Not sure the girl working there today 06/19/2021 @2:45 pm shes obviously high and looks to have been up for a few days...she over charged me and when I confronted her she just stood there with her mouth open completely not understanding what I was telling her ..I gave up and took the over charge she clearly wasnt in her rite mind to even understand...

If I’m in a pinch and need something it’s nice to have Northern Pleasures around.I will say though, today I went in with the intention of buying a $150 toy. I was going to buy it from this location because I wouldn’t have to pay shipping and wait a week.It’s awesome they carry this toy as it’s silicone and safe for the body BUT the safety seal was broken. I understand people wanting to actually touch and see the toy in their hand. Most shops will have sample toys under the counter for people to be able to see the product without actually opening the products on the shelve.If I am going to be buying a $150 toy, I don’t want anyone to have opened the sealed box and have touched it. First, it’s not sanitary. Second, if the toy was broken somehow, you can’t return sex toys.I went to the front counter to talk to the girl working and she didn’t seem generally interested in helping us out. I showed her the broken seal and asked if they had anymore. She told me they didn’t have anymore in stock. It would have been awesome if she asked if I wanted them to order one for me. I’d love to buy from a local business.So, love this shop, love the people who work the later shift, but wish there were more sanitary ways of going about business.

I’m rating this place a 1 star due to the fact that I went there tonight, and the girl didn’t ID ANYONE. Also the girl at the counter was rude, she never asked if she could help me, she didn’t offer me even a bag. She seemed too preoccupied with her phone. I won’t be coming back.

The selection of toys is not very good, they have a lot of jelly products that are cheap and bad for your body. They do have some products that are good but the selection on quality items is very limited. The woman working the mornings you should try and avoid. She doesn’t seem very nice, I felt very uncomfortable trying to talk to her. If I asked her a question all I got for answers where noises not even full words. She would only answer with “mmmhm” or something along those lines. Seems like she doesn’t know how interact with customers. I tried avoiding the store but had to go back one night and I’m glad I did. The short guy working there was a complete 180 from my previous experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the products, seemed to care about them as well with how well he knew them, and never made me feel uncomfortable. I tried throwing him off by asking what I thought where some weird questions, but he remained polite and nonjudgmental. I will continue going to the store at night from now on. I advise you to do the same if your going here.

They have great things for you to buy but nothing that you can give back. If you dont like your purchase you are stuck with it they will not exchange pipes out for another pipe they will not give you your money back even with you are receipt. Best suggestion, dont buy pipes from northern pleasures Marquette Michigan. Go to Jayz tobacco on 3rd Street or the happy carrot

The people who work there act like they loathe that you are in their presence and couldnt be bothered to do their job. Audible sighs and not even bothering to conceal talking about customers badly. I decided not to go here because online the products are so much cheaper.

Desirae gives the best advice and I frequently shop there. I have found many pleasurable toys. I also found many great bachelorette party favors and games.

Staff EXTREMELY knowledgeable. (same with nlg, jayz good luck). My vape blew almost immediately and yes i cleaned the contacts and all the obvious things. But it was only like 16 bucks so i didnt feel out to bad, especially when mine was trouble shooted and the new one tested. Thanks alice. (great worker, over the phone knew immediately which model vape i had and made relevant suggestion about it not firing if a juul pod was in at the same time; thankfully i dont ned a vape for those yet.....

Selection is lacking. Staff has been creepy in the past. And WTF is an adult store only open till 11???? No one wants to be seen buying a 10 inch oil slick in broad daylight man.

Products dont work at all. Ive gotten two different vibrators that were rechargeable an they both didint work. The products are also very over priced.. an not to mention the worker was a rude fat dude in suspenders that didint help what so ever.Thanks for nothing northern pleasures. I hope you dont have my problem with your product not working. I hope it works until your about to get off then stops just before.
