Awesome Service & Great Deck ViewHad a tasty lunch on the deck overlooking the marina. Tried one of their grilled chicken Panini pesto sandwiches. It was delicious, with sweet potato fries. Great place to stop for a quick lunch overlooking the marina. Place orders inside and grab a table. Our server, Rob, was so helpful and courteous. We will return and will highly recommend.

Stopped in for a bite to eat ... Didnt expect the place to be as beautiful as it was .. From the outside it looks small. Plenty of room. I ordered the portabella wrap....I loved it... Process very reasonable. Staff very friendly. Owner was also pleasant. I hope to return in the near future.

The Downtown Grille Café is located in downtown Wolfeboro across the street from the post office and is open for breakfast and lunch. Ive been there many times for lunch and have ordered something different every time. Prices are fair, taste is good, quality is there, and service is friendly. Very nice, comfortable, clean dining area in the backroom with nice water views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the town docks. There is also a small semi-private room where you can have a quick informal meeting or a short family gathering. The Grille is adjacent to Cate Park which makes it convenient for grab and go with breakfast items and sandwiches to enjoy outside dining on the benches there. Nice selection of coffees.

We have eaten here several times. Consistently great food and coffee(s) with friendly, attentive service. Great menu variety and they offer specials. Organized and efficient during busy/rush hours. Great atmosphere inside or on the deck. Very clean.My 9yos input: It shall be known as the Best French Toast Place EVER...In The World! And the hot chocolate is really good too.An option that stands above the rest.

Great grub for both dine in and take out! Many choices for hot and cold sandwiches with options for customizations. Plenty of drink choices including alcohol for dine in. Pretty decent view of the lake in the very casual dining room. Great option for kids and picky eaters, theres definitely something for everyone. It can get busy but thats just another testament for how good it is.

We both had the market omelet and wheat toast combo. Despite being very, very busy this Sunday, the staff was very accommodating. Food selection was so good. We will go back soon!

Asked for a fully cooked egg for my sandwich, egg was runny and gross. Some people like that stuff not me. Asked for a cooked again, they took the sandwiches then came back a few minutes later and said it was just the cheese?? Just asked for my money back, it’s really not hard to just cook a egg. Will not be returning, this was our second choice anyway for good reason

My daughter had a hockey game nearby so we arrived early and searched for breakfast in the area and picked here do to rating and number of reviews. We were sure glad we did. Prices are very reasonable and portions are big. I had the eggs Benedict and with the size of the English muffins they use and the amount of actual carved ham that was piled on top was incredible. Im 6ft, 200 lbs and I definitely left satisfied. Daughter got the waffle and I had a bite of that and was impressed with how soft and fluffy it was but still had a nice crisp on the exterior, flavor of the batter was very good as well. If Im in the area again Im definitely going back, told all the other parents about our find as well.

Simple and nice sandwich options, including gluten free. Got a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce on gluten free bread. It was a great, quick, and easy meal.

We go to this place first thing on every Wolfeboro trip! Absolutely delicious sandwiches/paninis and they are incredible when it comes to gluten allergies. I can basically eat anything on the menu which is such a wonderful experience. And the view?!😍

I’m not really sure how this restaurant has 4 1/2 stars. Gluten-free, not so much. The lobster roll was great but it was $25 and the only side I could get were potato chips. and my friend sandwich came with just a sandwich no side no chips no fries no nothing. The bill was around $50 for the two sandwiches. NOPE

Stopped in while passing through, had wanted to try prior but they are a breakfast/lunch only style place. Good food, fair prices, and nice folks. We had a couple of beers too and they didnt price gouge us, we’ll definitely stop back in next time we’re in town via boat. Nice to find another lunch option with something other than your typical bar fair type food. Thanks gang. Looking forward to trying a bread bowl next time!

Friendly place to pick up lunch. Huge sandwiches & homemade chips. Everyone in our group enjoyed their lunch - and the interesting menu made it hard to choose.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, the tables in the back have a beautiful view of Lake Winnipesaukee. They serve breakfast and lunch, their breakfast wraps are packed with Ingredients. Customers are given a choice of wrap flavors to choose from. Lots of tea choices, the chai latte in a large mug seems like it keeps refill itself.

Absolutely friendly staff, the blackberry creme latte was delicious and so was the food. Every single time I come in its just a really really good experience.

Have been going there for BLT’s for the last three years and they are the best I have had. Went there today and was surprised as the bacon was the thin precooked kind and the lettuce was soggy. Sorry but won’t be going there again!!

Perfect for breakfast and take away lunch

We did not go to this place, but rather to the pet supply place next to it. That area has on street parking so sometimes we may park in front of the restaurant, but have NEVER been inside.

Food and service were good. Masks were worn, but no attempt was made to sanitize tables between users. According to locals at next table, they have refused to do so. So for now, thumbs down.

Ordered take out here during Labor Day week and the kitchen somehow figured out how to keep the eggs, in the Eggs Benedict, perfectly runny when pierced. This is despite it being take out, us having a 15 minute drive to where we were eating, and having a toddler. Whoever figured that out needs a raise! Even if it was dumb luck, we will still be ordering take out again.

Ive been here multiple times and have ordered something different every time. I can honestly say I have not had anything I didnt love! You cant go wrong with whatever you order. Sit out on the deck and watch the boats on the lake when you go.

Western omelette had an overpowering flavor of ham and raw peppers. They failed to give me bacon I ordered. The toast was good as well the lake side view.

My son go to Brewster Academy took us to this nice restaurant in town and Wolfeboro. New Hampshire great food and atmosphere and great scenery

A bit confusing when we arrived, but soon sorted it out. Order in line at register, Get a number and grab a table. Indoor seating, but several tables outside on porch overlooking lake.

Got both of my coffee and food order wrong but it only took a sec to fix and everything was pretty good otherwise. Nice location and looks good inside. Employees all seemingly got along well together and were overall pleasant. I would come here again. Ive only been here once

Delicious omelettes, good coffee, lovely view of water, free wifi. Hood place for casual meetings with friends. Drawback for some: order at the counter, clear your own dishes.

Decent quality. Convenient on Main Street. Moderately careful with sanitation and covid precautions.

This is a more upscale place than I usually frequent. Rather more Cambridge, Massachusetts than Vacation Land, NH. You order coming in, but the wait staff delivers the order to your table. The coffee is self service. The view of the Lake is nice and the staff even nicer. Theyll clean up after you. Since you pay as you come in, you may want to tip well.

Our hotel recommended the Downton Grill for breakfast. We stayed overnight at the lovely Lake Wentworth Inn. We checked out just after 11 and headed to the restaurant. It is an order at the counter and seat yourself kind of place. They had a seating area overlooking the lake! I was very excited to see that they had Deans Beans Coffee in bags on display and the menu looked great. My excitement quickly disappeared when my boyfriend noticed they only serve breakfast until 11am. I had just heard the couple in front of us order breakfast, so I asked the young woman at the counter if they were still serving breakfast? She replied I dont think so... Very sad to hear that & also unfortunate for them to lose out on a $50+ sale (there were 4 of us). I get it, it can be tough to cook both breakfast and lunch on the same grill at the same time, but they agreed to do it for the couple in front of us and it was only 11:30am on a Sunday.

The chili is very good. This is the only place around that can make me a soy chai latte. The line can be long but I think its worth the wait. Good customer service. One orders, picks a table, and then the food is delivered to your table. Nice view and some patio seating.

Food was very good. We were there about 9:30 on a Sunday morning. They were efficient in taking orders. The place was packed. I thought they did very well for the crowd, but if you are impatient I am sure you will just make everyone miserable.Sit outside if you can, but realize half of your people will have their backs to the water.This place does have air conditioning.

Good basic breakfast and coffee place. Nice view of water if you get a table near window. Has outside seating which would be nice on a warmer day than today.

Visiting my sister in the area. She had been here before and recommended it lunch. I had an avocado blt that was yummy. She had the tuna melt. Both were exceptional. They have an outside deck unfortunate it was raining and we had to sit inside.

This is a very good place to get a good breakfast or lunch. Everything is freshly made. It is very popular. In summer time they have a outdoor deck with some tables overlooking the docks.

I wanted to like this place. Perfect location in town but the food was not good. The ultimate grilled cheese came out cold, with unmelted cheese. The onion rings were also cold. The chicken & brie sandwhich was under cooked & under seasoned. The only good thing was their cookies.

I’ve been to this cafe numerous times, but no more. The coffee is good, but to be charged a dollar for a to-go cup is rather cheap/greedy, especially when you consider the profit from a simple black coffee.There are many other welcoming cafes for a cup of coffee, no need to stop here anymore.

This cafe is a little slice of an urban coffee shop in the heart of Wolfeboro. The food was really good, and even when the place was jam-packed, the service was quick and pleasant. The atmosphere was great, with a lovely patio overlooking the lake. (with the drawback of Fox News blaring on the televisions within). It is worth noting that this place sports big city prices along with the big city fancy food and drink, but for people used to spending that anyway, it doesnt disappoint.

Nice place. Cozy seating, clean bathroom, great lake view. The California panini with avocado, bacon, pesto and turkey was delicious. Parking out back, on-street or in the nearby lot.

Food is very good but service is frustrating. The past three times we have gone the order has been screwed up, I had to go back into the line in order to reorder the missing food. They have some training to work on.

Stopped by for breakfast. Good coffee, great English muffin, terrible French toast (painted on egg wash; like eating thick toast), good eggs, and unusual corned beef hash--under browned and luke warm. I gave it 1 star each for the muffin and coffee.

Ultimate grilled cheese was the best Ive ever had and the tomato basil soup was so hearty and delicious. I will definitely come again when in the area.

Nice selection for lunch with a pleasant staff. We had nice seating on a Rear terrace facing Lake Winnipesaukee with a good view of the harbor the docks and the park nextdoor that was full of painters. Worth a stop for a snack or lunch

Corn beef hash is one of my comfort foods & I havent had better. The staff knows their stuff & displays pride in what they do. The consideration of a help yourself to coffee mug refills works. The layout & decor is clean & uncluttered. Its unpretentiously comfortable & doesnt compete with the view of Wolfeboro Bay. This review is not a gift. Im going back, Im bringing friends & Ill edit it as needed.

The food was great, but the service was lousy. Being from out of town I was not impressed. Because I did not know exactly what to do there wasnt much guidance. Read the menu from behind the counter standing in line, give your order. Receive your order. If you want extras you have to go and get them yourself behind the counter!? Which was a little odd to me. And you clear your own table.

Great addition to What since out last visit! Good breakfast but no outside seating was available for us. Well sit outside next time!

Amazing shops, fun times

My wife had the mixed green salad. It was very fresh with great ingredients. I had the turkey cranberry grille. It was perfectly grilled with the right amount of ingredients. The taste was exceptional.

Great ambiance. Looks like it has a deck that goes right out onto the Wolfboro town docks. Closed up in Winter though. A good selection of cafe food - sandwiches paninis wraps and baked goods.

Conveniently located near Mount Major for grilled cheese sandwich, salad, or coffee after nature walk. Come here for the view of the lake during autumn and sit on the patio desk. I had the chili burger and Bad Lab pale ale beer. Burger was bland and dry but well decorated with chili beans. Fries were lifeless and tasteless but had a pleasant textured crunch. Needed the beer to wash the meal down.
