Im so glad that I came here! I really needed a new pair of insoles for my shoes. Paige was very polite and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. And within minutes she set me up with a pair of insoles that worked just right. This was definitely the smoothest footwear buying experience that Ive ever had! Easy five stars!

Very knowledgeable about shoes. I needed a lot of help to get the appropriate shoe. Was treated very well as a customer. But, one customer pulled her mask off to try on shoes, and nothing was said. Later, a staffer came out of the back room and was 15 into the front of the store before maskingIll go back, but not before the pandemic ends.

Anything less than 5 stars would be a disservice.Walked in looking for a specific brand and vague ideas of what I needed for a shoe and not only got recommendations, got one-on-one service, advice, a great style of shoe and fantastic help.They know what they are doing, know how to help you, and have a great selection of shoes!I rarely buy shoes but if I do Im going back there.

A great place to go for running shoes in Marquette! Their staff carry a wealth of knowledge about running, training, and the endurance athlete. They have running groups and do lots of events throughout the year to participate in the community. In their store, they carry a wide variety of items related to running, from shirts, hats and glasses to foam rollers and CLIF bars. Kevin, John, Sloan and the rest of the staff are a class act! No hesitations about recommending QCRC!

Ive never paid more than $65 for a pair of shoes. An employee sat down with me 1on1 and fitted me for a PERFECT pair of Saucony shoes. I paid double that ($130) without blinking. I grin ear to ear when I go running now.Their shoe inserts work great, too, and Im going back for a foam roller. Everyone there is the textbook definition of friendly! A good pair of shoes/insoles makes a huge difference.

Whenever I have the extra time visiting the area, Queen City Running Co. is a must stop by location. As a runner, I can say the offer plenty of items to get you on your way. From nutrition and glasses to shoes and warm athletic clothing. The staff is incredible as well. Good people and a great store.

Queen City is worth the trip. It takes me 90 minutes to get there (one way) but once I arrive I am greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I leave feeling like I am the most important customer theyve had all day.

Use to suffer with horrible foot pain for years; plenty of orthotic inserts to prove it. I have bought my shoes soley from Queen City for the last 3 years and they never steer me wrong! I havent had to wear my inserts since getting my first pair of shoes here! They know what theyre doing and the service is impeccable!

Very helpful staff with finding a new pair of running shoes. They took the time to examine my foot and stride and find a shoe that met my needs. Prices were very fair too. They will be my go to place for rubbing shoes in the future.

I had the pleasure of visiting with Kevin and John on Wednesday morning. I had recommended Queen City to a friend and I brought her up to buy a pair of shoes (Jeanne loves her new shoes!). I have been buying my shoes from the guys for years. Kevin said he would check into a pair of shoes that I was currently wearing to see if he could get a good price on them. Of course, he managed to get a great deal for me and left me a message Wednesday afternoon. I called him back Thursday morning and said he should order them for me. Friday morning my dog and I were sitting on the sofa having a cup of tea, I heard a knock on the door and the USPS lady had a package for me.... It was my shoes!!! Queen City Running is better than Amazon Prime!!! I had to call Kevin up!!! This is a true story Queen City Running is the BEST!!!

Big service in a nice little shop. These folks know their stuff and are happy to share. Plus their thirty day return policy is super impressive. Neither my wife or myself have needed it to date, but it gives you confidence when buying.

Great place for running gear! I came to the UP from Milwaukee to run a half and forgot my shoes 🤷🏻‍♂️. I called Kevin and he said to come one over and he would take care of me. Most running stores carry 1 size 14, he has a selection for me to choose from, and turned me into Hoka’s, which I wore for the half and loved them. Not only did he sell me shoes, he talked to my wife at I at length about running locally and abroad, and recommended some local races. Highly recommend this store, not just for the selection, but also the great service.

Called this morning and a friendly voice asked if it was Ronnie calling. John said he recognized my voice. I haven’t seen him in years and had no idea the QCRC was his son’s business. I was reluctant to call given the name of the business, assuming they served the running community exclusively. Not so. John was leaving work at 1:00. I hightailed it to the store. I did not get to meet the owner, but if he’s anything like his dad he has much to be proud of. John Thompson is a Marquette treasure. I used to buy my shoes and ski equipment/clothes from his store on third street and remember being sorely disappointed when they went out of business. John always remembered me by name and was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable about his stock, and never once did I feel rushed. I went this morning with a specific foot problem. The store was busy. John was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and took time finding exactly what I need! He hasn’t changed in all these years. If every business in our town treated their customers the way John does, we would never want to leave Marquette or go online to shop. He is a joy. My shoes had to be ordered. They’ll be here the middle of next week. Please, even if you’re not a runner, stop at Queen City Running Company on Baraga Avenue for professional fitting and service. You won’t be sorry.

The guys here are amazing! I havent run in decades, birthed two babies, and my body doesnt work the greatest yet I was treated with respect and given more help than I have at professional orthotic service businesses. Im so excited to try these new shoes and actually have hope as far as running again some day!

Great place very freindly and helpful staff and they also have a 30 day test drive on shoes but they really pay attention to the way you walk and they help accommodate shoes that work for your style I burn through shoes at the rate of about a pair a month and they are working with me to find a pair of shoes that will work for me and hopefully last longer than the ones I have been buying

Training for my 3rd marathon and went in to find a new pair of shoes since my usual line of shoes had some changes. Excellent customer service and great return policy (30 days of actually being able to wear the shoes and ensure they work for me beyond just running down the block). I was very happy and will be back for future fittings and suggestions.
