This place has been open for as long as I can remember... back in high school, my mom would treat my sister and me to their delicious croissant sandwiches once a week for lunch. While I am no longer living in the area, I always make the effort to stop by when I am visiting family and friends!I am a big fan of their croissant sandwiches. I ordered their vegetarian croissant sandwich without cheese around 12:50pm on a Monday. It was absolutely delicious! They even gave my sister and me a free donut hole. So sweet (literally)! Highly recommend getting this local family run business a try!

I love their breakfast sandwiches and donut holes! Ive only tried breakfast sandwiches with bagels so far, but Im sure they are amazing on croissants too. You can choose your protein (bacon, ham, turkey, etc.), and the sandwich comes with egg and cheese. I like how they perfectly season the egg and make it fluffy. Im also a fan of their glazed donut holes. So soft and perfect for snacking. Ive also tried a good variety of their donuts and everything was good.Theyve been staying open during the shelter in place, and Ive seen them open even after their regular closing time at 3pm. So no matter what time of day, if you want breakfast sandwiches or donuts, give this place a try!

The best croissants I have ever eaten!! The doughnuts and bagels are delicious as well and the customer service is excellent! My partner and I stopped by for breakfast treats while we were visiting Santa Clara and it was so delicious, we came back for lunch sandwiches and coffee the next day. I have been dreaming about the croissants and refreshing Vietnamese iced coffee ever since.

The croissant is so soft n warm, not to mention buttery! eggs could be better but 10/10 recommend, this is my second time back.

Love this place! It is a little family run shop with the best sandwiches. Their donuts are great too. If Im ever in the neighborhood Im sure to stop by. Highly recommend.

Love their great selection of sandwiches, bagels and assorted donuts. Along great coffee, drinks and extras like assorted flavors of cream cheese, fruit, etc..It has been a family business for many years.Please consider giving them a try. They are having a very difficult time due to this pandemic!

Good value bagel sandwich shop. It’s dingy looking and not even sure if Bernal is the right name cuz it only says bagel and donut on the outside. But the food is actually really good! The bagels looks like they homemade (not sure) - the pictures are all faded but the bagel sandwiches are good. I got bacon egg bagel and it was delicious. The crab sandwich had a lot of veggies which seemed fresh.Go for the bagels, the donuts look just standard.

This cute little place has amazing bagels and cream cheese! Their veggie cream cheese is a must try - it has freshly chopped crunchy veggies.. really yummy!

Small assortment of chips, salads and extras such as yogurt or hard boiled eggs. Can make several types of coffee pretty quick.The donuts are pretty good! Very consistent.Has a couple tables inside, and several tables outside.Cash only under a certain total, erm, might be $5 or $10.

Love this family! My kids grew up on their donuts and breakfast sandwiches on the weekends and they were our pastry supplier for our espresso business. Sweet hard working family and yummy place to eat!

Customer service is terrible, like I was wasting her time for not buying a dozen. Also, doesnt change gloves or wash hands between cleaning and serving donuts... Luckily she used tongs or I wouldve left. I regret even going there again... In the past, sandwiches were as good as at any donut shop, but others have nicer service, better hygeine, and are cleaner. Distasteful experience, never going back.

These guys are an entirely family owned and operated place, and they are just delightful. I chat with the older lady who works the counter, and the girl that makes the sandwiches always makes them delicious and fast!Seriously, the BEST croissant turkey egg sandwich Ive ever had, hands down. Ive only tried a few other sandwiches and not all of them are as amazing as the turkey one, but they make great stuff and have yummy donuts and coffee too, cheaper than donut wheel! =) I always come here when Im driving by, excellent place.

The place is not fancy, to say the least, but the bagles are great.

Driven by this place at least a hundred times and I have said Im going to try it sometime. Today I tried it and I wasnt disappointed. I tried their donuts and they were fabulous. One of the best I have ever had! The maple bars were great... not greasy like the shop down the street. I will be back many more times.

Thee be warned. Its a bagel place for trolls and gnomes only. The guardians of these holy hallows are grumpy, aggressive and dont like it when you eat their food away. Giving them gold in exchange wont help. They like to be left alone. They like flies and spiders, cobwebs and dust. So they decorate their realm with these tasty treats. They dont want you to undo their decorative work, so they wont dispense napkins, just to make sure you leave everything worse than you found it.Unless you are a troll or a gnome (or maybe a witch), you will have a hard time getting used to their food. Their bagels are dry and lettuce leaves are welted. Cheese slices are the artificial type and avocados hard as a rock (troll favorite).No water, no toilet, no drinkable coffee.Alas, youre unhappiness will make the guardians happy. They dislike humans in general, but happy humans are just THE worst.Thank god Im a goblin.

I am not a big fan of bagel and coffee and I know nothing about the two but I started eating bagels because of them.I also love the decor.

I thought it was really good, enough for me to go back a second time...and I plan to go a third time. Bagels are really good from there, just ask them not to overkill it with cream cheese though in case you dont like a lot. Plus they have a variety of flavors. The donuts are delicious and fresh. I prefer the jelly donuts 😋 awesome service!

Stopped by this shop on the way to work and it ended up a bummer of a start to my day. The food doesn’t taste fresh (my bagel was definitely a day old), the seating area is kind of gross, the coffee was too thin. The lady behind the counter was gruff.I like older bagel and donut shops, they have a unique flair. Like older diners. But this one is a bit too rundown for my taste.

Havent been here for years and as I am in town for work had to come back. Oh my gosh, it is SO SO AMAZING!!! I ordered a breakfast bagel without meat. Sundried tomato bagel, eggs, cheese and avocado. Friendly staff, fast service, EPIC food.

This place is borderline disgusting. You walk in and instantly get the sense of everything being dirty. Spider webs and flies on donut, tables, windows, everywhere! Every table was full of crumbs. The fridge had all kinds of residue on it. Almost all lightbulbs are missing or broken. While I ordered, I really started wondering how much they value cleanliness when preparing food. To top it off, the donuts werent good either. Its hard to believe, but they actually had too much sugar in them. Or maybe sweetener?Just, ... No to everything.

Wow. I witnessed today how the owner of this place chased after a customer for not wiping down their table after they left. I mean she literally ran out into the parking lot and yelled at them for not cleaning up.What?! Who does that? First of all, if you require your customers to bus their own table, down to every crumb, you gotta let them know with a sign or something.Secondly, what donut shop requires customer to wipe down their tables?Thirdly, even if a customer doesnt do so, you really think it is appropriate to run after them to their car and yell at them?Lastly, the owners reaction seems a little ironic, considering that their bagel place isnt exactly ... shiny and glittering.

This place has extremely good food. Donuts, bagels, the breakfast bagel sandwiches, etc etc. I have been coming here for several years and I think its run by a family but I could be wrong. I cant get over how good their donuts are!!! If youre lucky enough to come in on a day when they have the French Crullers, get one! They are amazing!

Delicious fresh breakfast sandwiches my kids love and a great variety of lunch sandwiches. If you dont feel like a sandwich they have donuts. A quaint shop with character.

We werent impressed by the food at all. I ordered the lox cucumber bagel and my wife an avocado cheese croissant. The avocado was too hard to eat and the cheese was the prepackaged kind of cheap cheese slices. There was very little lox on my bagel. I understand, that its an expensive kind of meat, but then make the bagel more expensive but dont cut down on the lox.My coffee was ok but my wifes caffeine free it was undrinkable.

Excellent soft,fresh baked bagels, tasty donut holes and house blended cream cheeses (I had the strawberry and the plain) along with friendly staff and good prices make this place my favorite neighborhood bagel/donut shop. I will definitely be returning for breakfast more often!

This is literally my favorite sandwhich shop. Any time Im close I have to stop. They are CONSISTANTLY FRESH, well put together and awesome. I love that they put cucumbers and sprouts as well as all the basics. Its a step above. Quality. Cant get enough!

I take monthly trips to the Kaiser across the street, and I always make time to come by and grab the pastrami on onion with some tea on the side - light, yet satisfying. Pretty diverse menu with good options, and its always super quick and courteous service. This is for sure going to be my go-to when Im in the area!

One of the best place in the bay for croissant. Freshly baked, crispy and steaming hot if you come early in the morning. This is my to go place when I miss Europe.

Good donuts and good bagel

The employees at this donut shop were so rude. The first woman ignored my sister’s request twice. The second woman was so impatient and didn’t even give me my maple donut, for which she charged me for. I’ll never go to this place again, and I most definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Go buy donuts elsewhere. This place is highly disappointing, which explains the lack of customers.

Love coming here. I grab my egg and bacon cheddar cheese bagel for breakfast and a tuna sanwhich for lunch every Tuesday and Friday. Great prices and i think the food i get is great!

My friend and i ordered donut holes they were stale and dry, we also ordered two bagels and the strawberry cream cheese was old my friend took of bite of hers and she said it tasted spoiled however my cream cheese look discolored so i did not eatNot fresh products i wanted to order a croissant sandwich but theyre bacon did not look fresh and it was not covered it looked like the bacon has been sitting there for days

Terrible service and they dont have much selection of bagels I walked out because the woman wouldnt help me when I asked what other bagels she had when they only had 1 everything bagel
