Such an awesome has everything store. They even have a few isles of Army, Navy surplus. Employees where helpful when needed. They also have an American flag retirement box out front. The local VFW picks them up and disposes of them properly.

Best customer service I have ever experienced from any store. Nick (Loveland CO store) was extremely helpful in resolving an issue I had with a faulty Yakima product. I was not familiar with JAX stores until I recently moved to Colorado, but will put them at the top of my list of best stores to shop.

Jax is an outdoor enthusiast store, they sell outdoor gear and hunting supplies! But they dont want open carry in the store. Im not grandstanding,I believe in protection in the current times. I give 1 star.

Great selection of almost anything you will need outdoors! We went there to see if they had goat food and they did, also some minerals and treats for the goats! Friendly staff, they knew where their products were and brought me straight over to what I was looking for!

The people there were rude completely unhelpful. I brought back a collar we had for less than a week with the receipt because it broke, the manager snottily said they cant give even store credit or anything and then 3 of them stood around laughing at my irritation over their failure to stand behind their products. Go to another location if you dont want the headache.

Amazing store with a huge variety of goods from pet supplies to chainsaws, to heaters, to the north face and Patagonia clothing, pots and pans and everything between. I always go here to full my propane tanks and could spend hours wandering the shelf looking at all the amazing products. Especially the military surplus and hardware sections!

My husband and I went into Jax to see about a replacement pole for our tent. We bought our tent in Texas and on our first night of camping one of the poles broke. Even though they didnt have anything in store that we needed, the sales associates that were helping us were amazing about giving us ideas on places to get a new pole.

Both their Loveland Businesses one by Sams Club and the one at the old KMart Shopping Center are great places. If your looking for propane Coleman gas cannisters you can only find them at the Jaxs next to Sams Club. Different variety at both stores. Love their stores.

Its OK, but when they relocated they got rid of 90% of their military surplus items. I used to visit often just to look at what they had and usually spent money elsewhere in the store as well. Not much reason to go now. Theres a lot of old dudes in this town that did the same.

I went to Jax specifically for a support the blue American flag. They have been out for a while when I asked an employee about it I was told that the owner has quit purchasing those products. I truly hope that they bring back the support the blue merchandise.

Price on shelf was different from what rang up. Just pay attention to what youre charged.

Great store. Its like an Ace hardware meets an high end outdoor clothing store and add in a sprinkle of the best of REI and a dash of a cooking store.

I paid $800 for a stand up paddle boad at Jax. I found out later that the exac same board was $300 on Amazon! Not to mention it was not a very good quality board. My fault for not doing the research, which is why I didnt give 1 star. But I wont be going back to pay a 70% markup in price just to supprt local. Jeeze!

I had the worst experience ever at this location. It’s usually a great experience, but I think her name was Claire; short girl curly hair; ya so rude. I will not be returning to this location. I tried to ask her a question and she ignored me and sat on her phone. And when I asked again she was so rude to me and snippy and even said, “go ask someone else”. I was able to look at her name tag before. I was not happy with my experience, and hope not all your employees treat their customers this way.

They should have closed this one when they opened the new one. They have split up the inventory so you have to go from one store to the other to get what you want. Apparently adding to the traffic on 34 is a good idea. Looks likes Scheels for me!

Believe it or not, if you buy fly line at either Jax stores in loveland, be prepared to put it on yourself. Both stores have the machine to do it, but only E Eisenhower has someone who can, and if hes not working at the time you buy your line, they will ask you to come back another day when he is working. I cant believe two stores, rwo machines, and no one to put your line on. Absolutely rediculous! Buy your fly line at Sportsmans, they always have someone there who can do it.

They usually have what Im looking for, but it may mean that I have to shop all 3 Jaxs stores to find what I need.I am 68 years young and I have been shopping at Jaxs ( the original Jaxs ) since I was 10 years old.There are a lot of items which are over priced, as I have found same items cheaper and from the same company they buy wholesale from.But, all in all Jaxs is a good store to buy and shop.And by the way, make sure you visit the coffee bar .

They have everything youre looking for and more! The employees were very nice in every department I shopped. Everyone seemed happy to offer assistance. They struck the right balance by being helpful without stifling you as you browse. I was very pleased with my shopping trip at the new location in west loveland and will be returning!

If they don’t have what you are looking for they will surely help you find it locally, and if that doesn’t work you probably didn’t need it anyway. I always amazed at all that they carry and the people are all so friendly.

I just came here at 10 till 7 to buy feed that I needed for this weekend. They were already closed even though theyre not supposed to close until 7 this is unacceptable! This store sucks theres nothing Will make me never go to a store again Like this kind of a lousy unacceptable customer service!I think that barnyard vet is now my Feed store.

They have such a large variety of things. You find great cook ware and accessories that you cant find anywhere else. You can find clothes, shoes, farm stuff, hunting, camping, fishing gear and even tools and more. This place is a blast and they sale some amazing stuff

I just went to the new Jax in Loveland and wandered around the place with admiration. They still have some empty spots here and there in the fishing section and elsewhere, but they’ve done an amazing jog opening a new store during the pandemic. I just had to return a drill rig ice auger ar the other Loveland location, and got exceptionally good service.

If I ever hit the lottery, this will be one of the 1st places I go to splurge..Great Inventory.

Worse store I have been to. I go to Jax to shop around, look at tools or other items I may want to buy now or in the future. As soon as I walked in there I started to get blatantly followed everywhere by what I guess was a manager. Not trying to help me at all but treating me like a criminal. I have spent close to 10 grand at Jax over this past year. Did not deserve this treatment. I discurage everyone that reads this from going to this store. If I could give them a negative score I would. I will die of thirst before I give this store another one of my dollars

They need to update their computer systems to speed up checkout. Otherwise they have alot of random stuff that you wouldnt expect. My last purchase was black bolts that home depot didnt have.

For anyone who remembers the original store in north fort collins, these stores arent that anymore. Its upscale country chic with top shelf products and the staff is usually very helpful and knowledgeable. Like Scheels, be prepared to drop some cash but if its quality you seek, its there.

Went to the store in fort collins 35min away. Went over there becasue they are close to me. I needed a stock tank and they were out. They said the store in loveland has some. Called and was put on transfer hold for 10min. No one answered so i hung up. Tried calling 3 more times and nothing. Took the 35min drive and get here to find out the dont have any more stock tanks in stock. When the other store said they did, plus not answering the phone. Wasted 1hr30min for nothing.

My go-to place for work boots and hiking boots and I will continue to support them. I look forward to the opening of their newest Loveland location.I support their decision to remove products which depict the thin blue line flag. The American flag is for all citizens and I find the thin blue line flag to be antithetical to everything this country was founded upon. It directly violates the US flag code and disrespects those who died fighting for all citizens of our once great nation. Thank you, Jax for taking a stance and supporting a vision of America for every person.

I dont frequent the place, but they stock good black licorice and cinnamon bears. They have a large inventory of brands I like and prefer, but I know where to buy more affordably.

We came here for LPG. They were fairly quick at coming out to fill the tanks. The good ended there. As they were filling the tanks, we were talking about what we were doing today. We stated we were getting propane and archery parts. When we went in we to go to the area with archery. Heres the kicker, no archery here. So why didnt the other two employees that filled our tanks say anything. Really. Guess your clueless and dont know what archery is or just plain dont care. I will not be returning.

Awesome - this place is a mix of tractor supply, bass pro shops, and army surplus store. Got a Thule cargo carrier from here. They accept Apple Pay.

Fly fishing and climbing departments have moved to the new Jax location west of this one about 2 miles. Those were my favorite departments.
