Went to dairy queen and they said we are closed at 6:55pm and when I passed by coming from where I was going saw them handing out food to someome else. All I wanted was an ice cream cone. I felt very disrespected and confused on why they closed that early on a Friday but then to see them welling to serve someone else. It seems like this place needs some help alot of disrespectful teenagers.

Very friendly staff. The app needs to be updated to not include grilled chicken. Staff was very helpful to accommodate my order.

They forgot our fries. Gave us 2 large fries instead of getting our order correct. The gravy tasted horribly. They also were not serving ice cream during our visit. Overall, the fries were the only good part of our meal.

I had a terrible experience with both product and service last weekend. I ordered a cake in advance for my moms/brothers birthday. I called in advance to ensure it was ready for pick-up, I was told yes. Upon arrival I was told there were issues with freezer and it needed to be remade and I would have to pick it up later. This was very inconvenient but ok, fine. I go pick it up later only and the cake almost slid off the tray as it was being handed to me, clearly still not frozen. I take the cake anyway because I wanted it for the birthday(s). I froze it for additional 3 hours before cutting it, only to find a mess. Since when is there no cookie or fudge layer in an ice cream cake. Please let me know if youve ever seen anything like the photo below. I was very disappointed so I called to speak to manager, who needed approval from her superior to make this right. I was never called back. I grew up in Las Vegas and never experience this kind of service/product from Dairy Queen on 7th street.

Gravy is always watered down portions are tiny when it comes to banana splits. The mall in Santa Fe has a great dairy queen that knows how to do it right. This store needs to take notes from Santa Fe malls dairy queen.

The girl at the window was really rude kept on saying are you done anything else. Also saw them just sitting there messing around..! Not using gloves when making ice cream and not wearing glove when there touching our food and the window. Wish I could give this a negative 0000.

Had a girl taking my order that was pretty rude. Also when I went to the window I gave her 2 gift cards that I have and she said she couldnt use them. When I asked for my receipt she said the system was down. I asked her for her name but didnt give it to me. I asked her for the managers name and she said it was Monique. Very poor customer service.

Waited 30 mins in the drive thru to find out or order wasnt gonna be ready any time soon

If your traveling through New Mexico avoid this DQ. Service is horrible, order wrong and they refuse to fix it. Second time stopping here will be last.Northbound theres a DQ in RatonSouthbound Albuquerque or Santa fe thats so much better

2/28/2021 I wouldve gave it a better review but every time i come here, the girls that take your order are very rude. I usually avoid this dairy queen. Id rather drive across town to the lesperance dq if its open. The owners seriously need to do something about these snotty, rude girls at the window!

Was disappointed bcuz they were out of white gravy for my chicken strips, other than that was fresh.

There wasnt any dine in, only take out. Neither can you use the rest rooms. It was drive thru only. The food was good but the customer service left a lot to be desired. The girl at the window was severely lacking in customer service skills and also cheated us out of two dollars. So if you want to go here, avoid it on Saturday around 2:00 p.m.

Never truly satisfied at this one. This location some how finds a new way to shock me in a new not so good way.

Went to drive through ordered one milkshake drink, waited for a half hour just for us to pull up to the window and be told that their ice cream machine is down when I know they have more than one ice cream machine

Stood there for 5 min and no one came to the counter. Staff was socializing in the back and wasnt greeted or asked to wait. Like... Nah we good and walked out.

Of course this is not what it looked like when I got it lol but it was Delicious!!!!! Just perfect and everyone was polite.

Food was good but every time me and my sister in law went one of the workers were very rude when ordering and would say things like “are you done” or “is that it” in a very rude tone and would give us dirty looks at the window felt really unwelcome definitely think they need to hire people with better people skills not the first time I heard about this problem and experienced it for myself every time I have gone.

This place would be whole lot better if they would make the burgers fresh instead of putting them in a microwave.

The drive through clerk was one of the rudest persons that I’ve had the experience to meet. When I asked for a lid she rolled her eyes and made a rude disgusting comment. If that’s the kind of employees that work there, I’ll make sure I never frequent that establishment again.

I called at 11:00am to see if there were any ice cream cakes and I was told I would have to wait to go get one until they opened. I asked what time they opened and she said 10:30 am, but that they were just getting things around at 11:00am. She said I could go pick one up around 11:30am; one hour after they were supposed to be open! It is really sad how this DQ has gone down hill since the Sandoval’s sold it. There have been several times that this DQ has been closed when they should be open, and what DQ runs out of ice cream?!! New management should be running this business better!

Very Disappointed~~We are loyal customers when we are in Las Vegas, NM. Live in Mora County an hour away. Today, I asked my husband to pick up a Hot Fudge shake, Chili Cheese Hot Dogs and Onions Rings. After he waited 20 minutes, a staff member advised that they had no buns for the Hot Dogs. He was refunded his money for the Hot Dogs and left with onion rings and my shake. If the crew had half a brain, they could have spent 5 or 10 minutes walking over to Lowes Super Save (in the same location) and bought some hot dog buns and had a satisfied customer. Instead, returning to DQ Grill & Chill, is not going to happen!

By FAR the worst experience Ive ever had at a DQ. We stopped at this location on our way through town. When we got there, there were a few items on the menu that were marked as Out So we got chicken strips and some burgers, and a kids meal with a hot dog. My niece wanted ranch, theyre out. As we sat down, the cashier approached us to let us know they were also out of hot dogs. When we went up to the counter for our ice cream, they were out. So we decided on Dilly bars, butterscotch to be exact, guess what...out...unless all you want is a burger and a dilly bar...stay away from this location....oh and on top of that the cashier looked super annoyed with us, and had her headphones in...super unprofessional, next time we go through here, definitely trying a new place in town.

This DQ was awesome! We stopped there for ice cream on a road trip. My thoughts: Super nice, friendly employees. Fast Service. Yummy Ice Cream(havent tried the food yet). It was clean!! Most Fast food places arent clean, this was 😀😀😀

Ever since this DQ has new management they are always out of everything. We ordered buster bars and waited in line for 15 minutes. When we got to window the girl tells us we are out of buster bars. Why not say when you are ordering.

Worst DQ ever. Under cooked and apparently under staffed with 9 employees?

We waited in line at the drive through for 25 minutes, ten minutes at the window. We ordered two banana splits which were totally melted and in soup form by the time we got them. We returned the banana splits and the two employees acted as though they were offended when we did so. The guy at the counter said they were all out of bananas. (Interesting that we happened to get the last two bananas they had. This was on June 29th at 8:50pm.

I always like going to this DQ. Their set-up is somewhat cozy and your greeted with friendly faces. I especially like when they hand deliver your food to your table. The downside of all this is the prices. They use to be affordable. When now, it seems your paying alot for a mini blizzard. I dont recall it costing so much. Maybe I could be wrong, if in fact I am, I due apologize. If you have a craving for ice cream and youre not looking to spend a lot. I recommend getting a plan small cone.

Asked for a strawberry kiwi freeze ended up getting a shake of strawberry kiwi and when we got home checked the bag looked as if they just crumbled up the napkins and threw them in the bag and the food is cold. Then the drive thru girl seemed very unprofessional when I asked to make it a freeze she said I would be charged more.

Las Vegas, NM...doesnt even rate a half star... Service is slow, very slow. Prices are too high... Smallest Strawberry Julius. $4.68 and wasnt good...used to be good long ago. Dipped cones too thinly coated..dip them well!!!!!

I came into the restaurant and wanted only a blizzard and ice cream sundae. There was plenty of staff but, they were all at the drive through. I waited about half an hour for service and could hear them arguing over who had to get the front. Finally after 40 min we were helped by a scowling We were the only people in the restaurant! Next we tried the drive-thru. The service was awful as though it wouldve hurt them to at least smile! I ordered the chicken strip combo and my son chicken strip kids meal. My chicken smelled old and tasted bad, the fries were cold and they only gave me a quarter of the container of gravy. They ran out of Dilly Bars for sons kids meal and only offered a sugar-free version instead of something a kid would want. We received no napkins. When I showed him the container of gravy and hows it wasnt the usual amount they said I could pay for another quarter filled cup of gravy! The entire time the staff rolled their eyes at me like I was beneath them!

Only place in town that you can get a MARSHMALLOW shake including the Dairy Queen on Grand Ave. If you havent tried one, they are delicious and the fries here... Perfection!!!🍧🍟😋

I come to this DQ often, and have never had a problem or extra wait time. The menu is about the same as any DQ, but the food is always prepared well and is as fresh as fast food gets.
