I really like the store now, before it was pretty dirty but they`ve done a good job fixing up the place plus the girl employes are super nice

This store sells many items that would usually sell for more money in other stores. The music is played at a respectful and quiet volume. The assistants were pretty nice. I couldnt find one or two items, but all in all this store receives a 4 star review from me.

I would not recommend anyone visit THIS store!!! I visited the store today and was met with a very rude and disturbed associate who claimed that he owned the store, then screamed and proceed kicked me out. He also threatened that he would call the police on me, even though I had done nothing wrong. All I did was ask what the price of an item was and he said its not my job and started yelling at me. This was a total shock to me because I have been to this store many times since it has opened up and I have never had such a bad experience. As I walked out of the store. Another customer also exited the store with me (He was a kind old man). He tried to comfort me and he also stated that the associate is a very rude and a nasty man. (5/25/20)

I am disheartened to share this story that happened to my parents during their trip to Dollar Deal (the dollar store next to Shoprite in New City) yesterday. My parents did their shopping and were checking out when the cashier noticed my dad’s t-shirt. My dad was wearing a shirt with the Israeli Defense Force logo and Hebrew writing. The cashier accosted my dad, saying nasty things about Israel. My dad tried not to engage, but the cashier continued to berate him. I don’t care what his personal views are, but it was completely uncalled for, inappropriate, and borderline harassment!!! This anti-Semitism should not be happening in our stores or anywhere!! This is the same store that was price gouging hand sanitizer and face masks at the start of the pandemic. I have only shopped there a handful of times, each time with some issue!!! Please spread the word that this place should be avoided at all costs!!!

I went to the Dollar Deal store in New City yesterday and bought 6 items. When I got home, I discovered that 2 of the 6 items did not work properly. I revisited the store today (the next day) to make them aware of the non-working items and requested an even exchange for 2 of the same item in proper working condition. The salesperson was extremely rude and refused to allow the exchange, repeatedly stating “This is not a Dollar Tree” (not sure what he meant by that). Unfortunately, the store has lost my business and I certainly won’t be referring anyone there.

My wife and I nicknamed this store, The best dollar store ever! That is how good it is. Lots of party supplies and balloons. Also, good selection of charging cables

Dirty and rundown are 2 words that come to mind when one enters this store

Its a great place but you have to get to an hour before they close because they lock the doors 10-20 minutes before their posted closing times

On Saturday August 31, 2019 I walk into the store with my 14 pound Maltese service dog. My dog was wearing a red service vest with his identification on it. The owner of the store/worker starting SCREAMING and YELLING at me,telling me to leave the store because he doesnt allowed dogs in the store. I tried to explain that my dog is a service dog and showed him the dogs ID tag but,he didnt care and make me leave the store. I want to say :Shame on him, for not accepting a service dogs in the store.
