According to my wife, the only reason she and other Koreans shop at Greenland Supermarket is that there are no other Korean markets in Las Vegas. If there were, she would never step foot inside this market again. Its too expensive, run-down, dirty, and smells; the employees are unfriendly and sometimes downright rude and abusive. Every time she leaves to go to this store she gets upset at the thought of spending 30 to 40 percent more money than she used to in Los Angeles when we lived there.I was with her today and understand her sentiments exactly. What I saw was employees without masks or worn beneath their chin. When I tried to snap a picture of one wearing her mask under her chin, she immediately pulled it up when she saw me pointing my telephone at her. But you can also see two male employees (in the rear) with their masks under their chins. These people are handling food for Gods sake. These people are working in a food concession and should have masks over their noses and wear gloves.I think my wifes allocation of two stars is more than generous based on what I saw today.
Excellent quality of produce and hot Korean food and side dish. First time buying the marinated meats and they are great as well. There’s a small Korean baked good right outside tue small lobby. The only negative thing a can say is the cashiers are not Korean so when I asked them about Korean products they don’t know what it is.They should trained their employees to know basic Korean products. Just my opinion but I still highly recommend this place for your Korean food needs.
Most awesome store for Korean products. Excellent protein, dry goods and produce selections. Very fresh. Sorry no photos but definitely worth your shopping experience.
This is definitely a neat little market, plenty of choices, some cooked or pre-made foods, nicely packaged fruits and vegetables. Lacking in the sweet department as far a variety however that is based on my husbands choice of sweets he prefers. Overall great seafood selection and fresh kimchi...YUM!!
I was visiting Las Vegas and it was really great to be able to find a Korean market. I saw the food court but couldnt use it because it was after hours. The market is pretty old and not as clean and wide as recent markets, but it is pretty much well organized. They have a lot of kinds of items from groceries to small house items. Must be good to have this in town.
Great Asian market. Has everything you will need. Everything is in hanguel so knowing a little helps. The fresh kimchi is a bit sweet so if you like that it’s perfect. I personally prefer a bit spicy. I saw people said staff was rude to customers that weren’t Asian but don’t believe that’s the case at all. Felt like I was treated adequately. Will be here often.
In A Nutshell:-Greenland Supermarket is a Korean grocery store located in Las Vegas.-Its the only one west of the The Strip.-This grocery contains the essentials of what you would need to cook most Korean dishes at home.-The prices are slightly higher, but compared to Korean food at the local restaurants which are lower, this all washes out.Overall, if you live in the area or decide to move, this Korean grocery store provides all the essentials to make your transition smooth.
Korean grocery store with some extra items. Aisles are a little cramped but manageable. Could use some better signage.
Great prepared cucumber kimchi but the butcher/meat section needs some updating on codes and cleanliness smells like a cross between summers in New York or Juarez . And bloodied Homemade paper signs not really attractive to the buyer.
Very nice korean supermarket very huge selection! It also has a decent sized food court and little korean shops inside. There is a butcher shop as well and fresh seafood. Plenty of brands and variety to choose from. There is also freshly made sides such as kimchi. They also sell cookware and alcohol such as soju.
Their prices have gone up alot. Some of the stuff are ridiculously over priced.
Similar to Hmart where you can find all your Korean groceries in one spot. I love coming here to find new fruits and vegetables to try. They do have little shops as well and a cafeteria like area to order food. I found a cute rice dispenser here.
Several options available in the food court, albeit all Asian flavors. My wife ordered a weird soup, and I ordered the spicy chicken. Both were affordable, and my chicken was especially tasty. The supermarket, on the other hand, was a little too congested. The layout isnt user friendly. And they didnt have any boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Grrr.
So many goodies....Some items are overprized...Other items cannot be found elsewhere...Very unique place.
My favorite Korean grocery store in town, it’s got a nice & big parking lot and aisles, lots of little restaurant stalls in the front. Great premade items and kimchee variety. If you are looking for something they will have it!
Good prices on imported and store-made korean products stacked floor to ceiling and wall to wall. moon pies, instant, fresh, and dried noodles, a good selection of fresh vegetables, of course lots of tofu, kim chee, rice cake, and to top it off: a shopping arcade with k-pop store, boba cafe, sushi, and mini food court.
Great Korean supermarket. Fantastic produce selection, and a great selection of other foods as well! I always enjoy shopping here.
My rental car got broken into in the Greenland Supermarket parking lot. I asked their security and managers for a phone number to call the police, and no one would help me. No one had a phone number to call the police. Terrible service.
Great variety. Fresh seafood is awesome. Nice to be able to pick up everything you might need in one trip
I usually come here to buy instant Korean ramen and prepared foods. There is also a food court with a variety of Korean food to choose from. They also sell appliances such as rice cookers, Korean BBQ grills, pots, pans, etc. The store is also very clean and conveniently located. Not very many Korean markets in Las Vegas so you really dont have much of a choice for your Korean food needs. Not that this place is lacking either. I will be back again.
My favorite place for Korean imported ramen and related products. Its just my opinion. There maybe prettier or more convenient shops, but I havent found others yet. But for Chinese or Japanese products, other options are possible.
Good local one stop market for groceries and quick eat at food court.
I gave four stars because I loved Korean Banchan(side dishes) place inside this grocery(not food court). All dishes, actually except Kimbap, from there delicious and it tastes like my mom made, which is truly home made foods to me. All ingredients were fresh and the cook(owner?) was not stingy about ingredients to make banchan, especially sesame oil. Another, they were very honest about labelling and display the foods. One day old dishes were separated from the dishes made on that day. I havent observed this in other asian groceries. It is perfect place to go when you are tired a big meal from restaurants and experience Korean home made dishes.
This establishment started off great but lately theyve been failing. The customer service there is nearly non existing and when you do ask an employee for something they act like Ive asked them to set themselves on fire. The produce is both nearly rotten and way over priced and their deli food is nowhere near where authentic Korean food should be. If youre going to charge so much for everything, the least they can do is sell a quality product, which they unashamedly do not. My wife and I have been loyal customers since its opening but we cannot bring ourselves to shop there any more until they improve.
The store is clean, but its a little crowded and a bit expensive. There are a few specialty items and the quality is really good, so the price can be overlooked somewhat. The quality of the cuts is definitely better, clearly visible, not in appearance and in price. The restaurants in the food court have great food, very well made and good presentation as well.Definitely check it out if you have a chance.Pick up some instant noodles at least and some quality sesame oil.
Compare to other big korean market like H-mart, this one is not well organized and small. However, you can get the korean stuff here.
For all my Islanders and Asians out there visiting Vegas. This is a good spot to stop by, they have a grocery store to load up on Asian snacks and bunch of mini shops that the kids liked, BTS, anime and other toys/trinkets. Theres a lot of restaurants to fill your belly as well Hawaiian, Korean bbq, hotpot, Chinese, Filipino etc.
I enjoy going because they a little bit of everything korean there. Food is great at the food court. Love getting a drink at the bbear Cafe. Theres a grocery store there too. A little k-pop store. A bakery with reasonable price baked goods. They have even a womens clothing store there. That if you hit there sales their prices are reasonable. All the people there are so friendly.
Love Greenland, I can get all my Asian/Hawaiian foods here! Customer service lacking but if you know what youre looking for, theyve got it!
Great location but limited selection of things like bagged coffee, certain snacks and other things. It is big but not as big on the inside. A lot of square footage is taken up by little shops before you actually enter the market.
Has most of the thing you would look for in a Korean market. Kimchi selection was limited (perhaps timing?) The vegetables aren’t the greatest quality though so -1 star.
I love coming here, they have everything from left over hot food in the back before they close, legit food court, clothes bargain, korean/asian snacks.. And moat importantly.. That Korean skin car. Okurrr!!!
I only come here to eat at the food court not to shop at the grocery store. I love the Korean food here. I always order Bulgogi combo starts at $15.99 and it comes with rice, 3 appetizers, glass noodle and tofu soup. Its my favorite. There are plenty of other dishes from Japanese, Hawaiian, Vietnamese and other foods to choose from here. Ive only been coming here since January 2021 since my family introduced it to me.
I like it but they need to stock up more fresh fruits.
Greenland was overall an amazing experience until I visited the bakery shop. Lady seemed very kind at first, but her real character started to show when she aggressively closed the cash register after seeing one dollar coins being paid. Doesnt appreciate the one dollar coin currency, how ridiculous. Never going back again.
First time here. I went to get some noodles and dried seaweed. Lots of neat stuff there.
Expensive and their produce leaves much to be desired.
Great store, at the entrance there is a Korean plaza with lots of different small shops, the complex and the grocery store itself are incredibly crowded, the grocery store has many hard to find products that I really enjoy, however there is no such thing as social distancing at this place, nobody here even understands that concept.... so if you want your space and dont like people getting in your face.. do not come here .
Excellent selection of Korean and other Asian foods. Good selection of fresh vegetables. Packaged fresh beef and other foods ready for Korean BBQ at home. Asian drinks and snacks.
Love coming to this place. The Spanish speaking employees make it easier to shop.
The best Korean market in Vegas. My Korean wife and Korean mother-in-law can vouch. Kimchi here is on point, but so is the kimchi from Costco.
I went here for a friend to find some things. I have never been to a Korean market before and was very surprised. They have a food court inside, fashion, health, fresh meats, and also a bakery at this place. The market has great variety and selection as well as produce. I will definitely be coming here again for future needs and to try some fresh meat and produce here. I also am going to try some of their snacks and chips. I dont speak Korean but the people were friendly at the store
We stop here every visit for shopping of all oriental foods. Its like going to the zoo. So much to see and try.
Always a good value with superior selection. Need a gallon or two of kimchi? No problem. Looking for some fresh mackerel? They have you covered.
I have been going here since it opened and for the most part it has remained the same. The grocery part of it carries a lot of Korean staples but there are some items that are consistently out of stock. The food that is prepped in the store ( jjapchae, banchan, etc) is pretty good but a bit pricey. Outside of the grocery area is a food court. You can find yummy Korean food there but dont be surprised if the vendors there change often. The LEpidor bakery has an area where you can get yummy Korean pastries and snacks. There are also small shops to browse. I like the shop with the K- beauty products. Overall, I do enjoy going there but my only gripe is that the bathrooms need to be tended better and some areas are too cramped.
Greenland Supermarket has a great selection of produce and is a great place to buy oriental meals and ingredients. Although the staff is not all of that nice, especially if you are a person of color. If you are a noticeably a person of color you should save your hard working money and spend elsewhere. I come here quite often, and I have seen on multiple occasions how the staff has treated me, a person of color to someone who was Caucasian or Asian. for example my most recent experience, I had come in got what I needed, and stood in line. The people in front of me was a lovely Caucasian couple. The cash register worker was very polite to them, asked how their day was, and when they left she said thank you have a great day. When it was my turn to ring out she said nothing to me but give me an ugly look. once she finished ringing me up, she said my price in such a low monotone uninterested way. When I inserted my card and finished she threw my bag at me and that was it, I left the store feeling really upset. It makes me never want to spend a dime in this place ever again. Its 2020 and business es and corporations, should have way better discrimination policies then what they seem to currently have. People should not be treated differently, because of something they can not control, specific culture store or not.
Finally got to visit this place! Quite similar to H-Mart from Niles, Illinois or Edison, New Jersey.Closest you can get to a decently stocked Korean grocery store
Great products, however they need better sanitation. The prices are a little bit too high.
Full stock of anything Oriental, store ( market) looks clean.
Good place for hang around.
Some employees are not friendly. Wish I could get product information easier.
C+ facility. For sure, if you want Korean ingredients (among other Asian foods), this is the place to go in Las Vegas. But dated.
This place is really dirty. Parking is usually a issue and it appears they lack any true security. The employees were avoidant. Lots of yummy stuff if your hungry and has a good selection of gifts as well as household goods. No place for dogs. No public restrooms.
If your into korean food this is the place!!! Little expensive on the side but overall good!!! Also good quality seafood!! And the Deli food are treat!!!!
I love coming here for the ready-to-pick-up bulgogi that I can take home and cook myself! Grab that and a few side dishes! DELICIOUS! I also love their home goods selection, and their SEAWEED selection! Dont miss out on the japanese snacks and cookies they have... ^_^
Great selection of Korean and other Asian foods. The shelves are well stocked, the store is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient.
Great for all Asian food
I love that they have a anime shop inside the Market
Price is a little more expensive than the other Asian stores. I give 4 stars for being fully stocked on Korean merchandise.
Best Asian supermarket Ive ever been has everything and some
Amazing little market. Love going here
Greenland market is amazing. Good food, good haircut place, good groceries, and good bakery. Everything is great
My favorite korean supermarket! I always go here for all my asian grocerie needs. They have kimbap and pancake which is my favorite! Also all kinds of kimchi and other banchan (side dishes) are available. Food court located inside. Come and take a look and see for yourself! 🙂
Nice staffs are here. Good services.
Alot of asian items.
Price is over the roof 😁 I like to shop here for meat and other Asian goodies but prices are too steep for me
Kids love the kpop store. We had a playday and met up, its awesome for the kids.
Korean groceryWe love korean food! We love it so much that we got an indoor grill for KBBQ nights at home. This is the place where we get our meat for some korean bbq. They have marinated bulgogi meat by the pound. Greenland Supermarket also got you covered on the banchan (side dish). Cucumber salad, kimchi, side veggies, you name it and usually they have it. I bought the spicy ramen here too (the one they use for the spicy noodle challenge). Dont forget the asian snacks, theres plenty of that here. If you get hungry from buying groceries, theres a food court inside the supermarket and a small bakery too.
Love this Korean. I can find everything in there need. Plus the food you can eat in the front entrance!!
Sexy korean gals come here
If you need any type of korean ingredients for cooking, this is THE place to go. Good selection of produce, in house made kimchi, different fresh made salads and side dishes, marinated meats, etc. I honestly used to go to like 3 different sites to get all the stuff just to make one dish, but this is the spot to go now. They have a cool little food court and theres a nice older lady on the left side of the entrance that brings fresh rice cakes. Just keep on mind that their main focus is korean food, so they may or may not have things that would could find in a more generalized grocery store. IF YOURE HUNGRY when you show up, get a pack of their kimbap in the back, I promise. They make them fresh every day and you get a pack of two rolls for like 7 bucks. I thought I was the only one, but a few of my buddies made a tradition of getting a pack for the way home as well!
The only Korean Supermarket in Las Vegas so they get my support 😁 Besides groceries they also have a food court and some shops for clothing, toys, & DVD’s. I’d have given 5-stars if the staff were nicer.
It was ok. Didnt have what I needed. And somebodys car window got smashed.
I think its the only korean grocery store in Las Vegas. They have in the building a fast food..a boutique..a beauty bar..bakeshop and a boba place.. i love it... they have the korean fried chicken..if you want some bibimbap and tofu stew. And all you need for at home korean bbq and hotpot you can get here.
If you visit Las Vegas, try to stop by this market. It is only 10 min away from Vegas Strip. Food courts offers great foods, buy some stuffs you need. Very reasonable prices.
Great selection, fair prices, ok staff.
I love the food court & grocery store! My nieces love the k-pop store! Great time had by all!
My family and I have so many memories here! Love the food court!
For Asian grocery perfect store. You can find most Asian countries Grocery.
Milki drinks are the bomb peach is amazing the banana one taste like banana runts.
Worth a visit.
Great clean place to shop for korean goods but does get pretty pricey if you buy too many things.
Love this market and its connected food court. Excellent selection and delicious take home options.
Always come here for frozen dumplings and yuzu tea
