First and foremost, the builders, Bobby and Dylan were amazing!! They built a great quality deck, they were attentive, they communicated with me every step of the way. I love my deck. I actually even cooked for them once it was completed. They are the reason I gave 4 star review.My experience outside of them was not good. 12 week wait turned into 30 week wait, with the only communication of that initiated by me. I completely understand weather, jobs going longer, and a global pandemic but I had to chase communication of that. I shouldn’t have to do that. After the initial estimate I never saw or heard from the project manager again. I work in customer service as management and can say that communication speaks volumes!! My biggest advise for the company is to work on customer service skills, it would help with the long waits I assure you!I am a happy customer and pleased with my deck!! I called the Deck Company to come bid a new privacy fence on our home we just purchased. They promptly came out and bid the job, they were professional and very informative about the whole process. They explained the scope of the job and made all the necessary calls to dig rite to get everything marked. They came out and had our new fence put up so quickly! We love it and it looks great. Worst decking company ever! Charge my father-in-law 11,500; within 3 months the wood was splitting none of the rails were even strong enough for us to lean against. Also everything that was screwed together there was a quarter inch gaps everywhere where the wood wasnt even touching the wood to hold it sturdy and steady. They committed crime against the elderly and I am totally upset about it!!! My father-in-law rest his soul was not the type of person that would sue or argue with anyone, so he let it slide, and now we are all trying to deal with it, and make our home safer for my mother-in-law. Dont use this company theyre horrible and take advantage of people that dont know any better!

The Deck Company had competitive pricing. From the quote to the installation, they were on time and did nice work. The installers- Derek and Thomas did great work, they were super friendly, knowledgeable, and professionals in their field. The work reflected it. I had a relatively small fence project, but one day when Im a bigger fish, Ill certainly use The Deck Company again.

As a real estate broker, I have lots of experience with contractors. So when it came time to start making improvements to my back yard, I was dreading meeting with contractors. After the installation of my pool, I started interviewing several contractors to build a deck and a pergola. After receiving multiple ridiculous bids, I called The Deck Company. Originally, I thought theyd be too expensive, but they were well under some of the bids I already had, but The Deck Company was actually offering a better product! I chose to go with a concrete deck instead, and the work they did was awesome! They showed up on time and the finished patio was perfect! When they came back to build the pergola, I also had them bid all the landscaping as well. We had The Deck Company do it all for us! Weve turned a small back yard into an oasis now! Super happy and I highly recommend The Deck Company for decks, concrete patios, pergolas, and even landscaping! Now if I can only find a way to fit a hot tub back there!

I called The Deck Company the end of last week and scheduled an appointment for first thing Monday morning for an estimate on putting screens around our deck to enclose it.We decided to go with them because their price was very reasonable and Daniel was very professional, and he told us they were three weeks booked out and we were OK with that.They called me a day later and said that they moved us up on their schedule and They could get to us first thing in the morning, (which is literally a three day turnaround time from having the estimate to when they are going to start the project.)He did say it’ll just take one day I believe.We cannot be more excited and happy and pleased with this company.Thank you so much for moving us up on your schedule and getting us taking care of 🙏🏼 this really means a lot to us, that’s why I’m leaving a five star review .

We called Tuesday and no one answered their phone so we left a message. Today is Friday and no one has called us back so we called them again. This time someone finally answered. We explained that we wanted our old deck removed and a new much smaller deck installed. The person told us they don’t do that and if we did want a deck installed it wood be 20 weeks before they could start. We were confused.

The guys were professional, did great work & got it done in only 2 days! The crew had an electrical issue caused by a saw being plugged into an outdoor outlet that in turn knocked out an outlet in the garage that just so happened to be where I had an extra fridge & freezer plugged into. Thankfully Michael got the issue resolved the next morning. Will be using The Deck Company again when I have my pergola redone this spring! Thanks again!Kurt C.

We had a terrific experience with this company on the construction of our screened-in deck addition. Everyone involved was dedicated, professional and friendly. Work was done on time and was of high quality. The worksite was always clean and tidy at the end of the day. Michael, the owner, supervised every aspect of the job until completion.

We chose The Deck Company a couple of years ago to build our dream deck. So glad we did! We honestly have the most beautiful deck I have ever seen. We bought a jacuzzi hot tub from them, as well. Its sets within our deck and has improved our quality of life. Theyre work is more than just your average deck, its art. Second to none in beauty and quality!

They built an amazing floating deck onto the front of my home. It immediately increased the asthetics and value to my house and I cant stop sitting on my big deck. I love inviting my neighbors to sit on it as well. I can get easily a comfortable dozen on my big ol deck and we all look amazing doing it. The coloring is increadible. Install began weeks after agreed upon date. Many arguments with install crew and the owner had to get involved to get the project back on track. Failed inspection by Nixa City. I spent the time and money to install fasteners to hold the rim joists in place. Be careful, be very careful!

The crew stayed late to beat the deadline they had originally given me. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. I am certain they have added a lot of value to my home. Would offer 0 if I could.The owner communicated unprofessionally with snarky emojis after numerous delays. I wish I had looked at Missouri court record and Better Business Bureau before signing a contract with them and waiting 3.5 months for our deck to be installed (which it hasnt to date).

This company went above and beyond to make things right. Our initial experience with them was very poor from a deck they built for us in 2017. We had many issues from the beginning, but learned this could have come from previous staff that has been since replaced for poor quality/unreliable work. The owner has since been involved personally with our complaints, and has replaced their previous work. He kept me updated the whole time, and our newly replaced deck appears to be exactly what we had always hoped for (quality & design). It says a lot for a company to make things right and make good on their companys promises, especially on a such a large purchase such new decking. I will certainly be recommending this company to anyone from this point forward.

Quite a few years back I spoke with what seemed like every company around that specialized in decks, and The Deck Company was the last one I spoke to. After dealing with Michael, I thought to myself that The Deck Company should be training all the other companies I spoke with on how to talk with homeowners and present their product. I may have written two or three reviews in my life but the quality from the first engagement until the end is beyond any business I have ever dealt with. As a business owner myself, and the son of a lifetime home builder, I have high expectations, and The Deck Company delivers on every front.

Micheal and the contractors who build the decks are fantastic. Craig and Jeremy the salesmen did an excellent job of pricing the deck within our budget. From the free estimate until the final inspection it was hassle free and a very pleasant experience.

The professional side really came thru. From the estimate to the completion, they made it easy for me. Having the crew that created my beautiful deck, hot tub, and pool all in the same building made it an easy choice for me. I will defiantly use The Deck Company this fall for my screened in patio! This is quality at its best.

They have the worst customer service. I had to call them three times in order to get a return call back. When I finally did get the return call back, I expected an apology, but instead Bob tried to tell me that I did not call them and had called someone else. I have never experienced customer service this bad. If its this bad at the beginning, then I wonder what their work ethics are like. I am definitely taking my business somewhere else.

Ive always wanted a beautiful deck. And am now ready to get one. From what Ive heard they build really nice ones. But upon dealing with a lady named Annete, I assume she and her husband are the owners from how she acted, I will be taking my business somewhere else. First of all, I called numerous times and never got a call back. Then when I finally got ahold of her she was extremely rude and acted like I was bothering her by calling. I just cant believe how she talked to me. If this is how they treat customers I dont see them being in business for very long. I will be sure to tell my neighbors.

I cant put in to words how Michael and his staff made this so easy. Michael saw that we were going through a lot of things and helped us big time. As for Annett she is amazing by keeping us in the loop. I want to give a special shout out to Kevin Tidwell for the great patio. I had them remove an old 2nd story deck on my walkout basement home and replace it with a much larger deck with 2 staircases. The old deck wasnt well built so I wanted to get a company that knew what they were doing for the new deck. The crew that worked on it were excellent (not part timers). The cuts are smooth and square, the railings are rock solid and they paid attention to detail (sanded the decorative cuts on the handrail posts - nice touch). I couldnt be happier with the results. They cleaned up the job site spotless before they left which is another big deal for me.I did have to wait two weeks for them to start which I expected due to this time of year and all the rain we have had this spring, but it was worth the wait.
