The best Middle Eastern/ European market in Maryland. So glad to discover the transition (one day) from being a restaurant to selling goods coming from the Mediterranean surrounding. I highly recommend to everyone and anyone

Yekta, you are just as unique as your Persian name but you certainly are not single or alone. I immediately felt alive when in this grocery store. It is exotic. This was my first time to this store and I was blown away by the diversity of the Middle Eastern products being offered. Now let’s talk about the food. The hummus was very disappointing. Kabob Bazaar in Arlington makes the best hummus. It is creamy and smooth and the garlic is not overpowering. You might want to consider training n their kitchen or Google them. The Ghemeh Bademjan was delicious. The Ghormeh Sabzi had confusing flavors, too many beans and not enough beef. The Mirza Ghasemi was wonderful. The rice was nice and fluffy. The cashier for the grocery store was pleasant. Heartbreak was the goldfish tank going out the door. The fishes looked very lonely. I guess you are all alone after all.

Definitely my favorite Middle Eastern marketn Huge, with lots of things that you cant find other places, and a ton of variety within categories, e.g. 8 brands of labneh, 6 brands of pomegranate molasses, a dozen kinds of honey. You get the idea. The ice cream is fabulous, and giant flatbreads. Check it out!

Great selection of Persian, Eastern European, Yunan Greek foods. Fresh vegetables and exotic fruits with seasonal surprises like fresh almonds make the experience special. There is great customer service with a small, hometown feel. People make the place and the people here have made the restaurant converted to a marketplace very welcoming and very well stocked. You can still enjoy the Persian delicacies from their carry out window. We always indulge in both. Safe practices are both observed and appreciated.

Over priced compare to other Persian stores in the same area. And most items do not have a price listed so you don’t know what your going to pay at the register. Not a good feeling. Owners and employees seem to be too busy and too cocky to be nice.

They have a variety of Iranian and other middle eastern products. We went grocery shopping yesterday and the dry products seem to be ok so far.I posted the videos of the slimy Iranian kalbas I bought yesterday. The kalbas was horrible it is for sure expired. They should have thrown it out and not let it be in the fridges for us to grab.Truly disgusting.

Amazing Persian grocery store. Good produce (small, well curated selection), as well as spices, desserts, and canned middle eastern items. Good prices, great selection, friendly service. Lots of the items (including many many baked goods) have kosher certifications on the packaging. Truly full of things you cant find elsewhere.

This is one of the best mid eastern grocery in the DC area. Very friendly staff, well stocked, lots of fresh veg, olives, bread, cheeses. Good frozen section. Though it emphasizes Persian foods, Yekta also has excellent and (fresh products) from the Levant and North Africa. I like to go and browse. Always walk away with a smile (and bags of great groceries)

Ive been shopping here for years. Its a convenient location for the items they sell a lot of. I buy olive oil, spices, yogurt/labne, cucumbers. But you pretty much cant trust anything that staff say about quality, and its not uncommon for expiration dates to be rubbed off. If it looks like its fresh, and you can see the production/expiration date, then you are probably in the clear. Im giving it 5-stars because its still my go-to place for lebanese/iranian type foodstuffs.

A good one-stop shop for Middle Eastern food. They also carry some fresh produce. The aisles are a bit narrow but stocked very well. Great variety. Some items are a touch more expensive than other places. If youre looking for similar stores in the area, check out two other much smaller stores nearby and across the street from each other: “Asadurs Market” on Randolph Rd and “MD International Mart” on Nebel Street.

The super market is my must stop by every other weekend. They bake fresh flat bread, they have the best Saffron of you like using it to make rice, very fresh fruit and vegetables -real organic- and they have occasionally some fruit from middle east in some seasons. Nice and yummy Persian and middle eastern sweets, dessert and pastry. Prices is higher than other Persian stores, but much better quality and fresher at YektaThere is a Yekt restaurant right nextdoor and they have good food and wine, Parisian food and their special house mint yogurt drink of you like it.
