My prop had a bunch of fishing line it and I was sure it trashed the prop seal. Drove my boat up from Denver and while I was dropping it off the guys asked me what was wrong, I showed them and they immediately took the the prop off and unwound on the fishing line. They also Inspected the prop shaft seal and confirmed it was still in good shape.If I would have went anywhere else within a 200 mile radius my boat would have set for a minimum of 3 weeks before someone could have looked at itThank you for taking care of me, and for your fast and honest work.You have definitely earned a new customer. You guys rock!!!

Worst marine shop I have ever deal with. A 3 hour repair to put in 3 carb kits took them 4 1/2 hours. First shop to ever charge a separate Diagnostic Charge that is not applied to the repair. I spent $974 total for 3 carb kits that did not do anything to help with my hard to start problem I brought my boat in for. Then I learn they didnt even know they should have put high altitude carb kits in because of the altitude here. Then they refuse to do anything further without being paid more. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves and how much trouble you put me through. I have owned my boat for 19 years and have had carb kits put in it before that worked. Something obviously is wrong, either you guys misdiagnosed my problem or the sea level carb kits didnt work. Either way I am out $974 and nothing changed bringing it here to you.To their response: If you would have known to begin with boats here need high altitude kits and told me none were available, do I want to try the other ones before attempting such a huge repair I could understand. But now I am out $974 on what you thought would work. My overall experience was horrible all the way around. Got there and was asked to park my boat into a really tight parking spot. Picked up my boat to see it was parked a foot from the next trailer. Then get home and my tilt motor wont go down cause it was not left the way it was found. Also noticed the only certified Marine Tech is Henry but he didnt do the work someone else did.

Wow I really don’t know where to start first of all I asked them to get my Honda 25 hp running which it was already but it wouldn’t get up to speed ask Jennifer to give me updates which he never did in two months next thing I knew she called me and told me it’s gonna be a little bit more than we anticipated I specifically asked him or her to give me updates so I can know how much I could spend I called her at least once a week in two months and all she ever said was waiting for parts I’ve been asked them if they had sold the motor because I have felt they were being shady which they were $2000 to put gaskets on the carBs Oil change and an impeller I asked him why so much he looked at the bill and he said he double charge me for the carburetor gasket 500 bucks theydropped it down to 1500 which I paid brought it home Put it on the water and does it run at all keep away from that shady place I got stuck big time

I have used HJ Marine for several of my boat problems/issues including a motor replacement. I have a 2005 bayliner 175 and most of the front range boat shops will not work on it because of the age. I needed a lower unit replacement and he had it done in two days. Henry is extremely knowledgeable of the work he is doing. All of the work has been completed efficiently and affordable. Im hoping my boat doesnt give me anymore issues this summer but in the event that it does I know exactly where Ill be taking it!

HJ Marine has been a total pleasure to work with. Not only do they store my boat but they also work on it. They did the winterization for it, the summerization, and the last service. They have been very honest about what the boat has needed. As this spring came around I hired them to do a detail on it. Coming off of the fires of last year, it was covered in ash and grime, and they got it looking great. After that I hired them to install a new set of batteries, a charging system, re wire my trolling motor, and clean up the electrical system. We are now working on installing all new lighting for the boat and they have worked hand in hand with me every step of the way to design it and make sure my expectations are being met. They have worked with me on the customizations that I have been wanting and have helped to bring my plans to a realization. I would recommend their service and shop with confidence due to the experience that I have had with them. It has been a pleasure.

I took my boat to HJ Marine, he had my boat with him all summer of 2020. What I was mostly frustrated about was how he gave empty promises for months. Finally picked up my boat after he gave up, dropped it off with him running and picked it up not running. I also noticed I now had broken seat, broken trailer jack and boat motor parts laying under the seat with a water ski rope I have no idea where it came from. I hate leaving a poor review but it has weighed on me for months. I know Henry did try his best and failed to find the problem, I’m ok with that. The empty promises and overconfident attitude combined with lack of performance is what I haven’t forgot.

Over priced tried to charged me 350 to replace a wheel bearing no hub less than a hour labor including cutting the races off.. and I had to go get a pay for the parts seperate and he still didnt have what was needed to complete the job he knew I was in a bind and took avantage. and then put a his huge sticker on the back of my boat with out asking . nice guy I just feel he over charged me a lot.
