Chris and Chad were courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. We needed help with our reverse door test on our garage door, and they fixed it in no time. I called this morning and was able to get on the schedule by 1 PM same day. We used Precision before to install our new garage door openers and contacted them right away with no hesitation for this job too.

Precision was responsive and quick to get someone out to our home when our garage was having issues. Hector was the tech that showed up and he provided phenomenal service. Hopefully we don’t need the assistance in the future but should something arise, Precision is who we’ll be calling and Hector is who we’ll request. Thanks guys!

The technician just left my house - Stated I had a old garage door opener and that he could not get the battery that they did not make them anymore. The garage door opener started beeping this am and the service light was on. I was charged a $ 59.95 service fee to unplug my battery so it would not beep . And you know what I was ok with that. He actually came out and performed a service.So 5 minutes after he left I went online and found the exact battery I need and it will be shipped to me in 3 days.So I called the office back and asked if the guy came back out could you let me know what the fee to install the battery would be? The guy said no he did not know the fee. I said - Does anyone at your company know the fee? He said no I do not have that information, only the technician knows. I said well the tech just left my house, 5 minutes ago - Can you call him and ask him to give me a call? No mam - I cannot have him do that. We would have to send another technician out and he could check and then give you the price. I asked is there a manager there or someone I could talk to that might know your company pricing? No Mam there is no one that knows that information. So I am going to call someone to come out and not know the fee up front? I think that is poor customer service - I will call another company that is more up front about their pricing. Or perhaps Ill install it myself.So think before you call this company - cause they dont know their pricing until they get on your property and see where you live.

I needed new cables and decided to just go through with a whole maintenance and replace all rollers and spring. The tech Juston was very polite and gave me many options for repairs. Repairs were quickly done and I am happy Precision had all parts on hand considering most parts for almost everything is hard to get right now. My opener is no longer struggling to open and it opens smoothly and quiet. Cheers to Precision for great service and being able to come over so quickly!

I needed to have my garage door replaced because I backed into it with my car while it was closed - duhThe door being replaced was installed by Precision Door ~2 years ago so I called them to give me an estimate. The prior install was OK but not perfect (I was disappointed that the seal was flush with the ground). When the Precision Door representatives arrived they told me that prices had gone way up due to a metal shortage and that it would cost $3400. This was for just the door as the rails and opener were not damaged. The original install was only $2400.I called Precision Door two days later and spoke to Art (?the owner). I asked him if the price quoted was reasonable/fair and if I would get a similar quote from other garage door vendors. He assured it was fair and competitive but that we could discuss lower cost options. He promised to call me the following Monday at 3:00PM. He never called.I called American Veteran Garage Doors and they came out the next day. They quoted $1650 for a door with superior specs to the one quoted by Precision Door. They installed it two days later and I am VERY pleased with the results.

I thought a company that fixes garage doors would know what to do regardless of the brand, the guy that came out didnt know what to do but played around with it and got it to work for 2 weeks. And then wanted to charge me again for coming out again when I called again when the same problem persisted. Fun fact Precision, know your products if you are going to do this job. You cold have asked me what kind of product I have before you came out.

After passing the initial interview my interviewer stated that she was highly interested in proceeding and she would get the owner to talk with me.After sitting down with him and one other person his first question to me was about the longest job ive held to which I replied the United States Navy.He then told me that that isnt a real job. After a pause in the room I asked him what he meant. To which he stated if I didnt show up to work I would go to prison. Then he rephrased the question to the longest civilian job I held. I told him a year and a half. He asked why so short and I told him I was moving around. He then said he doesnt understand why someone would move around that often and wanted me to help him understand. At that point I had no desire to elaborate on anything with this guy so I repeated my answer. I then was excused from the I interview and was told they would be in touch.First off, would it occur to you that by enlisting I was already aware that I was sacraficing everything to serve my country. Well I was aware and I did so knowing full well that at the minimum I would be expected to show up when Im told. And I did so, day in and day out for years. Working 12 to 16 hour days 7 days a week at times while serving on land and at sea.Second of all. A year and a half is no short time with any job. I dont know how long he was expecting me to say but its funny since I was interested in learning more about the company and was told that both of his front desk employees have not been working there for more than a month. After meeting him I can see why.Needless to say I called them back and said I wasnt impressed at all by the owner and they could remove me from consideration from the position.

DB, representative started conversation that he was a installer not a technician and was called at 0600 to come to my house. Looked at my Genie garage door opener and mention Genie was bad company and recommended to replace it at cost of $1200.00 to approximately 1500.00. He final physical looked at it says about 15 years old and need replaced, I told him I was on a budget he tinkered with saying DB not repairable.Downloaded reviews of door garage openers took it to Home Depot purchase one $229.00 plus discount for Vet $177.00, installation $89.00 plus one year warranty for installation.I have done business several times no complaints with my other home, DB seemed he had chip on his shoulder.

I just had a garage door opener for a single car garage door installed by Precision Door Co. I feel that they took advantage and ripped off my 89 year old father. They installed a 3/4 hp Liftgate 8550 operator with a 7 ft rail and charged him $925.00 for the unit with total install price of $1250.00. For a single car garage door? It should have been a 1/2hp operator for single car garage door. 3/4 hp is overkill. I believe their installers work from commission and are told to up sell and take advantage of certain people. They also had my dad sign documents stating that the installer made recommendations and that he refused their recommendations, when no recommendation to my father were made by the installer. In fact the garage doors are new and recently replaced, even the installer stated that to us. They told me these were standard documents that require a signature. Well if no recommendations were made, why did they make my father sign these forms stating recommendations were made. I went online an saw other companies selling the same door opener for between $389.00 and $450.00 with 7 ft. rail. I am very unhappy and feel my father was ripped off by this company. Beware of this company, I was a loyal customer of theirs for may years, not any more. They will be the last company I ever call again.

Had a problem with the spring system of my garage door on Sunday. Didn’t have time to get estimates from different companies. Good thing my neighbor said he used Precision Overhead two weeks ago & he was happy with their job. When I called Precision, they said a technician will come between 1-3 pm. They sent Jon Wilson, I was lucky to have him. He was punctual, arrived exactly 1 pm, checked what was happening, explained the problem and what needs to be done to fix it, gave me an estimate of the costs, and covered warranties by the company. I thought he knows what he was doing so I gave my OK. After I gave my OK, he installed the new, more sturdy & better-quality spring system. It took him maybe more than an hour but I am very satisfied with how my garage door opens & closes now, runs smoothly & quietly.Thank you, Jon. Oh my gosh . I would give more stars if I could! We discovered a broken spring our our garage door at about 4pm in a Saturday night . The best we could do alone was open it and keep it open until someone could come fix it. I called Precision Overhead based on the consistent 5 star reviews I saw on several sites I researched . I called and the phone was answered immediately by a lovely receptionist that assured me that the problem would be fixed that evening. Called at 4:45 and assured me that a technician would be out between 5pm-7pm. We were sent several text messages while waiting with updates on his arrival. A very professional and experienced gentleman name Jon arrived, diagnosed the issue and fixed it. Super kind and friendly. I just can’t say enough good things about him and the company.Precision is open 24/7 and promises same day service. Who does that? Thank you Jon and Precision for allowing me to sleep better tonight knowing that my garage door is closed,fixed and everything else was reviewed for proper function. Please call them if you have issues. You will be so glad you did!!!!

These guys are great. Joe came out and gave me a thorough evaluation of my garage door. He gave me a very fair quote and within 24 hours I had an appointment on Easter weekend. He and rick then came out to my house and did a fantastic job, completing the work expediently. They even ran into an issue with my yard, and generously didn’t upcharge me for additional work. I called them out because last night the door button inside the garage would not work or the opener in vechial . Come to find out, my A/C system was replaced the day before and it triggered the house fuse to turn off.“Nick” was the tech that came out and told me that the fuse needed to be reset to on. Once he did that the door worked. He never once asked me for a service fee, I did have him replace the outside opener and a few other things but, never once did he try to take advantage of me.I give 5 stars for your employee “NICK” and Precision for having team members that do “what is right”You are my go to company!

There was miscommunication from the office on the cost of my service call and Shawn resolved it by speaking to someone there since we have used Precision many times over the years. I contacted Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas on a Sunday expecting an appointment mid-week. Precision scheduled an appointment on that Sunday- within 3 hours of my call. Just had Chris come out and inspect my own door and my neighbors door. He was very knowledgeable about the parts and functions, and gave me several options about what I could do today, vs later on. Decided to replace the old worn out spring on one door, which was priced reasonably, and was done in about 30 mins. Door was much quieter after spring replacement and could hold the door up much better. Ill definitely call Precision out in the near future for door maintenance.

Called Precision at 10:30 in the am on a Friday and they had a tech at my house before noon!Brett was very knowledgeable and was able to explain what was needed to get my garage door back up and running. He was able to give me a couple different options as well. Within 30 minutes Brett had completed the work. He did a great job and was very professional and just an all around great guy. Shawn & Corey from Precision Overhead came to look at my garage door and my 1st thought was that I was so grateful to find a company that would come out at 8pm in the evening, however once they were there taking a look at the issue they were both extremely polite and personable making the experience that much more comfortable. I have been using Precision Overhead Door for over 14 years. I have found their expertise & customer service to be excellent. Most recently, 1/20, I was having issues with our remotes & the outside keypad. The technician, Chris was excellent and very knowledgeable. He started troubleshooting to find the problem starting with the simplest & cheapest fix, but it ended up needing a new logic board which Chris swiftly replaced. When it comes time for a new drive motor I’ll be sure to call Precision again.

Assessed the situation and give us three options on his iPad. Inside of two hours we are now enjoying our new motor with WiFi capability.
