I love this little market. Just a few blocks from home, me and my family have been stopping in here for beer, soda, and snacks for 17 years. They have a surprisingly good beer selection, a cute storefront, and a friendly, neighborly owner.

This store absolutely hands down is one of the portland must see attractions. You cannot say you have been to portland without giving this place a try. I highly recommend this to anyone- families, friends, enemies and lovers. God bless

If I had to rate Selam Market, I would give it three Michelin stars - meaning one should travel to this country just to see it. It’s unlike ANYTHING you’ve ever experienced - in the best way possible

Tiny market with tiny selection. They had beer, so thats good. Also does growler fills

No sitting!! I dont want cops coming my store cause you sit and use your cell phone after purchasing food! Im only one allowed sit at these 6 tables and they to be empty except ME, now GO AWAY! ...Yeah, really...
