I was so amazed at the variety of offerings. They are definitely an Asian market and not just one type, such as Chinese or Korean. I found all variety of Asian fare, spices, sauces, noodles, seasoning, sauces - and all of it priced under what youd pay at a big chain store. They even offer some cooking utensils, dishes, and much sought after mortar & pestles. Look at my pictures to truly get the picture. I enjoyed shopping here and the ladies I met were sweet and friendly!A couple of people in earlier reviews gave negative score for the requirement to spend at least 15.00 to use a credit card. This is a little family run store - not a corporate box like Walmart. Businesses are not only charged a percentage of credit card sales, 3-7% - credit card companies also ding business is they dont go over a certain minimum number of charges. Its a number high enough that WalMart can meet it but rarely can a small store get that many charged transactions a month. Since they already have their prices at very reasonable low prices (I saw complaints about the store prices are high...totally bogus complaints) to get charges for letting the customer use a credit card is barely worth it - especially if they only sell.10-15.00 worth of food per customer. Business-wise it makes more sense for this store to mark everything up 2-7% to make up for that lost margin of costs/profits. But instead, they keep the prices low for us and hope we will use cash. Its not unreasonable to expect a customer to pay cash for a 15.00 or less purchase - but it is unreasonable for customers to expect the store to lose any profit for everything just so they can pay 1.00 for a cold drink or 2.50 for some snacks. This is one of the many reasons why local stores go out of business - WalMart can afford to pay the percentage surcharge, and they never have to worry about paying extra for surcharges because they didnt get enough credit card transactions in one month. To add to that, credit card companies want WalMart businesses because its guaranteed income - so the pot is sweetened by ensuring Walmart gets a lower percentage charge based on the larger sales. There is no incentives added for small business and, in fact, credit card companies actually penalize them for being too small.

Dark and narrow aisles, but nice variety. loved the fresh and frozen section. seemed to carry several different countries seasoning as I saw, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese. Will be returning.

I always love coming here! They have such a variety. If you can give them what you need in the language that food is in theyre always better help!! My go to spot for instant Miso soup and anything Im looking for to fix my family an oriental style meal!

Wonderful asian market with a large and diverse selection of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese goods. The owners are wonderful and outgoing. Fresh vegetables are available daily and occasionally fresh live seafood such as crabs, shrimp and clams.Highly recommended.Open Daily.

Pretty good for city size of Terre Haute

The store is on a little strip turn left and down the road but be careful because it is pushed back. It has things that you wont find in a regular grocery store if you are trying to do a little Asian cooking, help is very nice. Hope this helps

Neat store. Prices are not always the best but its a niche store. They have a lot of stock including fruits / vegetables, refrigerated, and frozen items.

The owner is kind and Im pleasantly surprised at the variety of East Asian grocery she carries. The store is well organized and easy to shop.

Unrefrigerated seafood and expired items. a $15 card minimum ensures I won’t return.

The odder was too much for me when I entered the store, so I left quickly. The prices are good and variety is nice.

Very good selection of dried and frozen products, many of which you cannot get anywhere else in town. Beware though, there is a 15$ minimum for card purchases, so be sure to have cash on hand if you are not wanting to spend too much.

We were really happy to Find an Asian grocery store last Sunday November 5th as We were Visiting Terra Haute. We got there around 7.15pm.I picked up few snack items mostly for $12. And my friend picked up few items as well. Overall they dont have a huge selection as it is a small store which is understandable.I was so happy to Find my Favorite brand Sky flakes that specialises in Crackers and I got the onion and Chive Flavour. The Crackers were so Stale and Tasted Horrible! I looked at the expiry date which is printed on the packaging in a small font and it Expired on March 18, 2017 !I picked up Durian Wafers and The whole night I kept Burping. They were pretty bad!Called up my friend and told her to check the expiry date on her stuff and she said she ate the toasted bread only to find out it was Expired too! She was pretty upset about it as well.Please check The expiry date on everything you buy. We are extremely disappointed that the store still had expired items on the Shelf.
