Very kind and friendly staff & the office was clean and organized! My son had his eyes checked for the first time, and the Optometrist took the time to explain everything regarding his need for glasses! We will definitely continue to use Visionworks for eye care needs in the future!

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I cannot get my prescription to order glasses online I can’t get my receipt for my appointment I’ve emailed three times given my information three times I haven’t been able to see for two weeks, customer service is big for me and this is pathetic. It’s been over a week of communication and have been told several times after leaving my information that I would be called…. Nothing!! I spent about 500$ on my appointment and I can even get a copy of my receipt…….I’m done with visionworks!!!

I was greeted with a friendly smile. Any question I had was answered promptly and the people are very courteous to every customer. The pricing is very reasonable also. I was able to get glasses and contacts for the price that I had gotten contacts only at other places. I really have a very enjoyable appointment. Thank you for being so caring and kind.

Great team. Many choices. My son qualified for free spectacles with our insurance. He had many options. Everything was done without much waiting. Great place.I also want to add they are very good with kids. Patient and kind.

The staff are friendly and the kids generally have a good selection to choose glasses from, but we were there 2 hours - with only about 30 minutes of it being because of us. Thats a long time for little kids to just be sitting and waiting with nothing to do.

The check-in woman who asked COVID screening questions was sweet and friendly.The woman who reviewed my insurance/HIPAA was wonderful.The woman who did my pre-exam tests wasn’t personable or friendly. She hurried me through the tests and was very short with me when giving instructions. She walked off toward the exam room while I was still gathering my belongings. She was not having a good day.The doctor was snippy with me in response to my questions. She was apathetic and irritable when I expressed concern about a pair of glasses I previously purchased at Visionworks but do not wear as my eyes can’t adjust.Six employees in the front area, but only one was capable of checking me out after my appointment. I didn’t have time to shop for frames, but had to wait ten minutes for the Retail Supervisor (who was very professional) to pay for my appointment.I understand the business model of a retail optometry practice, but over-booking appts causes harried staff; it’s reflected in their attitudes.Also, having check-ins, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, retail shopping, order placement and check-outs happening simultaneously at various tables in the same small lobby is too much. It feels a bit chaotic. More space is needed at this location.I may buy a pair of glasses, but I won’t book another exam here.

The staff was friendly and the optometrist was really good. Great explanations of my eye findings, nice, has an upbeat positive personality. I would highly recommend this facility!

I was treated with respect and Jill was amazing she helped me with everything from the time I walked in the door until I left. Happy with optometrist but about fell over when told over $400 for my total of one pair of glasses and exam. Then I was told 10 days to receive my new glasses but when I didnt hear anything I called on day 11 and was told not in yet and should be soon but not at all very helpful so then I called back again on day 13 and was told still not in. I said I was told 10 days and the lady responded Im sorry you were told that, it takes 10-14 days and we have been closed some of those days plus had a holiday in there. Pretty sure she is the same lady that helped me in the store and told me 10 days. Seriously lacking communication skills with customers. Very expensive. Pretty sure they lost a customer!

They are very nice people. and the store was clean and safe.

Not satisfied. Had appt today and the doctor had to leave. I work in a prison so I didnt get message. So they scheduled me for a week later. My glasses are broke and wearing last contacts. So I took my business else wear their not the only eye place around.

Very unhelpful. Incompetent would be a better description. Buyer beware. Better places are out there.

Made my third visit this week and feel confident to recommend this establishment. Great staff and multiple options for frames. Damon navigated me through my insurance options and helped me find the perfect frames. He took the time to explain all the options I had and made sure I knew everything before I made my decision. 5/5 would recommend. Also, I have a fairly large head and I found multiple frames that fit well.

Doctor Chen was very professional and explained some things to me that Id not heard before so I appreciate that knowledge. Taylor the optician was very efficient very friendly I couldnt have asked for a better experience there either. So yes they have my recommendations.

Clean, friendly environment. Many styles of frames and types of lenses to choose from. The Dr. Was very nice and helpful with my specific eye problems. Melissa Marks was incredibly easy to work with knowledgeable and patient as we picked out my frames and lenses. She incorporated my insurance and help pick a package that was affordable yet keeping my eye health in mind. Great at what they do.

Do not buy glasses here!!! I purchased a pair in June, and not even 2 months later, the temple broke. They wanted to charge me $30 for a replacement. I have glasses that I have owned for years that are still in good shape. I really like the optometrist, but not their cheap, shoddy glasses.

Very rude! Do not recommend at all!! They take their sweet time even when your in a rush. The only person that was helpful was the younger doctor.

I just received an eye exam and purchased a pair of glasses. There was no wait and my insurance paperwork was already compiled and ready prior to my visit. You can fill out forms online too to save time. The doctor was efficient and pleasant. The staff members assisted me in selecting a pair of glasses which was much appreciated. They also took the time to review my insurance coverage differences from my previous visit that I requested. The glasses came in 2 days later! Very quick turnaround.

Very helpful staff. I feel everyone I dealt with was working to give me the best product at the best price. They had a large frame selection with a wide price range. Lots of options that were patiently and well explained. My wife and I have purchased glasses here before and the customer care here is as good as we remember it.

Best service ever! Wonderful staff, very friendly, willing to spend the time it takes to select the perfect glasses and adjust them for a perfect fit. Great selection too with many brands to choose from. You can keep it simple and cheap or spend some dough and get the best tech available, they have it all. Ill never go anywhere else ever again.

Ran through like cattle. Eye exam executed unprofessionaly and inaccurately. Employee all but called me a liar while continually interrupting me. Spent over a hundred dollars going on two weeks ago and have absolutely nothing in return to show for it. Feeling robbed!

Charles helped me find the perfect pair of glasses. While he was on the phone with my insurance his coworker checked in on us to make sure we didnt need help. I loved that Charles told me what would be covered by my insurance and what would be my responsibility. With all the eye glass places in Terre Haute you can bet I will be returning here!

After moving from southern Illinois to Terre Haute a year ago, I needed to find an optometrist that was here in the area. I always look at reviews whenever I am in the market to purchase items or to read reviews about a business. I found that Visionworks had a lot of positive reviews of the staff and the deals that they received. Those reviews definitely did not disappoint me! The staff were all so helpful and incredibly kind!!! They took their time to list all the costs of glasses and contacts for me. They have a huge selection of frames to choose from as well, so it was difficult for me to choose just one pair! If you are in need of visiting an optometrist, I highly recommend Visionworks.

This location has helped us a bunch lately, and went above and beyond to take care of what we needed. And I wound up not paying as much as I feared. I go to them for everything eye care related and have been seeing them for a couple of years now. I’ve been really pleased overall. Good people who go out of their way to help.

Dont waste your time here. It doesnt matter if you scheduled an appointment a month in advance, you shouldnt have to wait 45 minutes or more beyond your appointment. Especially as they are taking people who walk in the door with no appointment.

I took my daughter to vision works for glasses and worked with Jill Chambers and she was great! It was our first time buying glasses for her and Jill took extra time to help us pick out the best pair for her. We will definitely be going back! If you go, ask for Jill!!

My youngest son has kidney disease so I was very uneasy about going anywhere but I needed to get my glasses taken care of. They came out to the car wore gloves and masks. Took care of my glasses right there in the parking lot!i didn’t have to put me or my family at risk! Thank you so so much!

Today I took my elderly mother for an eye exam. I was impressed how professional, knowledgeable and attentive the staff was. They all went above and beyond to help us. I was amazed by their kindness. I would highly recommend them!

Staff is friendly and more than happy to sell you something, but only 1 person can make the adjustments appropriately which is very frustrating . If they sell you glasses, they should know how to adjust them . I was quickly told by one staff member I offended her, she had 20 years of experience, when I told her after the minor adjustment they were now crooked on my face and not even sitting behind my ear. Now i sit waiting for the 1 person to come to work while Im missing my own job.

My husband said he got the best eye exam ever today at Visionworks, Terre Haute, IN. And we were both very pleased with the technician who assisted with glasses afterwards.

First of all they are so slow, and the DR. Didn’t read the paper work and gave me the wrong eye exam then they wanted me to wait even longer to get the correct exam done I couldn’t wait. Then when I called to speak with the manager they conveniently wasn’t there so I left my name and number and there manager didn’t even call me back. Over all horrible experience I would say don’t go there go somewhere else

The staff was very friendly. The environment was clean and welcoming. We had an issue with a contact order from another store and they made it right and then some. The prices are very fair. HIGHLY recommend.

My experience didn’t start out the best. I had a few problems with my purchase. After talking with the GM about my issues they were fixed promptly. The employees aren’t afraid to step up and admit if they make a mistake. I would definitely recommend Visionworks.

After going to EyeMart I was so wary of any place in town but I had the most wondferful experience. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to. They helped me fix some insurance issues and were very personable. The doctor was quiet and gentile, knowledgeable and easygoing. I took one star off because my glasses were astronomical. $550 before insurance is QUITE a markup for glasses.

From the floor staff to the optometrist they are all fantastic. Feels like they actually care about their job and how you look. I mostly have delt with Andee (not sure if I spelled it right) believe she is the manager. Couldnt be nicer if she tried, I think she deserves a raise!

This place is great! Got my glasses here almost a year ago and I still come in and help me tighten my glasses and whatever else I need!

The staff was very nice but got glasses next day and ear pieces we already broke can see distance well but up close can’t see at all with glasses and the retail supervisor told me that I needed to fully extend my arms to read and still haven’t got replacement glasses yet

There glasses are always in order and in the right places until people move them . There nice when you get an exam on youre eyes.In there drawers there are cheaper glasses for $69.99 .You can get 2 pairs of glasses for$69.99.
