I just had Custom Patios Solutions install my patio screens and I have to say, I am so thrilled as to how they turned out!!! The team was AMAZING!!!! Dane was so professional and made me feel comfortable they were going to do everything to make me satisfied . Daniel explained the process and how the install would happen. I felt very confident that it was going to look fabulous and it does. Nigel, Brandon, and Corey were so impressive! I just can’t say enough! The customer service that was given to me some of the best I’ve ever had on home installations period. I am very happy and grateful that they worked at such a high level. GREAT JOB MEN. We hired Custom Patio Solutions to install a Motion Patio Cover with Aluminum Shutters project was to be completed in October. Custom Patio Solutions installed the Motion Patio Cover and when they installed it, the product had issues retaining the water on top so when we opened the cover all the water collected from the rain poured into our courtyard in which all patio furniture was soak. We called Clay the owner and it seem that he did not want to correct the issue and he finally decided to make it right due to my action with our HOA and our President stated that he would not approve any projects with this company until our Patio Cover was corrected by the company. Signed contract on 07/2020 stated that this would be completed in October of 2020 and Custom Patio Solutions just finished the cover and shutter doors on 03/2021 almost 7 months later. Very disappointed with this company and will not refer them to anyone. Clay the owner doesnt take pride of the product he is selling.

Custom Patio Solutions installed retractable motorized screens on our patio. We are very pleased with the end product. After the installation of the screens, the owner (Clay Mitchell) made sure that we were satisfied with the appearance and functionality of the screens. What was really impressive is the fact that Mr Mitchell returned my calls after the sale and did not rush me off the phone but patiently answered all my questions. It is difficult finding honest/reliable contractors nowadays; however, I truly believe we found one in Mr Mitchell of Custom Patio Solutions. I would definitely recommend this company to my family, friends, neighbors, etc.

I’ve never once written a review but had to share my experience about this company. Would never recommend them to anyone and personally they do not even deserve one star! I spoke with Harry this morning and told him what we were looking for as far as patio enclosure and he started with “well before we come out for measurements and to give you an estimate I need you to know that it’s going to cost $3,000-$5,000 so I need to know if you’re serious enough before we waste our time coming out there” I thought that was an odd way to start the conversation but I said “yes we’re actually serious about doing this project.” He then went on to ask if we’re business owners and needed my information where we live and phone numbers so of course I shared all of that information with him. I told him I stay at home with our daughter and they can come out for measurements whenever they have availability because I’m usually always home. He then told me my husband HAS to be home when they come out because we would have to make an immediate decision and I couldn’t say to him “well let me discuss this with my husband and get back to you.” I told him that my husband works at the hospital here in Fredericksburg and he’s on call several times this week so to determine a time that he will physically be home each day is really hard to say... I explained that if he’s needed at the hospital then he obviously won’t be home. He then went on to ask me “well does your husband actually trust you to make important decisions?” I said “ummm yes he does” and then he asked “well does he actually trust you to write checks for a large amount?” WOW! Yes this is how our conversation went this morning. I have honestly never dealt with such a horrible and insulting business. I then proceeded to tell him “we will gladly use someone else. Thanks for your time.” And I hung up!So he called back and tried to apologize and went on and on about how his boss Clay would get extremely angry with him if he was sent out for measurements and then we ended up not going with this because they are too expensive. I said “we will use someone else. Thanks!”DO NOT even waste your time calling them. Harry is insulting and a sexist, apparently.

Called for a quote- to replace an awning on a home in the dominions. So of course I was asked for the address and the contact info so they could come out and give us a quote. So of course I have them the info. But before giving the location of the awning we needed replaced. The man taking the info said “well before I even waste my time, you do realie we only install $5,000-$10,000 awnings”. Instantly I thought wow, what kind of business that is potentially about to get a good job says things like that. Anyway I told the man. Well the home is in the Doninions. Instantly his attitude changed ( anyone from San Antonio knows there is lots of money in that neighborhood )So we proceeded on. Gave him the location of the job, home owners name, reachable phone numbers, and our company name( multi-million dollar company btw) So I figured the next thing I would hear is when they could come out and give us a price. Well I guess I was wrong, because they than began to ask for my full name, home address, personal cell- I said sir I already gave you my name and our business cell and name. Why do you need my home address. Well that must have been the wrong thing to ask. He raised his voice like I was some child stating “Listen here. I need your info Incase you don’t pay us for the job so our attorneys can sue you!!!”So I responded. So you mean you want the company address. Because I dont own the company. And I sure as hell aint telling some random guy on the phone where I live. When we haven’t even agreed to do work yet. So he said you know what. And hung up the phone.This was too funny- we literally were going to hire the first company to show up, no matter the price ( well obviously let’s have some sense.) we weren’t going to go wasting time over a couple hundred dollar differences.I would not EVER recommend anyone to hire this company or to even speak to them. If ancompanies first worry is that you won’t pay for a job they do. That is clearly a sign for terrible work & scam artists.
