I had Terry Abers at Water City install a Kinetico water softener two years ago, with a filter for the whole house. A year later, it was struggle to reach him - or anyone - to schedule a filter replacement. But eventually I did, though the guy showed up unprepared without the filter, so a half-hour job took several hours. But fine. This year for the replacement, I left several messages - none of which were returned. Finally, after calling again and again, someone answered and I had a an appointment. No one showed, and I had to call again to find out what was going one. The woman who answered said someone would be out the following week - nothing. More calls message a s nothing, nothing, nothing. This company is fine for install, but expect then to have to have do a fair bit of legwork to take over and deal with maintenance. You’re better off with a different company from the get-go.
UPDATE: The day I called to get a refund was the day the water was finally delivered. Coincidence?? I must say the water is really good, so I am very pleased with the product. Rating will probably increase beyond the additional two stars I gave in the updated review as we continue to do business.I am very disappointed I was not able to set up water delivery with Water City. Seven days ago I placed an order and was told it would be there the next day. Two days later I called to check on the delivery, plus twice more I called. I was told it would be there before the end of the day if I called early, or by the end of the next day if I called after waiting all day. Understandably delivery services are backed up due to the winter storm, but I absolutely will not put up with lies and deceitful business practices.
We were stood up 8 times by Terry and his team...without an apology and now he wont take our calls. We have an RO and softening system he installed, its not operating right and he refuses to provide any service after the sale and our water pressure is pathetic after he installed a pressure reducer. We have never had words or drama. I always forgave the forgetting of appointments with us. I have kindly offered to pay for service calls and he still wont do it. I will never understand people like this. Finding someone to service new water softeners that they did NOT install is proving to be impossible.
Dishonest. If you pay cash for deliveries they keep the money and then send you a bill 3 months later to get you to pay a 2nd or 3rd time for the same delivery.

My favorite water store around here. Prices are considerably lower than most of the other stores I’ve been to. Very friendly service.
Terry came out around 9pm and helped fixed an emergency we were having. Great service.
