A wide variety of craft brews, well known brands of beer, and wine. I love this place because I always find something new here.

Well curated section of all types of whiskeys: scotch, Irish, American, Japanese, you name it. I cant speak to the other sections as I spent all my time in the whiskey aisle, which is worth 5 stars alone. The fact that theres other booze there is just gravy.

Great selection of alcohol, however refused to serve me because my license was vertical. I am over 21 years old with a government issued ID.

Devin and Amber made my shopping experience a breeze. Their knowledge on wine selection and product location in the store made the ease of finding the perfect NYE selection. Store is clean orderly and staff is super friendly.

So ... Chris is the man when it comes to scotch. He let me taste a few bottles. Talked for about 30 minutes even though I wasnt buying anything that day. Cant wait to go and try some new stuff.

Wonderful liquor store with great pricing and great staff. I recently purchased all of my alcohol for my wedding here and the manager, Dan, was wonderful with the whole process. He helped us determine exactly how much alcohol we would need for our guests and he was spot on!

Went to this store tonight with my wife who was buying product. While my wife was paying the clerk ask to see my id I said Why? I was not purchasing anything. I had to show id so my wife could purchase product?? This is a first in my 60 years..Live and learn never again....

These people are awesome! I live right behind the shopping center that they are located in but we are in the middle of a rain storm so I took an uber over today and went in and made a purchase. When i got back to my apartment complex i realized i didnt have my key fab. I thought for sure it had to be in the uber so I tried 10 times to get ahold of the driver literally seconds after being dropped off. In a last ditch effort I called beards hill Liquors and said I think I may have left my key fab on your counter could you please take a look, its really small and looks like a guitar pic. A few minutes later the guy gets back on the phone and asks what color it is. Then he says yea I found it in the parking lot. It was pouring down rain and not only did he look where I told him that I thought I had left it but he went out of his way and walked out in the rain to look for a little tiny key...... pretty awesome right? .... it doesnt end there! He even offered to drive it over to me. I cant express my gratitude. Thank you so much guys. Only place that I will shop from now on. Also the cashier that rang me up was extremely friendly.

Best selection of booze that I know of in Harford County. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Really nice new location that is much more spacious than before.

Nice clean liquor store. Staff was helpful. They have a decent selection at decent prices.I have to say theyd get 5 stars based solely on the fact they had the mini Hendricks Gin bottles. Ive searched all over SJ to find them and found them at the liquor store in MD!

Selection is ok, seems like the beer coolers dont get restocked often. Store interior is bright and clean. Staff definitely needs retraining, they must have gotten busted by the Liquor Board. As a 62 year old man I havent been carded in decades, but I was checked twice there recently. Definitely felt some racial animosity from the same young lady each time. Would not shop there again.

This place is awesome and enormous. You can pretty much find anything you heart desires here. Growlers are available. Extensive Craft Beer selection. Very helpful and polite staff.

I had a lovey experience with the friendly workers at this shop. I have done quite a bit of traveling and have developed a very intricate and specific palate. This place meets those needs plus more! If it’s not in the store, just ask and they will most likely deliver. Prices are fair for the convenience and the service was top notch!!

Great variety and friendly, helpful staff

One of the better locations in the area for beer selection. Prices are a little elevated, but they carry a variety of breweries and styles for domestic and imports. Wine selection is fair (two-ish aisles) and organized by country. Liquor selection and prices were comparable with other stores in the area, but they carry a good amount of mixers and garnishes.

Their selection is huge and they always make great wine recommendations. They also have a fairly large beer selection.

It’s true, the inside of their new location is impressive. There are many more options to choose from with a large amount of space. The thing that rubbed me the wrong way was being shadowed by the manager the whole time I was shopping. Now I would say that I’m “normal” in appearance; not trashy, not classy...just normal. With that in mind, I was confused as to why the manager was so obviously behaving as if I was there to steal something. The whole thing was strange. I grabbed what I was there to buy and went to check out as he blew past me to (I guess realizing I wasn’t going to steal and feeling as if he wasted his time). As I’m paying the other employee I hear him being very curt to the other customers...all in all, I’ll be going elsewhere. I own my own business, so I understand that customer service is a tough field, but these details will lose you customers.

Give people a chance to produce their IDs we know you need to check, but for a regular customer this gets old. Give your customers some credit, we know this, we have been here before, allow us a couple of seconds before you say the same thing over and over again.

A good craft beer selection

I went in not knowing what I was looking for (just a general description) and the gentleman was super helpful in pointing me in the right direction and helping me with my selection.

Im super pleased with all of the options As always the staff was pleasant and helpful with recommendations ..Great move!!!!!Nice but small. The associates are very helpful. I wAs looking for Black Raspberry Ciroc but they didnt have any and didnt seem familiar with it. I went to a different liquor store about 3 miles away and they had it in stock.

Very good selection for the size of the place, which they will be expanding on the other side of ShopRite soon. Very knowledgeable staff. Good variety of bourbon they will allow samples of, even the more expensive bottles. Very good selection of meads as well.

Rude, Obnoxious, Condescending... Enough adjectives. First time there; never again. Lied about not being able to change my chipped Bank Card to credit, from the defaulted --- less expensive transaction to them of debit. Said They could not override, I guess she didnt realize how moronic she sounded. Anyway prices are very high, I usually frequent Midway Liquors, which is not that far from Beard Hill, and the customer service is always so friendly, and the prices are on average 20% cheaper.

Its got a very large selection. Always very clean. Always plenty of workers around that ask you can they help you. And you better believe you better have an ID even if you look 75

I will never return to this store. They are very rude. I went with my daughter to purchase vodka for vanilla extract. I actually had help picking one out by an employee. Looked up the recipe in the store and I didnt need more so I picked a bottle of wine to cook chicken again with help from an employee, who overheard our conversations. I am disabled and my hands are noticeably arthritic so my 22yr old daughter carried it to the counter. I was told I could not buy it because she carried it and she needed to buy it. I said can I bring up another bottle and purchase that one. She said no and proceeded to lecture me about the sign on the door and said if they overheard us talking about her drinking it, they could refuse service. I will make sure my friends and family know how I was treated and will encourage them to go to another liquor store.

WENT HERE TO GET SOME BEER ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON,AS IT IS CLOSE TO THE HOUSE. MY 23 YEAR OLD SON CARRIED THE BEER TO THE COUNTER.I WAS PAYING FOR IT. BUT THEY REFUSED TO SERVE ME WHO IS 60 BECAUSE HE CARRIED THE BEER TO THE COUNTER. I PICKED THE BEER UP AND SAID THAT IT WAS FOR ME AND THEY STILL REFUSED TO SERVE ME.BOTH THE REDHEAD GUY,AND BLOND HEAD GIRL WERE VERY RUDE. JUST A NOTE,THEY HAD BOTH SOLD MY SON BEER SEVERAL TIMES DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE THERE PRICES A WAY TO HIGH AND THEY A RUDE TO CUSTOMERS.

Terrible owner! Called about a special beer and was told it was in stock. Drove all the way to store to be told the OWNER!!! Refuses to sell them because he is using them for gift baskets even tho when we called we wore told come in and they will sell. Totally unprofessional and huge wast of my time!!!And also my father was in the store one week ago spoke to the acting manager and was going to sell him the rest of the 2017 bottles but was never sold to him!! Obviously, if I came in (last week) and asked for a high end liqueur I dont need a manager to sarcastically tell me the price 3 times without me asking prior to purchase. You never know who is going to walk into your store and you should treat all people with respect. I will be sure to tell my circle of friends to avoid this liquor store.In reply to Dan-I am quite sure you dont need more information as I dont believe Im the only woman you have been so rude to...you were far too comfortable in doing so. While you recited the price of the Glenfarclas scotch repeatedly without my asking...though, when my brother came in you were all too comfortable to speak with him about it and McCallan NEVER mentioning the price. Your demeanor was unprofessional and offensive. Lastly, your intention was heard loud and clear and I cant help but to notice that there is no apology in your reply. I would encourage anyone who reads this to shop elsewhere!

Terrible customer service. During my second visit to this location I was told that I could not be served because of the orientation of my license. This was not an issue during my first visit when I was carded (with the manager present at the time of the transaction). When asked the reason, neither the clerk or the manager gave a response other than I cannot serve you. Will not be shopping here again.
