I have took two stars off because the items do not have price marked. Not on packaging, not on the isle and its very irritating to ask for prices for each and every item. This store has good stock of all items -No Doubt and I find all my groceries easily. But the pricing is not marked there and when you are at the counter you are surprised by the prices sometimes, and either I have to ask to remove it or buy it to save myself from being rude- I guess. But its very irritating. I hope they improve on marking prices on all items like they have been improving the store layout.

This place is a bit expensive especially for the students. But the good part is mainly because I am from Nepal, I find many accustomed items. I had to visit the place at least once a month. Some people might even enjoy delicacies like sweets which are typical to India. It is especially recommended during the festivities. This place will make you nostalgic.

Certain seasonal stuff can be pricey, gotta watch out for those expiration dates, and Gopal is probably THE ONLY REASON why this store is standing in good condition. He really puts in an effort to provide one and all. You have to ask him if you need anything and the other Spanish speaking people are really hard working and helpful too.

Well you can find all the ingredients you need here. It’s probably the biggest Indian market in town. Offer good amount of organic goods. I’d come here to get my gluten free flour supplies. One thing to really watch out is the expiration date on their products. A lot of them are already expired for a year so read before you pay. The fast food restaurant in there is great for gluten free folks. Most of their bread are gf but their curry needs more flavor imo. Try their Dosa! Yum!

Beware when you purchase from here - Very disappointed in regards to customer care, Many reasons. I was denied defective item return. I brought the item when return policy was in place. But the owner blatantly ignored my request. Also, take into consideration, missing pricing information on items and most important concern is that they are selling spices packed with their store name. The quality, industrial best practice and compliance can be compromised when a product is repacked from bulk quality into smaller individual packets.

Moved here after 12 years in the Silicon Valley. Was too spoiled for the myriad choices of Indian grocery stores and restaurants - as I used to say, you want SOUTH Indian cuisine, you have 5 restaurants to choose from, you want NORTH Indian cuisine, you have 5 restaurants to choose from...So I was understandably apprehensive.BUT, when my wife explored the market, she found Sukka Bombil (or dried Mackerel) - which we have found NOWHERE in the US in our more than 20 years living here... In fact, we have found it only in Western India to prepare a Parsi dish - Tarapori Patia - which my wife loves! So, for us, this is straight off a FIVE Star rating.Other items we found - Baked Vada pav and frozen pav - great for Bambaiyas like us.Also Butterscotch Ice Cream from Vadilal! Heck - I need to stop here!

So place is ..alright, a bit disorganized but I found most of the stuff I need. Honestly it gets a 2 from me just because of the people. Im a pretty chill dude, Im go in there get my spices as most markets dont have them and between the people working and the people shopping (sans the sparse americans) the people are very rude. Like, why are you questioning if I know how to cook? Do you think Im buying these spices for looks? Are you not gonna at least look at me as you are ringing up my stuff? I didnt pop off as I am in uniform but I wont be coming back. Yall need to work on your customer service.

A lot of variety. Some of the items are somewhat pricey though. Dishes in their cafe are good value for money too. I would have given 4 stars if all the items had price tags in them. Most of the items in the shelves don’t have price tags and you won’t know the price until you go to the counter. It is very annoying and inconvenient. I hope they address this issue. Cannot be that difficult to put right price under right item, can it? Please fix this.
