Knowledgeable and helpful people, not pushy: overall, a pleasant environment. Most importantly, you can hold and try out a camera that youve been planning to buy forever and make sure that the several thousand dollars will be worth it. That it will feel comfortable, etc.My only problem was that it is so very hard to find. The Caesars Forum Shops is a huge area, and if youre coming from the wrong direction, you will be very frustrated after circling around for what feels like an eternity, going up and down escalators, losing a sense of direction, in a flood of aimless, loud casino people. Long story short, they are actually easy to find, if you use the right entrance. Very bottom floor, immediately on your left, just make sure you use the entrance from Las Vegas Blvd., just across the street from Harrahs. Otherwise, youll be stuck in a maze, strongly tempted to just give up. Dont even attempt to find it from inside the Palace.
I dont like hype or glitz, but appreciate quality. I will respectfully walk out of a shop if an employee lays out pretend knowledge or BS. I respect people who know what they dont know. I was reluctant to reach out to this shop because I was in Las Vegas on the Strip and figured this shop would be all about high dollar sales. I first called and spoke with a very respectful and patient individual, Andrew who answered my questions. I only had one Leica camera and really wanted education and information. I was met with zero pressure and zero hype. Andrew even gave me his opinions regarding accessories that were not in his self interest. I made a purchase of a Leica Q2 monochrome. Wow, what a camera. I have called the shop a few times for technical questions and was impressed with their after the sale support and counsel. Though I was only passing through Las Vegas I will look to this shop for future Leica purchases from afar.
Extremely friendly staff, very knowledgeable. I love the Leica brand already, but this shop is the cherry on top. They embody what the brand is. They are extremely professional and it is run very well. If you enjoy photography, it has to be on your list to stop in and check out some cameras. It is my favorite place to visit on the strip!
Ordered a Leica MP a la carte from this location since there isn’t a leica store in Texas and it was such a great decision. To be honest the camera was back-ordered and delayed for ages, I’ve never had to wait so long for a product! If it weren’t for Stephen(general manager) I would’ve probably lost it but every time I followed up for an update I always received a prompt and decisive response.10/10 would recommend to anyone I know! If you want a Leica you want to order it from this location 100%
Havent been to the store, but I really appreciate these guys. I called them up in Vegas asking about a Canon lens cover. They took the time to look it up, and recommended another store to me. Thats customer service to a stranger, not even in the store. I cant even imagine how they treat their customers. Thanks, guys.
Cibele and Harold are outstanding Leica Ambassadors! I recently ordered a new camera from them and had a wonderful experience picking it up. Cibele patiently took me through all the features with the demo camera, and, as we unboxed the new camera together, really made it feel special - as it should with Leica. They were both so helpful with the accessories, and kept in touch as new items became available. I loved the personalized experience and highly recommend them.
Friendly, competent staff. Not pushy, very helpful. Tried a Leica M10 for 24 hours. Good explanation of features and focus. They even swapped the battery so I did not have to take the time to recharge!
Im a photographer and my husband is a videographer so when we walked into the mall to take a break from the sweltering heat we were very excited to check out the Leica store. The staff seemed almost annoyed that wed walked in which was odd because we had our cameras on us and I feel that signals oh this couple isnt just walking through, theyre interested.Anyways, they were having a contest to spin a wheel and get a prize. My husband spun the wheel, but the gentleman at the store told us that he didnt have any left. I found this to be incredibly annoying with the lack of service they provided at the beginning. Why wouldnt he tell us before we spun the wheel or let us spin again? He seemed almost relieved when we left. Their loss.
They DO NOT actually repair cameras, waste of time
Bought my second Leica here and had a major problem. Sent it in and these guys got it back to me good as new a couple weeks later. Thank you very much.
Its really NICE place for avid photographer even if you have no intention to buy expensive Leica equipment: very knowledgeable and welcoming attitude and you have a chance to put your hands on this $$$$ cameras and lenses.
