos while we were eating. Luckily, the food was so good it made up for the somewhat subpar restaurant experience.
Highly recommend this place, not just for the food, but the view as well.
Finally was able to get in. Great views, service was good and drinks cold. But just to hot to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Its the best dive bar and always have amazing bands play. View is great. I think the price of the drinks are pricey tho; drinks cost more here than the other local bars

This fun, low country gem is a very laid back place to gather with some of the best low country views from the patio. Its a very popular place with not enough seating. Hopefully the new owners figure out how to fit more tables and chairs, cause everyone wants to hang out at the fillin station for burgers and drinks!!

Came here after bought by new owners, only one person behind the bar. Menu has change (understand able). No real service, no salt or pepper on the outside tables and the bartender is so busy, can’t get anything quickly. Food is good but unseasoned. Like it more more before. Still a local place, deck is great.

The food was fine and the atmosphere is nice. The outside covered area overlooks the water. I have given two stars because one of our party did not receive her order. We asked at about the 30 minute mark and were told it was being made, at the hour mark asked again and found out the order never made it to the kitchen. A refund was given, but no dinner. Found it to be unacceptable. Also, they had a band the night we were there and after we had ordered a couple of rounds and dinner they charged us a cover when the band started.
Dont judge a book by its cover. We almost left after pulling in the parking lot but a young couple told us the food was awesome. Im so glad we stayed. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable. The one man band was great and the music wasnt overly loud so we could still enjoy conversation with our friends. The staff was super friendly.

The live music makes this place worth a visit all by itself. If theres a band--you can bet that there will be plenty of inebriated people having a good time. A great spot for people watching.The beers were great--self service. The staff--if you see them at all--err on the side of belligerence, but its hard to hold it against them given the clientele.Great views of the water--lots of fun on a Saturday night.
Someone recommended this place and we thought wed give it a try. Dont judge the outside, theres a great vibe, an awesome patio. The drinks were on point and we had the fried oysters which were fresh and really good. Give it a try!

Exactly what I needed .Here is a great testimonial for these folks .I am new to the area my wife was in Beaufort memorial.I left the hospital to get a bite and get back .They were closed yet had the doors open cleaning the place up getting ready for a busy season . The owner and staff seen the band on my wrist from the hospital and asked if my wife was ok .Insisted I stayed fed me and gave me a beer . Opened there business and hearts to a person that needed it .Thanks so much for a great meal and a cold beer .Once my wife heels up you have a customer for life . Thanks so much again

Went for Burger, but it was New Years Day so they were only serving one meal to everyone. Pork, Black Eyed Peas, Collard Greens, and Choice of regular or jalapeno cornbread. It was a good meal. Music outside was loud. Had to park down to the street because they dont have much parking.
This place was a ton of fun. Good live music, not too loud and very reasonable drink prices. Roughly $5 per well drink or thereabouts. We didnt try the food but it looked rather appealing. The breeze was killer coming off the water. Jesus himself would have enjoyed some wine and fish here if he was alive and happened to live in Beaufort.

I am unable to give this restaurant a rating because it was not what I expected. Maybe a minus one star. If youre looking for a nice view and a place to just go drinking then its okay. But I would not order the food again. I can usually describe the food when Im giving a rating but this time I am unable to because I would have rather go to McDonalds or eat at a 7-eleven. Sorry guys, you need to really step it up a notch when it comes to fast food. Best wishes...

Decided to try based on the great reviews. Was a little confused at first. Is it a sit down place with waiter or waitress or do you sit anywhere? We went on a fri night and the place was very busy. Had to maneuver around the pool table as game was going on. Made it outside and its really neat back there. Bar was to busy so outside was nice. There was a man grilling steaks and had sides prepared. Although we didnt reserve steak dinner ahead of time he said he had extra so we were in luck.Dinner was amazing! Great little husband and wife gig and very different. I highly recommend trying. Now we know the routine so next time will be even better!

Building a home in Beaufort, and I see the parking lot of this place overflow at night time. From the front, most wouldn’t enter, or even consider it. But..............it’s the best local flavor you will find. Wednesday night, and Friday night are not to be missed. The karaoke from locals will have you laughing like you never laughed before. The food, and drinks are perfect! I’ve never spent any of my time in life in a bar, but I’m making an exception here. This place is great! Absolutely Love it!
