I stopped in for an adjustment the other day, and the staff, Jeri and Joseph, were so welcoming and professional. They adjusted and cleaned my glasses so well that they were like new again. I will be back to see them again for pricing after I get my next eye exam.

Leeann adjusted a pair of glasses of mine today, which I had purchased at another store. She also upgraded the nose pads to make them more comfortable. I’ve asked so many others to adjust my glasses, and no one else has gone above and beyond like she has. Thank you!

Great service! Didnt even purchase my prescription glasses from Meijer Optical and they adjusted 2 pair, I purchased elsewhere, free of charge plus gave me a free eyeglass case.Wish I would of purchased the glasses here originally.Highly recommended.

My time at Meijer Optical was more than perfect! From the excellent customer service to the manager Jeri, to the great care from Dr. Casey. I now have two new pair of glasses and am happy to say I was more than satisfied coming to this store.

Working with Leeann was the best decision. She not only was following Covid regulations, she was kind, and helped me find my perfect pair of glasses! I tried on many, and she never got frustrated. I appreciate the great communication with her as well. The Dr was also kind and followed Covid regulations. 10/10 will be returning.

Went here for glasses and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Not only did they help me find a pair of regular glasses but Jennifer also got me a pair of sunglasses for less than $50! I will definitely be using Meijer optical and Dr. Casey for all my eye care needs thank you for saving me over $850!!!!🤓

I am a caregiver and have the privilege to care for 3 Veterans in a small, local home here in Lapeer. My residents glasses broke while I was taking him to a Drs apt so we stopped at Meijer Optical while we were out. Jerry assisted my dear resident and repaired and cleaned them at no charge! She was very kind and helpful! Thank you Jerry and Meijer optical!

Unfortunately, my time at this Meijer Optical, from start to finish has been negative.1. When I showed up for my appointment the receptionist was very rude, claiming that she had tried to call several times that morning to get my info. I happily showed her my call log to prove that I never received a call.2. The time with the Dr. wasn’t bad3. When it came time to pay my card was charged twice.4. After not only calling the store but also corporate my card was not refunded 99$ until the 9th day following.5. Went for follow up and once again the woman helping me was very rude after I expressed that I was not going to purchase products from them due to my prior experience and that I was in need of a written prescription.I’m a VERY loyal Meijer shopper but after discovering that the optical store was a separate entity I was more than willing to post this review.Would not recommend.

My lenses were falling out of the frames due to them having no frame at the bottom. She was able to fix the string for me quickly and was done well.

Absolute worse place if you’re looking for good customer service. Between the Dr. being extremely rude and the staff always having an attitude, it is not worth your time. Now that Tora (manager) moved to the Birch Run location, I will never set foot in the Lapeer location again. I stopped by today around 4:30pm and there was a woman clearly with an attitude helping a couple, she had her coat on and acted like she was ready to leave the whole time she was helping the couple and rudely interrupted the lady who was helping me. I was so frustrated I didn’t even care to get names, I simply walked out. This was one of many bad experiences myself and others have had there.

Dr Casey is great!! However the optical manager Jennifer is rude and definitely not customer oriented. Ended up leaving without ordering glasses because of Jennifers attitude. Would give zero stars if I could have!

Came in looking for a certian frame which they didnt have, but Jennifer helped me find one that looked like it and fit me perfect. She explained my lens options in terms i understood and never forced me into something i didnt want. I love my new glasses and the money i saved was a bonus to as i didnt have to pay nothing today because they have 12 months same as cash with my new care credit card..Thank you meijer optical i will be back next year

I was surprised by the selection so I made an appointment. Dr. Casey was great. The staff was very helpful and the pricing was incredible.

Dr. Casey was amazing, this was the best experience I have had at an eye doctor. The manager Tora was excellent as well. I picked out my frames and she wanted to show me a pair of sunglasses. I was hesitant due to money but she insisted. She found a perfect pair that fit my personality. Once she told me the price I told her I would have to wait on the sunglasses. She then found ways to fit it within my budget! Also, the frames I chose were not in the system and she spent around 25 minutes correcting the issue. The issue was not resolved that day but she told me she would call when it was. The very next morning I received that phone call and everything was set up. I received them within the time I was promised. I appreciate all the hard work Tora went through for me to get my favorite pair of glasses I have ever had. Would highly recommend them. THANK YOU TORA!!!

I had an appointment 06/16/2017 That wasnt bad. I order glasses and they said about two weeks but I got to pick them up 06/22/2017 or thought I could. My Rx for my lenses were completely wrong and Jennifer said that it was her mistake and they would get them in as soon as possible. I called today 06/29/2017 and guess what they dont have my lenses said the estimated time would be 07/03/2017??? I guess that what they call soon as possible. Who wouldnt be upset about this? I just want my money back but of course no refunds THANKS SO MUCH JENNIFER! Still waiting on a call from her boss but she did call back and now my lenses will be there tomorrow 6/30/2017 What a headache!

Doctor was rude, and possibly a little slow

Great staff! And excellent and patient doctor. Knowledgable staff. Ignore previous reviewer. These peope are patient, tolerant, and saved me close to 400 dollars.

I will never step foot in the Meijer Optical in Lapeer. The girl scanned my card for glasses, claimed I didnt have the money to pay for the glasses. Embarrassed me in front of other customers and on top of that, Meijer had a hold on over $300 for a week while I complained to the corporate office and the supervisor of the optical department. At no time did they take responsibility for their actions. I can forgive a mistake, but not blatant incompetence. I wish I could give them less then one star. Oh, on a side note, they charge you for insurance without bothering to mention it!

Wasn’t even a customer, I just stopped in to see if they could fix my glasses. Katie spent over 20 minutes fixing them for me. Thank you!!
