The best place EVER! FAMILY FRIENDLY FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED! GREAT PLACE TO FISH AND RELAX AND HAVE FUN!!! Also bait shop has some pretty nice poles and accessories! Bait shop also has great food! I love the people their best people you will ever meet!

Nice clean place, brought the family there today. Wasn’t there long but caught a cat and had another on the line. Saw 6 fish in three hours during mid day fishing. I’ll definitely be back. Daughter had a blast reeling in her fish !!

Went the first time this past week. Caught a really big cat fish and a few other fish the people were very nice and happy to help. They were also cleaning around the lake when we were there it appears that they take good care of the area.

Cedar lake is a Fishing pay lake that stocks trout during the cool spring months and also channel, blue and shovel catfish throughout the year. They have cash lotteries for the biggest catfish of the day, first cat, etc. The BIG cats belong to the lake and are catch and release after weighing them.There are contests for different fishing rodsets and other items also.The channel catfish and trout are catch and keep. Entry is $20/per adult with a two rod limit. Im not sure but I think 3 or 4 trout is the limit per ticket and then another $20 has to be paid which is the only gripe many of us have.They have, bait (USUALLY but not always), lures, snacks and soft drinks. Everything is overpriced compared to Walmart or Lake Isabella, which is where many people get their supplies before going to Cedar. Cedar lakes main attraction is that you can drive your vehicle around most of the lake so that its nearby.On Saturday April 6, 2019 I caught a blue catfish weighing 16 pounds and 10 ounces on a chartreuse Road runner jig with a chartreuse/white rubber shad body on 6 pound test line while fishing for crappie! DEFINITELY a surprise!I never would have caught it if not for my best friend and fishing Mentor Antonio who netted the beast.

Its alright. People have the tendencies to cross lines and not obey the rules during a hog jar or tournament. Id prefer fishing literally anywhere else

Great caught three Catfish

Ive been fishing there for over 30 years, we always catch nice fish. There will always be trips you only catch a couple, but most of the time leave happy. Nice bait house with a decent selection of live bait, about any tackle you might need. They have a nice selection of new rods reels, also a case with used reels. They also have inside bathroom, kitchen with hot food, snacks, drinks. Family friendly of course crowded at times.

Highly recommend. Plenty of fish,clean nice selection of bait and tackle. Family that runs it are good people. Go wet a line and relax. MAGA 2020

I most always catch fish here.. very few skunks. And alot of times catch fish over 25-30 lbs. Its not easy but if you get onem you can put on a clinic

Neighbors to the lake. Know the owners/crew who works there. Great people. They do a great job maintaining their reputation and the image of their beautiful lake. Always busy, and they do a lot of things to keep the interest. I never see a slow day at cedar lake! They respect everyone who lives around this place and keep the problematic people out. Im glad to have them in our backyard!

I caught fish had a fun time!! Wish the grill stayed open a little later but no complaints everyone needs rest!!! Would recommend to anyone who loves fishing

Very well stocked with fish and it’s a great place to relax and have sum fishing fun! Tickets are $20 which are a little over priced but it’s worth it !

Nice clean place and friendly staff....but fished for 6 hrs and i didnt even see any one there get a bite. Maybe it was just an off day...idk....but wasnt worth the money to me.

Called ahead to ask for details and told employee I was from out of town. She told me I could catch trout, channels, blues, and flatheads. After the 30 minute drive, she tells me it’s only trout season. Thanks.
