Owner/staff are so kind. They greeted my little boy and gave him cookies. Really fun atmosphere for young kids.
Tons of backgrounds to take pictures! My favorite Pumpkin Patch in Vegas! Food vendors, shaved ice truck and more! Upon entry its $20 donation and they give you a bag of carrots to feed the horses.
First off my kids had an amazing time, OVERALL. Hence the 5 stars. However I do have alot to say in regards to our visit for those looking for in depth information. When you arrive (during halloween) the entrance donation is a $20 fee. The rest of the year entrance is free. With your donation You receive a ticket for a free pumpkin anywhere on the property just hand it to a staff member on the way out. Any added pumpkins are an extra $6 each. Along with your ticket you receive a small bag of carrots to feed the animals. What I wasnt prepared for were the other activities being individually priced. Face painting $6-$20. Pony rides $5. Horse ride $10. Train ride $2. Then there are toys and mini playgrounds all around the property for free. All other reviews I saw made it seem like these rides/activities were included with the $20 donation so I was a bit frustrated when I had to send my husband to the gas station to pull cash out of the atm. They accept venmo & cash app but not for all the activities. So ultimately its easier to take cash.Conductor Duke was THE SWEETEST!! He drove the train for the kids as well as ran the snacks/beverage van. Everything is $1. Chips, popcorn, soda, water, ice cream. So that was great. However, there was a witch of a lady who I really wanted to cuss out. When we first entered my kids wanted to feed each horse. One was off in a separate gated area ( at the time we were not aware this horse was for the horse ride portion )As my kids walked up with their carrots she began yelling at them DONT FEED THIS ONE! DONT FEED THIS ONE!!! YOU CANT READ!? It wasnt until we were 2ft in front of the gate where we could see Dont feed me scribbled on the dusty railing in thin sharpie.I told my kids to move on and ignored her rude tone. However, later on my 4 year old decided she wanted to ride the big horse instead of the ponies. I told her she was a bit small and that this one was meant for bigger kids. This same woman over heard while walking the horse around and pointed at my daughter and SCOLDED her you cant ride this pink shirt youre too small! You go ride the small pony with the small kids because you cant come here! My daughter cried.I told the woman there are nicer ways to speak to people & she shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. If it were just about her Id probably do 1 star. But everyone else was so nice that it doesnt seem fair. Just be aware.
A friend suggested McKee Ranch and it didnt disappoint! One of Vegass best kept secrets. Let my start with theress a $5 donation or $20 for the whole family. You have pony rides, horse rides and even a tractor pull. Theres also chickens, roosters walking around. My kids and I had a great experience here. We will definitely be back
This place was great! The staff running everything were very friendly and helpful. If you have kids you have to bring them here. My two year old was able to feed horses, pigs, rosters and a few other animals. They also give hay rides and horse rides. Plus there are plenty of spots to get your insta gram photos taken :). The cost is a $20 donation but I recommend give a little more, it’s totally worth it.
Went for the first time tonight and my kids loved it! I will definitely make this a go to place all year long!
$20 per family to enter and get a pumpkin. They sell food and drinks for $1 each. The pony ride is extra (or use your ticket instead).Love that they provide this sanctuary for the animals. With a 9 month old, this was a perfect place to introduce her to farm animals, walk through a small corn maze, and get family fall pictures.
Ive been out to McKee Ranch a few times and just love it. Christi and Max McKee was wonderful people, sweet, friendly, helpful. I cant say enough nice things about them! Their ranch is the most adorable place Ive found here in the Vegas area since moving here almost a year ago. The property is filled with beautiful antiques, quirky memorabilia, and of course their big personality animals.Recently my husband and I (new husband) had our wedding ceremony during sunset at their ranch. It was the most perfect country/farm setting I could ever hope for. The entire place was decorated with twinkle lights, pumpkins, and sunflowers! The McKees went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. They even made us a little wedding cake and got champagne for toasts. We werent expecting all that as we had a reception planned at a local restaurant. But the cake she made was DELICIOUS, and it matched my own bridal flowers. If you ever get a chance to visit the McKee Ranch, do so. You wont be disappointed. They have lots of animals for the kids to feed. They have unending photo op locations throughout their property. They even hold a nighttime flashlight market a couple times a year with lots of local vendors and artists. What a great outing for the entire family and not have to suffer in the heat and sun.
Great place to take the grandbabies to feed and pet the animalsFriendly staff, will maintained
This place was great. Just my kids cup of tea. We love animals and to be able to feed and touch them is awesome. Will definitely be coming back.
Our first time here and we loved it! As did our 2 year old... Lots to see, tons of animals to feed, farm fresh eggs! Will definitely be back! The owners are so nice too! Thank you for this place!
Great place to take the littles when youre up early!.. My son had the best time feeding the animals this morning and we will definitely be back soon!!
Very nice place for children to see a small variety of animals. Chickens, horses, goats, rabbits, goats, roosters. Fun place, the only downside is the bathrooms are a disaster. Keep clean restrooms and this place would be better.
Well this is a really nice place to spend your weekend or your day off with your family, wow my kids loved it, my son of 3 years old was walking around, running, chasing the bunnies, playing, riding the little train and then he was crying because did not want to leave lol, and my daughter she is 12 year olds was happy as well taking pictures touching the animals, the staff are really nice you can see that they love what they do, and for me and my wife was so relaxing, it is something different sit down relax watch the animals the trees, really nice places, next weekend Im going again .
We got threatened to get shot and kicked out just for having skateboards. Race/ethnicity may have been a factor as well. Plus the drinking water for the animals looked very unsanitary.
Its great If you have kids (there were tons having a blast!) Totally and completely affordable. And still a ton of fun if youre just bored or looking for something to do thats a little bit different! Plus lots of great information about animals!
Awesome place for the whole family!
Had a wonderful day at the ranch?
Great time for the kids and family
Good for the kids if you are looking for a short outing.
Was fun finding the animals and being chased by chickens. The kids liked the swings and slide.
Bring your carrots folks! Great time, and you get to feed all the animals! Its free, though they do ask for a modest donation, which is very fair to care for all these wonderful animals. Have kids? Great place to spend some time with them.
Awesome place run by great volunteers
What a lot to enjoy! My kids loved the tractor-pulled mini train ride and feeding the animals. It was a fun and friendly place to spend the afternoon!
Very friendly, with warnings about the animals who bite. They provide carrots to feed animals and also offer the option to ride a horse or pony depending on age. Overall just had a good time!
Love taking our daughter there to feed the horses and goat.
An amazing experience. The family was very friendly and the animals even more so. A great spot for a family fun day
Good experience for children. Not impressed with staff and guests not wearing a mask! Last time I checked were still in a pandemic and this is mandatory in this state, especially for businesses. Some care for the safety of your staff and your customers would be appreciated.
It was the best place I’ve ever been in Las Vegas it had everything I liked it had horses and animals and it was so fun I loved it please go and spend all your money here it’s so worth it I love it I would spend 5 million on this place
It was a lot of fun but definitely for families with younger kids, 8 & under. Mine were a little old for all the play areas. Im just happy I got to hug a horse!
Absolutely amazing, ranch amazing people and above all great atmosphere!
Cute lil place to take the kids to experience farm animals.
A wonderful place that is completely free to visitors. Come and explore on your own, and bring food for the animals like lettuce, carrots, and other plant based products. They also host tons of community events where you can learn about the animals and how to care for them, ride horses, yoga with goats, holiday events and photos, and just general family events. You can even host parties here. Just remember it is a farm and you should dress accordingly
Mckee Ranch is the best kept secret in Vegas for the whole family. Best people Max and Christi. Kind welcoming generous. Stay around happy blessed peoples, I always bring family and friends. Feel at home & like a family. It s like going for mountain experience to relax, watch animals & pick fresh eggs. Please support & sponsor the animals. Fr. Nadim🙏🕊💒👌☘🐔🐓🐣
This place is a must see. It’s so great to bring the family. It’s like stepping out of Las Vegas on to a lil country farm. Bring your kids!
Great place for families. Lots to do and look at. A big thanks for putting this event on.
Very cool place, and very nice people. You wouldnt expect something like this in Las Vegas!
The best pumpkin pat h for both kids and adults. Highly recommended!
Place seems to be run down. Too many people in such a small space. NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL!
Kids loved it😊
Wonderful place to take your kids/grandchildren. Lots of farm animals and friendly staff.
Love taking my son bring carrots
Great pumpkin patch 🎃 and nice break from city scene any season. Fresh eggs 🥚 milk. Animals, pony rides. Check it out!! Fun, quaint
Grandbabies had fun on train and ponies but fell on Cactus😣 kinda ruined the day. Poor baby
Great place for families.
Nice place for the animals.
My 5 year old had a great time!
Really fun. Filled with animals and activities for the kids.
Awesome! Good ol family fun
Absolutely amazing. Friendly people super kid friendly. My 3 year old had a blast. Be aware of your children and you wont have any issues. Bring plenty of carrots for the horses !
Wow, sounds like Kourtney could use a roll in the hay! Clearly it says $5.00 donation. Its to help take care of the animals. How mean can you be! Dont let her steal your Thunder team. You are doing awesome things
We bring my grandchild here every year several times. She loves it. She begs to go see the horses so she can feed them carrots. She loves the ranch!!! Such a family friendly environment 😊
A Wonderful place to take your family
Amazing place, very nice animals
People want to complain complain complain. This place, as expected, is a small ranch. Fun to take kids to to get away from the typical Vegas. 30 minutes is all you really need. October/Halloween is the best time to visit, u get a pumpkin and some great photo ops. Ive been taking my son here since he was a baby. Hes 9 now, this will probably be our last year as hes getting too old. Staff has always been great.
Very nice place, always greeted with smiling faces, enjoy going there
First time there absolutely loved it!
The ranch is fine, but the restrooms are beyond awful. There is no way you could allow a child to use those restrooms. Horrific!
I have a question do you kill the chicken?
I loved the houses and mule! My favorite was Rayne and Ducan! I really want to volunteer there!
I love this little heaven on earth. The owners really love and care about their pets and have a true love to share that with the public. Its a joy to come visit. I would like to see a sprinkler system around the horses to keep them cooler but maybe there is one and I havent seen it...?????
Cute old timey farm experience.
My Son and his family came in from Washington State with my 11 month old Grandson and we came here. Admission is free during the week, and we brought a bag of carrots for the baby to feed the horses and Donkey. We all enjoyed it and took lots of pictures. It was a nice experience
What an enjoyable thing to do with your family. Every October is a pumpkin patch. They ask for a 20 dollar donation to help feed the animals all year long. The rest of the year its free to visit. With the 20 dollar admission toy get a hay ride, corn maze, free photo shoot, ( purchase pictures on line if you desire) play on the hay stacks, sit and enjoy the day, let the children play and take home a pumpkin of your choice.face painting and pony ride for an extra feeLots of chickens, geese, turkeys, rabbits, horses, ponys, donkey, goats and pigs to feed and pet.
I absolutely love this place but..20 dollars for fall pumpkin patch thing I thought included everything...no! Bring more money horse/pony rides extra, face painting was not cheap, food very reasonable everything 1 buck each hotdogs etc. Photography thing not cheap. A big plus was the hayride thou....Only goes in a circle around horsepit but its absolutely a must and free. One pumpkin you pick if free and they supply some carrots etc. But very pricey. If bringing a family of like 5 and just do hayride is 20 and theres a cornmaze in back and all the animals of course and lots of free photo OPPORTUNITIES with own camera. If wanting rides n face painting etc bring more money like 30 or more incase.
...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
This was a great place to take the kids to look at some farm animals. The 30 second pony ride for the kid was priced pretty steep for how short it was, but everything else was good. Nifty family activity.
Bring lots of carrots:)
There is a wonderful place to visit ! It looks like it was made from a genuine good heart !!! There is lots of happy animals running freelly around and lots of activities for toddlers ! You can even get organic eggs straight form the farm for only $5 of donation ! Loved it ! Definately going to visit again !
I am visiting from another state and I have been trying for 3 Days to get in touch with this place because this was something that was mentioned to me at a passing with another parent on something fun to do with my children and neither have they messaged me back call me back answer their phone or nothing in regards to what to look forward to if theres a prize if theres donations anything of that nature very poorly Herald Mail customer service no feedback no way to look it up on the website no information whatsoever I am very unhappy it only takes a second to respond
Free to bring the kids other than during parties and certain weekends. Love this place!! Very friendly! Feed the chickens, ducks, rabbits, horses, donkeys, goats... They also sell eggs!
