I have a really hard believing any of the one star reviews folks have given this place. The staff has always been extremely friendly and professional. I have bought several guns, ammunition, parts and range supplies here in the past and will continue to do so in the future. They are not pushy trying to get you to buy and are always glad to answer any questions you may have. Also their prices are not bad at all. I have recommended them to several friends and all were extremely happy.

I would give it zero stars if I could, the one knowledgeable person about any of the firearms is never in. Richard is extremely rude and passive aggressive for no reason.The woman in there is a sweetheart though, I hope they keep her if anything. Would not recommend shopping here, go to Nashville Gun Store or Nashville Armory, they will be able to answer your questions and give you advise about the firearms you plan on purchasing WITHOUT the attitude. Guess you get good service if you fit the type.

Love this place. Bought guns and ammo directly from them and also bought the same online and had it dropped here. Never a problem and always happy to help however they can.Will keep going there.

Called about a gun smith. Did not have one in house but gave me a name and number for recommendation. Excellent customer service even when having no benefits. Will definitely do further bussines.

The guy here was really nice. He was very respectful, as a woman when I go into armorys most men talk to me like they dont know what Im doing there, he was very polite, ready and willing to help. They didnt have what I need unfortunately, but they did leave me with a good experience, so Ill try again with them.

Better service than 99% of gun stores around. They give a honest opinion when asked about different guns. If they dont know how a gun feels they will tell you they have not shot that gun yet. Best of all they actually have inventory. They have more handguns instock than any store I have been to in the last 4 months

Helpful. However I called and was told they had ammo in stock. When I arrived there they told me they didn’t have any and told me their next shipment would be next week. Disappointed that I wasted that time driving over there for nothing

This place has always had a great staff when I’ve purchased firearms. Very nice and helpful. However, the “ owner or co- owner” has been very pushy on trying to sell any firearm I would pick up. I’ve not ever seen this in a gun store before. Very defensive when Asking him certain questions. On and on. Bought 2 guns and ammo over the last two years. Will never return.

Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, very professional. Wide selection of weapons to choose from, willing to order weapon if not in stock, offers FFL transfers for reasonable price. In near future, owner will offer selection of reloading equipment and supplies as well. Give Richard a try, stop by and look, very impressed with his knowledge.

The younger guy at the front desk has no idea what he is talking about then asked about a ar 10 and a drum clip and the owner said that’s his best deal he has them for 100 dollars more then what the company has them for sale for and he was 200 dollars over priced on the ar10 don’t go here unless u want to be ripped off and told wrong

Rather than taking my money immediately, they recommended I go to a range and rent the one I was interested in before buying so I would be sure I liked it. I took their advice and loved the gun. I came back to the shop and purchased one later on. Definitely a business that has your best interests in mind.

I have been to many gun stores in the area and I can say with confidence that Smyrna gun is worth a consideration the next time you need a firearm or some supplies. The person I dent with there was just about the friendliest gun salesman I have ever done business with. they have the best prices in the area I can find so I would suggest you give it a shot.

Great selection, and with the recent expansion the store no longer feels cramped. They have deals on range buckets for popular ammo. Great service each time Ive been in there to ask questions or purchase.

Sent my lady Here to get some range ammo, which she specifically asked for. They sold her 50 rounds of defense ammo for $40. Cmon man..

I was totally ignored by both sales people. I did ask one question, which was answered, but his attitude was not customer friendly. I was somewhat confused about their attitudes because the previous reviews being 5 star, the reason I went.

Never owned a gun. Walked in and received amazing customer support, they absolutely loved that I was asking so many questions about guns in general and the best weapons for self/home defense. They really gave me not just an amazing couple of options with handguns, but at one point when I was going to walk out with enough information - they stopped me and I also got about another hour or hour and a half of asking questions for shotguns! Walked in on Saturday the 11th with absolutely no intention to buy anything, and they were VERY OK with that! They went further than just to answer the questions I had but to go in to detail about more than just what I asked. They helped me find 1 handgun and 1 shotgun that would fit my wife and Is needs/requirements. Told them Id be back. Came back today, Wednesday the 22nd and got a Mossberg 500 in .410 bore shells, a cleaning kit, ear protection, enough home defense shells and some training shells for under $380. Absolutely 5/5. I just hope I never have to use it! =-)
