Honest truth! We may be back when the time is right. We purchased a rain soft system from home water solutions on 6/28/21.I was hard pressed to reach a consensus about rain soft and its services after looking into reviews and the water softener industry. It seems to be 50/50 1 star or 5 star reviews out there. There are so many horror stories out there it definitely scared us.However, I do have to say we were treated kindly, and with the upmost respect from Ross the manager, Jacob the salesman, and the installer during the entire process. We only had the system for a few days, so it is hard to speak to the long term quality but I will admit we did notice an immediate improvement in our skin and hair as advertised.We are finishing our basement and ultimately decided to return the system because it didn’t fit our current budget with all of the other projects going on. I didn’t know how the call to cancel was going be with the stories that I have read, but even in the return Ross treated us with respect and ultimately accepted our decision to return the system.It seems like your rain soft experience relies completely upon on who your local authorized dealer is. We are set to have the system picked up tomorrow at 9am barring any setbacks this will complete our transaction with hws for the time being. I will have to say from our experience Home Water Solutions has operated with integrity and I would recommend this particular dealer for rain soft products which operates within Northern Colorado.I do have to take one star because of the survey and water test we accepted in Home Depot, lacks some transparency that they will be connected to a sales pitch, but overall our experience here was positive.*update the return went smooth and I was treated with the same kindness From beginning to end. For those researching these products and home water solutions I hope this review helps. Overall the current team intact was great to work with.

After leaving an unsavory review they called me and made it right. It was so nice to know that they care.There salesmen and customer service reps are great and im very impressed by their follow up.The products itself are within the same range as other companies. When I have the extra income I may even reach out to them for services due to their great customer service!

They sent a guy all the way down to our house just south of the springs, he was unsure of how to help us so he arranged for their master plumber to come out and give us a consult. Both meetings were free to us. After a solution was agreed upon they sent out another guy who listened to how we were taken advantage of by a similar company in South Carolina, he charged us for 2 hours but spent 6 working, cutting and crawling through our crawl space. We felt incredibly comfortable with how he interacted with our nosy kids and continued to make every effort to keep us informed as to what he was doing and helped us understand our system. We experienced much better customer service then the company we previously worked with in Columbia, SC.

Jeremy was very professional, quick, and thorough. We found out our water heater is at the end of it’s life and he worked with us to find a suitable replacement. He made the whole process of purchasing and scheduling installation of a new one easy.

I bought this system 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems with it. It has not cleaned up the water. The sales lady told me I would have no more hard water stains. That was a lie. I have had them out several time to look at the system and they have never been able to fix it. I had three other water companies come out and they all told me the same thing, The system is not sized right for the well pump. I have left several messages with Home water solutions and they never call back. The only way I got them to call me back was to call Rainsoft direct and complain. Then they called. I told them to give me half of my money back and come and get the equipment. They have refused. They offered me another system but it is too late as I have purchased a system from another water company and it works great. This company is a joke. They are very attentive to you until they get your 10,000 dollars and then they will not even call you back. Twice a technician came out and smelled of alcohol and was obviously drunk. Dont let them kid you you can purchase a system much cheaper than the one they have and it actually works. I gave them 1 star because it will not let you give them zero.

The technician who came to do my yearly filter change was efficient, very friendly, and knew what he was doing. I love the water filter for our kitchen sink. Its much better tasting water and so much healthier. Love this company.

Really pushy sales tactic. Makes you feel in Home Depot like you are just doing a survey, but really they want your info so that they can gain access to your home for a 3 hour sales pitch. While Geoff seemed like an awesome guy, its shady that this company is making their workers hound people to buy a water system on the spot. We had our test rescheduled at the last minute 3 times (once was 15 minutes before our scheduled time), and were told we would be upgraded to a $50 Amazon gift card to make up for the trouble. We didnt get any sort of upgraded card, just the basic $40 Home Depot card we originally were offered as a couple.Would not recommend this company. It feels like a multi-level marketing scam from the get-go.

We recently move to CO from TX and brought with us our Rain Soft water softener. We requested the install be completed by Home Water Solutions. Jaydon, our service tech, was very professional. Jaydon explained his plan for installing the water softener and was very helpful with suggesting how to proceed when it was discovered we were missing parts that probably went missing during our move. Jaydon also ensured we understood everything he did with the install and that we were satisfied before leaving.

The technician was prompt, friendly and thorough. He explained the problem and there was no pressure.

We bought a house with rain soft water treatment equipment in it. Home Water Solutions took over the service seamlessly from the old owners. We needed a new water heater and some service on the RO system. Excellent customer service and incredible looking work. Jaydon was 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Home Water Solutions provides excellent drinking water and has definitely reduced the cost of cleaning supplies in my home. Their technicians are professional, informative, and clean up the area where they have worked when they are done. I am very happy with my whole house water filtration system and the reverse osmosis drinking water filtration system. I recommend home water solutions for your water filtration needs.

A bait and switch - steer clear of this “service”. Reached out to them to get a well water test for a refinance requirement and said they could absolutely provide that service. Once in our home- became a VERY heavy handed sales push with the water tech having to call his boss 2 times to update on why we weren’t buying any of their product- we were so uncomfortable for Him! We just wanted a water test to submit to our mortgage company. The “test results” were finally sent in an email, with no identification of the company or our address just this info pasted in the email and that’s it Hardness- 0Chlorine-0Iron-0Ph-7Tds-328Our mortgage company, of course, will not accept this shoddy and extremely unprofessional and incomplete report. Emails and phone calls have been left unanswered but they sure did call 2 times a day and sent recording reminders prior to the visit to be sure we were going to receive them to get what we now know is a 100% sales-athon. Home Depot should be disappointed in their choice of partners. Never again.

Ryan r took care of our 6 month maintenance call. Very professional and courteous. Resolved issues and replaced nonworking parts. Demonstrated they were working with correct pressure. Highly recommend!

What a cool thing to get the water test, our minds were blown! It was actually a fun experience too, Nick Anderson came to our house and pulled out his lab kit and it was interesting and educational. I love that there was no high pressure sales aspect of this which actually makes me want to consider using the company even more. We were able to get all our options and seriously think about if getting a water system is in our budget and which option makes the most sense while simultaneously not getting stuck with buyers remorse. Good job providing a cool service, supporting healthier environmental practices, and respecting a large purchase like this as such. Five Stars!

We live in the country and our water comes from a well. We had no idea how poor the water quality was until Home Water Solutions came and tested it. Every experience from that first time until now, the final inspection of our new water treatment system, has been extremely positive. Dont get me wrong, there have been problems, which is to be expected at a property like ours, but they have taken care of everything and stuck to the original estimate. The customer service is top notch and the difference in our water quality is night and day. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

We had Lucas p. for our presentation and was surprised at how dirty our water is. We are, however, in the mountain area. I understand that water is that way no matter where you live. Flint Michigan can certainly use it, i sure. Unfortunately, we are not in the position to pay out that much money, and we would still need to find a convenient place to put the item.

They made the annual service appointment as soon as the stay-at-home order started, so that they could be sure to get our system serviced without delay. The guy that serviced our system didnt only address, and acknowledge my husband like most men that work on our house do, he also spoke to me, and had polite manners.

Pablo came out and went through the water test with us. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing and why the results were the way they were. He was friendly, courteous and definitely knew what he was talking about. Justin did a great job with the demonstration, and was very knowledgeable. He is very intelligent, and should be doing something other than sales. We give him 5 stars!!!However,1. We were told the process would last up to an hour, and he was here for 2 hours.2. The reason we signed up for this was because we were told ( more than once by the company) that they would test for bacteria...they do not.3. At our age we would never recoup the cost.4. And lastly, they pull the “let me call my manager” ploy to give you the price. Like buying a car. And as suspected, if you don’t buy today, it will cost you thousands more tomorrow.....The 2 hours was not worth the $20 coupon to Home Depot he gave us. I give the company’s ploys a 1.

They were wonderful to work with! Very informative about their processes and how it cleans the water. They also have a local store so it’s not just a service you call and they send out the product. We are moving soon and we will definitely consider this for our new home when that time comes.

Nick came out and did the scientific testing on our water system. Very knowledgeable guy; friendly and professional. Asked him lots of questions and he answered most; the couple he didnt know, he called straight to the company to get us answers. He laid out all options we could do but wasnt typical salesperson pushy. He let us mull over the pros and cons of purchasing immediately to purchasing later. Robin from Rain soft came out to our home to test our water. He was very friendly and informative on the condition of our water. I just moved into Brighton Colorado from Thornton Colorado. I did have a water purification system in my old house, but not like this one. The EC5 with the reverse osmosis drinking water system has cleared my water so that it tastes great. The system was installed the next day as promised. They are a great company to do business with! Installation team was great! Highly recommend to anyone who is concerned about their water!Jeremy from rain soft was our installer. He was extremely knowledgeable on installation and went above and beyond to hook everything up and to accommodate our special request. He always had I can do it attitude and made the whole process of the installation completed perfectly.

Both Sydney and Dalton were very friendly. Sydney did a great job with her presentation and made us really want this system. She seemed determined to get us clean water if only for our own health, even working with the loan companies for us to be able to get it. She was a pleasure to have in our home and would welcome her back in any time.Dalton did a great job installing the water purifier. He did the job in good time, even with a couple trips to Home Depot to get parts to install the system properly.They both did fantastic jobs!!!

It was better than other company Reps (not from Home Water Solutions) who have come by in the past and spent HOURS trying to sell their services. Got a phone call a few days later after doing a home depot water survey. Im sure you all are aware them being at home depot. Overall I actually enjoyed the team showing up st home and learning about local and general water treatment status. I wasnt real sure at first just because of all the scam hype in todays world, but these guys are ligget and they are out there doing their job just like the rest of us. Lucas made the presentation fun and is very knowledgeable in his field. Again, very positive group of individuals and very polite. Today that matters more than ever! The contractor Blaine, was awesome. His work was great. He was very nice and tolerant of my curious two year old. I would give him five stars. But the company is lacking, it would have been nice when I called, to have been informed that it would cost $250 to uninstall the equipment. Money we don’t have when we’re in the middle of moving. Super expensive for a job that can be done on your own. At least warn people before you send a contractor out.

Lonnie M was our installation tech...showed up on time, explained the work to be performed and got to it. He was very personable, and knowledgeable. We ran into some issues with the buildings plumbing system and he was able to get it all up and running without missing a beat. So far, we are very pleased with the Home Water Solutions system and would recommend them without hesitation.

Had the system 1.5 year, works great. The tech came out and did a inspection at my request (usually every 2 years). Went through everything,answered all my questions,showed me all the screens and then had me (drive) through all the screens that showed me the information I wanted to know. The last comment the had as he was leaving was, call anytime for anything were there for you. Great Job!!!!!

The water analysis demo was interesting, bordering on entertaining. The technician was very respectful, personable and informative. Several types of water quality issues were raised over the course of 50 minutes. The session did not become a high pressure, arm twisting exercise.However, speaking as a person with a science background, while the various demonstrations did seem to suggest the potential for achieving better water quality, generally there was not really any way for us to objectively evaluate, in the moment, the actual chemistry or validity of the particular water quality tests performed. My gut feeling is that a bit of skepticism might be in order.

Jeremy was wonderful to deal with. Would definitely have proceeded but not financially viable for us at this time. Jeremy was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable we were definitely impressed. He was also fun to listen to. A definite asset to your company!

We haven’t bought the system but Lori was amazing, kind and very informative. She was open to questions and wasn’t pushy or rude. She was willing to try new things, and was honest with us. And that means a lot ! But The product sells it self, clean water period. The presentation is long but it makes sense. The lady on the phone did say it would take a couple hours, So we expected it. But overalll we had a good time.

It was a breath of fresh air working with Charlie regarding our home water evaluation. day in and day out I work along side sales personell within the construction industry and Charlie was both accurate and honest, a rare quality these days. Personally, I own a hot tub and am very familiar with the water testing procedures used for assessment. Charlie was able to quickly perform the same types of testing while also able to explain the impacts of the results and how best to mitigate against long term adverse effects. I would highly recommend use of both Rain Soft and Charlie for any one seeking additional information regarding their own water quality scenarios.

Ill admit, my wife and I were a little skeptical about the system at first. After a few months we really started noticing a difference in our drinking water, its amazing what this system does. Excellent Liquid Soap Products that go along with, super efficient and affordable. Great customer service and personnel.

The company has a wonderful product, versatility in its application and with a very user friendly interface. Any of their products come with an above average warranty and a local office location to help you with any more technical or time sensitive questions. The system has changed many aspects of home life for my family, for the water tastes better (even with the wonderful Rocky Mountain reputation), my wifes skin is healthier and I am able to use less cleaning products when doing dishes and laundry. I would suggest to anyone to have a representative come out and preform a free testing of your water.

Absolutely horrible customer service! A few months back, our system kept having an alarm go off. After making an appointment, Dillon forgot to put us on the schedule that day. After waiting until the end of my appointment window to call him and check he started making excuses about how, even though his fault, couldn’t get us scheduled for several more weeks. His supervisor called and was able to get some one out the next day.On New Year’s Day, I noticed the drain for the softener constantly draining when it shouldn’t have been. I turned the bypasses, only to have all four valves start leaking several gallons a minute into the basement. I had to figure out a solution for the night, then the next day, due to NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, had to cut the the RainSoft plumbing out of my house completely to stop the leak.I call and am told to “turn the bypass” even after explaining everything and a plumber wasn’t available for a few weeks. No big deal, leak had been taken care of. I had to cancel that appointment due to work needs, but rescheduled.Dillon calls me the morning of, and says the plumber is sick. I understand people get sick, don’t tell me we have to reschedule for a few more weeks out. Figure a solution. I’m sure the plumbers and techs are great. Dillon is absolutely horrible to deal with. I know we have an old system and would most likely have needed new equipment, but now we will go to Culligan. Better customer service on the phone and 24/7 services for when your system is leaking all over.

These guys did a great job installing my water treatment system. They were courteous and the plumbing they did looks clean and fits nicely in the available space. However their notification e-mails about the team as well as info regarding my purchase agreement are slow in coming and often late.

All the way from the sales representative, the installer and the master plumber who came to make sure everything was in working order, they were professional, courteous and respectful being in our home. All 3 three were knowledgeable and explained all aspects of the system to both my husband and I. Our experience with this company has been easy with no stress.The web site for the detergents was a little rough until I got used to it. The people who prepared the order were also nice.My husband and I really feel like we invested in our future both with health and environmental responsibilities.We are pleased with our purchase and want others to just schedule a time where the system can be presented. Its fascinating and serious at the same time.

The best investment we could of made. The system has provided us with great drinking water and our laundry comes out so soft and cleaner. If you have the opportunity to have this system it will pay for it self.

Pablo came to do our water demonstration and was super friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful! Unfortunately, we aren’t the type of people that can make big money decisions so quickly, so we had to pass on his great offers for now, but we are definitely interested in the system! Great job! Fun experience!

The water test was very eye opening. We had no idea that the water is as bad as it is. We also didn’t know there was going to be a sales pitch at the end of it. We were told that someone was going to come out and test the water and it would take about 45 minutes to an hour and that after the test they would leave us with the information and the $20 gift card for participating. We started around 6:30 and we weren’t done until almost 9:30. It took way longer than expected. The employee was great at explaining everything and showing us the results of the test, though we felt very pressured to buy the system. We also never received the $20 gift card?

Nick did a great job explaining every part of the water testing process and was also very professional. He was patient and made sure every question was answered. Thank you again for taking the time.

The Customer Service Representative (Robin) and Installers (Dalton & another) did an excellent job helping us improve our new homes water quality. Everyone was interactive and helpful, and we are exceptionally happy with the system and installation. They explained the systems to us clearly and understandably, how the systems work, what we need to monitor, and the required maintenance for each system. They were friendly and upbeat, informative, and professional. Thank you for an exceptional experience!

We are so very thrilled to have this system in our house. We have only had it for four days and we can already see a huge difference in how our water taste smells and looks. The representative who came to our house was well informed and courteous. The installer was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be recommending this to everyone we know we have already had one of our friends have one installed the day after we got it. Thank you rainsoft.

I was amazed when I learned about our tap water. I knew I had wanted a whole house filter but didnt realize that this system would be so much better. I wish the process of showing us all the tests didnt take so long. But it was somewhat entertaining. if you purchase they come out the very next day and install which is great. the installers were very courteous.

The system is very good and I have enjoyed the clean water. Everyone I worked with was very congenial. The problem was with their follow-through and being straight with me on what they were going to do. There was an accident during installation of the drinking water filter and my kitchen was flooded. It took 5 months to get anything done on the damage and the non-functioning system. There were a lot of excuses and a lot of promises that never resulted in any action. Calls were not returned and visits were no-show. I accept that mistakes happen, but what I judge performance on is what happens next and that is where this company fell short. I went from surprise to frustration to anger to resignation during those 5 months. It still has not been made whole but I am tired of having to spend so much time on it. It appears that things have changed there and that they are on a better path but I remain somewhat skeptical - well see how the follow-through goes now.

Great sales and installation team! Couldn’t be happier with the service we received and love our clean, alkaline water dispenser, the purification system and washing machine filter.We have noticed great results from the better quality water the system provides.

Pablo did a very great job. Very polite, funny, and honest. While we did not buy the system they were selling we had a very great time to learning about it and watching all the sciency stuff happen in our kitchen. I highly recommend that you have dinner made at the start and treat it like a dinner theater.

Amazing company.. professional team. Very informative! Tanner was exceptional in the water quality test and providing us with solutions. If only we knew long ago how bad the water we are drinking was. Definitely going to purchase their products!

The whole presentation went much longer than expected, 2.5 hours regardless that it went through dinner time and my childs bed bedtime. There was some useful information but when asked questions the presenter was only somewhat knowledgeable on things outside the scope of the presentation. Annette herself was super nice and very friendly. There were some bumps in trying to get the system that we did buy; which after talking to spouse was just way too over priced, returned. 3 stars because the products are overpriced and our bumps though the flexibility of customer service is very good.This is an edit from an earlier post after being asked to change it.
