Moved last week from Boston to DC. Rep called to confirm the move and parking details, called again to confirm day before, and was very communicative they the whole process. Day of, the movers (Carlos and Jose are the two names I remember) arrived on time and prepared, packaged everything extremely carefully but quickly. They (4 movers total) had me packed and loaded in an hour. On arrival, all materials unpacked and nothing missing in an hour and a half as well. On time, and nothing was damaged. Amazing service, very professional, and worth every dollar taking lots of stress out of the move. Thank you Carlos!

Their team of movers was incredibly fast, efficient, and careful with all my items. They had a fairly easy move since everything was already packed in one place moving from storage, but they still conducted everything as fast as possible. These guys were unbelievable. The team that moved me not only took all the items I had requested, but even squeezed in some other huge things I would have needed to move myself. They moved my stuff into the new place much faster than I had budgeted for, fixed the leg on a table that had been loose for years, and were professional and affordable. I booked a move with Lexel last minute and had a conflicting experience. While the movers who did my pick up were great, my drop off experience was a mess. They gave me a drop off window of noon to three but showed up around 4pm. The movers didn’t want to rebuild the furniture that was broken down for moving and storage and seemed confused when I asked them to, even though this has been standard with every moving company I have used before. They also didn’t take any of their trash when they left and left me with trash to clean up and a big mess

This was my second move with Lexel and I definitely recommend. They were on time, efficient, patient and did an incredible job. But I hope management ensures they are taking care of their staff. I didnt realize that the movers would be asked to drive back from an inter-city move very late at night -- after moving us out of an apt, driving 5 hours, and into another one in the same day. I dont know if that is standard in the industry, but it definitely concerned me.

Our origin location was on the third floor and it was a very hot and humid day, but the team was still quick, thorough and friendly. I had positive experience with Lexel. They are very professional, 3 movers moved all furniture of a two bedroom apartment in 3 hours as they promised (we moved to a different apartment in the same building). One queen bed was old and custom made, and its disassembly and move required a lot of effort. They did an excellent job moving it. I strongly recommend them.

Im surprised by all the positive reviews - I had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. I had a move booked for 9am, with the loading dock reserved in my new apartment for noon-3pm. The night before the move we talked to the movers and confirmed theyd be there around 9 am, with 11 am being the absolute latest theyd show up. The day of the move comes and they do not show up at 9am... they do not show up by 11 am... the main office tried to call the movers and eventually stopped communicating with us and answering our calls. So now were stuck, no movers, no idea whats going on. Two movers finally showed up after 1 pm and they were both really tired from having done another job earlier that morning. They moved extremely slowly and took eight hours for what should have been a four hour job. We also missed our move-in window at the new apartment, to which I had to make several phone calls and frantically re-schedule a loading dock for us on what was already a stressful day. I cannot say enough bad things about this move. The two guys were so slow, tired, and inefficient that my boyfriend had to do several hours of the moving himself just so the job would get done. This move cost four figures to move a one-bedroom 20 minutes down the street. Never, ever again with this company.

This is the second time Ive used Lexel Moving in the last 2 years, and both times were EXCELLENT! We moved to a different apartment right at the beginning of the pandemic and they were efficient, professional, safe and wonderful. All of our big stuff was wrapped and taken care of, as well as a huge piano my wife has from her stepmom. We then found a house a year later and loved them so much that I inquired yet again about their moving services and received the same great customer service from both the staff answering the phones as well as the movers! We actually got the same foreman in the moving crew from the first move and he remembered me and was very friendly and professional. HIGHLY recommend their services if youre looking to move!!

Had to relocate from Boston to Chicago. Alex from Lexel made it very easy for us to get a free estimate immediately. Once we made the booking, 5 guys came on the day of the move on the agreed time. It took them 2 hours to wrap up our 2 bedroom townhome. Everything was wrapped and handled very carefully and the people were very professional. We had opted for storage for a week. Upon reaching Chicago and finding an apartment we called them for delivering and they promised to deliver in 2 business days and delivered on time. This time it was 2 men and took around 2 hours to unload and assemble furniture as well. Very minor wear and tear but Overall I’m very happy and satisfied with the service. I would definitely recommend lexel for in state or out of state moving.

I looked into Lexel Moving upon a friends recommendation after deciding to hire movers for my local move this past weekend and Im pleased with the experience.I reached out for a quote online back in January and received a call back within the hour (as opposed to never hearing back from other moving companies).The day of, the movers showed up within the specified time range and were friendly and efficient. The whole move took about two hours and came out to within the estimated quote.One thing to note is that my couch got scuffed up on one side during the process. I was hands off the entire time since I trusted them and didnt want to get in the way, but in hindsight I shouldve specifically asked that they use the furniture pads that are advertised as included online. Not a huge deal, but a good thing to note for future moves.Aside from that I would definitely hire Lexel again!

We used Lexel Moving for our late March move from Central to Eastern MA and it went great. They dropped off plastic crates 2 weeks before the move and picked them up 2 wks after the move to give us time to unpack. The entire moving crew was personable, very efficient, and careful with all items being moved, and discussed any options with us regarding how to pack and move certain items. Once to our new home, they moved in all items without any damage to the walls or the furniture, and had some great suggestions about where certain furniture items should be placed. When calling to confirm the crate pickup 2 weeks after our move, I mentioned that wed like to move 2 pieces of furniture from the 2nd floor to first floor and basement, and Alex said not a problem and no charge for that. The 2 crew members took care of those items very quickly when they picked up the crates. Lexel is fairly priced, on time, and easy to work with. We highly recommend Alex and Lexel and expect we will use them again, and you should too!

Move was performed well. However, the crew chief tried, unsuccessfully, to upsell the move cost from $1,250 to $2,500 with no accompanying rationale when the move was well within the scope of services retained (# of hours, # of crew, items moved per order description, etc.). Just watch yourself and be prepared to push back on any crazy upsell attempts.

Needed to get moved all the big appliances they moved removed doors shelves drawers to the frige and moved and put all back together beds and dressers. This is what they do and who they are. Best money I have ever spent!

No breakage, packed well. Whole operation smooth and stress free. Really appreciated.

Excellent Job. I moved a large 1 bedroom out to a storage facility. They showed up on time, and were efficient. Everything was cleanly wrapped and secured by them and the cost of materials were fair. The movers were extremely polite and hard-working. The entire job cost me roughly 570, which was well worth it for 4 hours of neat, courteous, hard-work. I will certainly use their services again.

We are very pleased with LEXEL moving services who handled our move from Boston, MA to Dallas, TX. The moving team (four strong guys!) was very professional and careful with our belongings, they were very thorough with making sure that everything was well wrapped, documented, secured and fitting properly in the truck. They took care of disassembly and reassembly of all our furniture which made our moving much easier. Lexel movers are excellent. I packed our own belongings. They were very careful with our boxes and especially our furniture. We have a few pieces that are very special to us. They worked quickly despite the fact they had to deal with my 4 floor townhouse. At my new home, they rolled out my carpets and set up the beds and were attentive to put the furniture and boxes in the appropriate places and rooms. The 4 man crew was punctual, very friendly and a pleasure to work with during the 7 hour job. I will definitely use them again on my next move.

This was our third time using Lexel as movers and every time they are superb! We had Yeisen and Jose this past move; those two honestly deserve awards! They had an awesome attitude, were outrageously friendly, and most of all, cranked our move out super fast! We had a little hiccup with the freight elevator in the new apartment and they pivoted flawlessly and still got the truck unloaded in about an hour which floored us! They also started the move off by saying “We’re going to get you through this as fast as possible” which as a consumer paying by the hour, I really appreciated! We moved our household from Massachusetts to North Carolina. We made the move as efficient as possible by packing all our goods in boxes in the garage and moving all the furniture to one level. Five men wrapped the furniture, disassembled the (one) bed, and loaded a 26-ft box truck in one hour. At the other end, two men unloaded an placed all of the goods in two hours. The pickup was early one morning, the delivery noon the next day. Every aspect of the move was perfect.

Lexel Movers were great! From day one we loved the service! Free in-home estimate service was scheduled for the next day after we called to get a quote. We asked for a flat moving price and Ross kindly assured that our total bill will not exceed the estimated price and the promise was kept - it even took the professional movers less time to complete our move then originally quoted! The move went extremely well. Two movers showed up on the early end of the window they had provided, after texting their anticipated arrival time to my brother. They professionally and efficiently loaded the apartment furnishings and boxes into the moving truck, helped us box a few items (such as lampshades) and carefully wrapped all the furniture with blankets. Moving estimate was provided in a detailed way with description of services and additional charge for the travel time. In the end move was completed in less time than estimated with no damages!

After my mother in law got sick, we needed a reliable company to move her to us.She lived far and we needed a good local company to help us. To make sure she was taken care of, because if not I promise not only would I hear it from her but also from my wife.It was a big request, and I wanted to make sure they could get the job done. When I called Lexel, I explained I needed her moved and packed. I also let them know she might be a little picky on what the movers do. They seemed to understand and above all they were able to do the job at a affordable rate.They did everything well. My mother in law was packed, moved and when they showed up they had to be the most professional set of people I have came across!Not only was my mother in law happy but my wife was happy. Im so glad I called them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They called me in the middle of the move and said they were charging me an additional $175 for items they had moved that were not on the list even though I never asked them to take anything additional, they were going to charge me another $375 to go back to my house which was 10 miles away to get the reaming items they couldn’t get on the small truck they brought, they were extremely slow, they damaged my floors in several places as well as my wall, and they dropped my dryer which then needed to be repaired. I filed a claim for the damage and they only gave me $100 back which is obviously insufficient to repair any of the damage they caused.I have never written a review before and I hate to complain but I am hoping I will save someone from the absolute horror show this company caused me and my family. I have never been so disappointed by a service that I paid so much for.

LEXEL guys are diligent....Its my immense pleasure to mention that LEXEL guys did a wonderful job in moving my furniture in Weston, MA. They were nice in manners, diligent in nature, and very cautious about moving items. In general, moving companies got a bad name. However, LEXEL made a difference. Awful company. Had multiple issues with the office, specifically Russ, one of the owners Had a two day move (one day to pack up my old house, one day to unload into my new house, with overnight storage between the two days). Despite me over estimating the rundown of the items to be moved, they came with a big box truck, and a small box truck. I thought no big deal, as long as they fit everything. Midway through the move, the owner, Russ came and exchanged the small second truck for a bigger truck. I thought that was great, but my items still did not fit. What’s worse, is he did not accurately estimate the required trucks even after seeing my items first hand (and even after some of his workers told him he would need to leave a third truck). I had to borrow a 14 foot trailer from a friend, which the workers loaded up for me. What an inconvenience, especially when you are paying a company thousands of dollars to be responsible for this.Fast forward to the second day. My “time of arrival” quoted to me was between 12:00 and 2:00. The movers did not get there until 4:00, with no call until I hounded the office with 4 calls (3 of which had no response). Now, when I finally got through to the office, Russ stayed that “It was no big deal,” they were running a little late. It may not have been a big deal to him, but it was a big deal to a family with 2 kids under two, and their entire household of items 2 hours late. When I stated that I had not received a call from anyone that the truck was late, and that the arrival time of 12:00 and 2:00 was an “estimate” (which it does not say in their own online portal), I also stated that Lexel did not uphold their side of the contract and I would not pay until everything was up to standard. Russ threatened to call his two trucks and turn them around WITH MY ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD of belongings. You can be sure I had the police dialed ready to call if the trucks were not there by 4:00, which was the new quoted time.After all this, while the movers were unloading the trucks, I received an email from Russ saying he apologized for the delay and he would take $50.00 off the price. On a $3,000 move. $50.00. How insulting. That’s about 1% of the cost. All I was looking for was better communication from the office that the crew was running late. Obviously the office scheduled them for a big job, followed by move, which was a large job. Better scheduling by the office could have avoided all of this. And when the crew was running two hours late, a simple phone call from the office would have been sufficient. I would have been annoyed, but not angry.I will say that the moving crew was respectful and professional. And extremely hard working. Can’t say the same for the so-called owner of the company. Will not give another dime to this place. And certainly will not recommend to anyone else. Anyone going through a move knows how stressful it is. The last thing you want to have to deal with is an outfit like this place.

Lexel moved us 3 month ago and we just finished unpacking all the boxes. The was fast and easy. All the items arrived in good condition. After opening all the boxes - no damaged pieces were found! What else can you ask for? Thank you for the job well done!

The movers are great. I couldnt have asked for a better set of people. Im so glad I went with them!

Lexel Moving helped us move my fathers estate from California to Massachusetts and did it on an amazing timeline! Their employees were respectful and fast working, knowing exactly how to breakdown an old family grandfather clock. I would recommend them to anyone at anytime!

Hiring movers was absolutely worth it - never again I will offer my friends some pizza and beer to help me move all my stuff.Movers were on time, worked hard without taking brakes, moved my furniture carefully. All very nice guys. Wicked fast, knew exactly what they were doing at every turn. Moving across town, from start at the old place to finishing at the new, only took them 2 hours. Included disassembling and reassembling a bed. Would use Lexel again in a heartbeat.

I have moved by myself 6 times in the past 8 years and was NOT going to do it again. Shopped prices of most Boston Movers then contacted Lexel Movers and got an amazing rate. Did the math and it turned out to be the same amount I would have spent on renting a truck and feeding my friends for helping me. Lexel guys were amazing and wasted absolutely no time. They were in and out and actually finished earlier than estimated. Highly recommend these guys to anyone that is moving.

Lexel is awesome.They moved some beds for me from Medford to Billerica yesterday. The guys were great. They were on time, called me when they were 20 minutes away. They worked real fast, wrapped everything to keep it clean and the recipients on the other end were just as delighted. Very reasonably priced. Thank you Lexal.
