Took my ring in to have it cleaned and the man helping us told me the prongs on my setting needed replaced along with 25 small prongs on the band. Estimated it was close to 1,000 to repair it and started showing us new settings to buy. Was very pushy. We left and went to 2 other jewelers to have it inspected and both told us there was absolutely nothing wrong with my ring. Apparently this is not the first time either jeweler has heard of this happening from this location.

A couple other staff members were fine for help (a mix up and a different sizing issue). You will love your experience at Helzbergs if you get the chance to work with Kimberly! She was great help and fixed these issues for us quickly!

I have a necklace purchased from them several years ago and the chain was kinkied and they were not able to repair it, so I had to have it replaced. Since they do not have that necklace anymore they made me purchase a gold chain separately, at full price of $449, total was $577 with the protection plan, and only offered to cover sautering charge. This was on a necklace that was covered by their protection plan. We were not offered the replacement chain at a discount. We did not receive any thanks for being a loyal customers - we have purchased several pieces from them. Then they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked to have the broken chain returned to me (since it is gold) because they just thought the scraps would go to the jeweler, but I insisted a whole gold chain is obviously more than scraps since I just paid $449 for the replacement. Then they agreed to give me my broken chain. I dont know if their lifetime protection plan is worth it if it only covers items they currently sell. The staff were nice.

The in-store customer service we received was good. However, we sent my set out to have it resized, and after two weeks, I called to check if it was back or not. Not only was it not back, but they hadn’t even started on it. I got “well, the jeweler must have been super busy.” The woman that I spoke with was impatient and kept sighing like she had better things to do.I talked with 3 other big-name jewelry stores in the area, and they said they are getting their repairs back in 7-10 days and without delay.Won’t be making anymore purchases from them.

Their in store service is incredible. I would give it 5 stars if their phone service wasnt terrible I would have better luck finding a $100 bill on the ground then having them answer their phone when Ive called a half dozen times over the last week at different times from opening to closing never once have a gotten an answer. And yes Ive double checked the number to make sure its right.

Staff is very helpful and knowledgable. Jewelry is a bit pricey but well worth it for wedding rings and speciality items. Their lifetime warrenty including checks and cleaning is excellent.

Went to get our jewelry checked and cleaned.. walked in and the man was rude. Drove 45 minutes to get there, went to the Valley West Store first, only to find out that it was closed.. and dont care for the Merle Hay store.. my husband and I have decided we will only buy new jewelry at from the Helzbergs at Coralville store. Lady helping us also said she wouldnt be able to check jewelry on Saturday, but there were 8-10 employees working in there really small store, an only 3 customers.. so, why wouldnt they be able to help us!! We took in 3 times the amount of jewelry into another jewelry store a few weeks ago on a weekend with 2 people working and they checked and cleaned it all with no problem..

Drive from Ankeny to Jordan Creek to have my wife’s wedding ring inspected and cleaned because it’s the only location open. I was told they aren’t cleaning and inspecting their product because of COVID but they will sign our inspection card. Or I can buy another ring or item that has been handled by other people. If you’re that scared of it then put gloves on when you handle someone’s item. NEVER again buying from Helzberg which is probably not a big deal for them but I will share with others.

I didn’t catch his name, but the man working at the counter today was incredibly rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I just came in to get my ring inspected and cleaned, and was so rude that I left without getting anything done. A complete waste of my time and a huge disappointment.

I went ring shopping here for the first time ever in December 2019 and had a terrible experience. I wish I had the sales associates name to share, but she wrote me off so quickly that I couldnt have asked it if I wanted to. I walked in, had a picture/idea in mind, but she couldnt hardly be bothered when I said it was my first time shopping. I have to assume she figured I wouldnt make a purchase or that I looked young and couldnt afford their selection. Either way, she did not take the time to find out. I did have a good experience at Helzberg Diamonds at the Merle Hay Location however and gave them a 5 star review.

Justin and Matt are very professional and truly care about their customers. They are very easy to work with and know a lot about their products. Would recommend them to everybody whos in the market for some nice jewelry.

The Jordan Creek Helzberg jewelers is my go to for all my jewelry I get amazing customer service I know that I’m getting good quality every time my jewelry has gotten dirty I bring it back in whenever im through the mall and they are happy to see me again and happy to clean my jewelry .
