I was hesitant to go into the exchange as it is really hard to know what you are getting. I looked into this location and found numerous glowing reviews for Elie spanning a long period of time. They are all correct. My wife and I went in looking for a 50th Birthday / 25th Anniversary present for her (both are this year). She has always wanted a diamond tennis bracelet and Elie took the time to help us make an excellent choice. She walked my wife through the pros and cons of yellow vs white gold, different cuts, stone clarity and color. If we wanted something other than displayed she would get it and she was never, ever pushy. In the end were are thrilled with the selection we made and will absolutely go back in the future for any other jewelry purchases we will be making.For those who are worried about the prospect of shopping in a flea market type exchange (this one having been formed when the old Attias flea market closed) YOU ARE CORRECT TO BE CONCERNED. Listen fellas, do yourselves a favor and just go to Elie (all the way in the back). I asked a good friend where he got his now wifes engagement ring and he pointed me Elies way. I am SO glad I asked. When I first paid her and Barry a visit, shut down was still in effect, but Elie made my visit personal and from just 3 minutes of chatting and one picture she had a whole selection of options for me. After some viewing and a bit more discussion, I had settled on the ring that now lives on my fiancees finger. I was so thrilled to find Ellie and Barry at the back of the store after going to a few booths in the front but not feeling very comfortable I saw some jewelry at the front booths that’s just wasn’t up to par but when I got to the back to Ellie and Barry’s booth I was so blown away by how gorgeous their jewelry was. That was two months ago. Since then we’ve purchased a gorgeous diamond wedding band, absolutely gorgeous gold bracelet which she put amethyst stones in, rings for my husband, toe rings for both myself and my daughter and the cutest ankle bracelets. Their jewelry is absolutely gorgeous, high quality and the prices were great. My next purchase will be diamond earrings. I wouldn’t trust anybody else. I Recommend Unique Jewelry Designs by Elie and Barry. Once you enter the exchange, go to left and walk all the way back - their counter is the back wall facing the entrance.I received a quote, from another vendor at the exchange, to fix a clasp that was 150% higher then what Elie and Barry quoted. I was not happy with the suggested price from this other vendor so I decided to read some reviews and that is how I found Elie and Barry. I recommend them. It is hard to trust a jeweler. I highly suggest going to communicate with them first before other vendors there. I will be going back to them.

Ellie and Barry from Select Gold and Silver Jewelry are amazing! Youll find them all the way in the back of Gateway Jewelry Exchange in Patchogue, NY. I just had my engagement ring recreated to incorporate my mother in laws 200 year old diamond. I wanted it set into a vintage setting with 3 diamonds. After finishing the engagement ring Ellie and I texted back and forth pictures to find the best wedding band design to go along with the engagement ring. They used the diamonds from my original wedding band. It is a perfect pairing. Both Ellie and Barry were so patient with me and wanted to get it perfect equally as much as I did. It took me over 2 years to find a jeweler who realized that it takes time and patience to create a great custom piece. To top it all off they have a finisher, who came in to set the diamonds in front of me. He was an expert at his craft and softened the edges at the end of the process. I picked the rings up 2 days ago. Every time I look at my rings I love them even more. Thank You Ellie and Barry. I will be back again.......

My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from this store. We had to bring it back 5 times because the band broke, a side diamond fell out, and one was smushed in. They refused to refund us or provide a new band. I was without my ring for months. I brought it to a different jeweler to look at and they said the band wasn’t put together correctly, the one side diamond is smaller than the rest, and one side diamond is a different color (it looks yellow/green in the light). I would not recommend purchasing important jewelry from this store.

A&A Jewelry is the best! 1st counter on the right. I couldn’t find a trillion tanzanite ring I wanted so they made one exactly the way I hoped. It’s beautiful 😍 Customer Service & prices are excellent. Wish I could post picture.

Boris says he can fix it ... brought it to 2 other jewelers on Monday and Tues when gateway was closed.....both said setting has been compromised and needs a new settings..lets see whats done..

As soon as I walked in I walked to the front and asked Roy and the other man if they owned the whole place and they said yes and that was a lye!! and they sold me a used peice of jewelry and later I exchanged it for a gold ring they charged me two thousand dollars then I had it appraised at budget buy and sell the highest paid place its famous and they told me that it was worth only two hundred and fifty dollars? I couldnt believe it they ripped me off and you cant trust them I will never do business with them ever again and I wish that I had never walked into the place they cheat you and Rob you the people directly in front!!!

As I waited I heard a man buying a new wedding ring for his wife cause his home was broken into and Steve without Question said no worries I want your wife happy and this bad experience to be in the past, heart felt emotion ... On October 9th 2015, I came across this big jewelry store located in Gateway Plaza in Patchogue NY, Gateway Jewelry Exchange. I ran in fast with hopes of getting my old beat up engagement ring either rebuilt or just something...it was in bad shape, I walked in and realized it was some of the jewelers from the Attias Flea market, I was happy since I always got a great deal there. I ventured off to the left and walked up to IMPERIAL JEWELRY, and thats where I met a bunch of great people, I winded up picking out a new setting but it needed to be remade larger for my center stone, I asked if I could have a few things added to match my original ring, about two and half weeks later the ring was ready and long story short I was not happy with the look for me it was just to big for my finger, but let me tell you something, I looked at he amazing guys behind that counter and said,,,Im just not happy, I dont like it, and to my surprise their response was, DONT WORRY, WHAT EVER WE HAVE TO DO TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, WE WILL. Now that is A+ customer service. They delivered above and beyond, I picked out a new setting and Im just in love, its gorgeous and everything I could ever want, Thank you Yuray, your funny father, your amazing staff for making me so welcomed, I would recommend anyone to them. My future jewelry purchases will only be through Imperial Jewelry.
