An absolutely horrible experience - use another company!The average wait time for any phone call made to FP is over 40 minutes. The tech support staff dont actually know how the machines work or what options the machines are capable of performing.I thought management might be better, but they also dont understand how the FP machines work, if they work at all.The Sales Rep LIED about the functions available on the machine, the no-additional cost upgrade in machines was a LIE. I fell for the line we make everything easier for you and business. They make everything harder to do.ALL THE STAFF at FP HAVE NO CLUE what they are doing.Take your business any place besides FP.Id rather go to the post office daily than deal with FP EVER AGAIN.If I could give a negative amount of stars for FP - I would in a heartbeat.TRULY a HORRIBLE COMPANY to deal with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been with FP for over 2 years and the customer service is terrible. Currently, I have a brand new postage machine that doesnt work and I have been unable to talk to anyone for the past 4 days after multiple calls and emails. I would recommend going with the USPS machines as their customer service is much better.

Deal with any company other than FP. Everyone has always been rude and unhelpful. They have so many hidden cos, machines never work like they should and everyone will give you a different answer to the same question. Would give negative stars if I could.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with for any service at all that I can remember. I wish I could give negative stars but I cannot post with out at least a 1 star. They are dishonest. They have little if any customer service, and what they do have is less than educated. They should be shut down. I intend to file a claim with the Illinois AG office for their dishonest business practices. Run from this company. Hopefully they will go out of business.

One of the worst companies I have ever worked with, without exaggeration. In addition to numerous issues with the function and speed of the machine.The auto renew is pathetic.In my opinion, the scummy and predatory nature of the auto renew is that they notify you of a pending monthly rental rate hike AFTER your 90 day cancellation window has closed. As opposed to your renewal is coming due and your rates will go up you get your rates are going up. Whats that? No you cant cancel because you didnt give us 90 days notice.Look at the number of complaints regarding the auto renew feature of your contract. The company always promptly responds to these that it is a federal requirement to have the auto renew. Good, glad theyre compliant; and it is explicitly mentioned in your contract.It appears, however, that the company has elected to bury the auto renew in the fine print and use it as a retention tool to squeeze one more year out of companies who have no interest in continuing to do business with them.That fosters customer satisfaction doesnt it?

I saw the negative reviews and had to leave one myself. I have been working with FP at my current position for the last 2.5+ years and have had no complaints. We had issues with a past machine but the customer service we received was excellent and we have had the new machine for around 2 years without problems. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for this service.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES AND HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES.They send me a contract renewal July 29 and I cant cancel my contract that renews Sept 1 without a 90 day notice. When I question how that is legal he tells me they are not staffed to handle the amount of accounts they have. I said how is that my fault and why do I have to take a penalty for that. He says fine we will double the price of the machine and hire more staff. I said you cant do that because it is already cheaper for people to just go to the post office.

Received my machine sooner than expected (3 Days), called customer service a couple times for an issue and call was answered quickly and tech was helpful. Machine seem to work great with no issues. Price was half of what PB wanted!

I rarely leave reviews but this company is the worst to deal with. I would actually really like to use their services but to date have never been able to get anything to work (and this is after spending many many hours over the course of a few months on the phone with them). Their own people cant figure it out and refuse to get back to me so that I can return their equipment. Instead, they keep sending me statements and invoices for services that I cannot and have not ever been able to use. Please save yourself the time, money, and headache of going through the same process I have.

I work for a company who is diligent in watching costs from all areas. We were looking for a new company who could offer competitive rates with great service on our postage meter rental, I called FP Mailing Solutions. Every conversation with Tim at FP was very rude, unprofessional, and miserable. Even the VP of my company was immediately taken aback by his manners on our conference call with him. She pretty much discarded them right away. The day after our final conversation an making a decision on which company to go with, he calls to follow up. Upon finding out that we did not choose him, he pretty much told me in an indirect way that we were ignorant and needed to understand what he was saying. Once I finally had enough, I said, Thank you for your time and help and we... thats as far as I got. He hung up on me.I do NOT suggest even giving this company the time of day! If they treat their potential customers this way, I can only imagine how they treat them once they have made the catch.

We were looking into obtaining a postage meter. We received info from FP and I spoke to a salesperson who initially was very helpful. However today when I promptly returned his call and informed him that we were going to delay purchasing a machine for 3 months, he promptly hung up on me! After reading other reviews, it is not surprising.

Ditto to every one of the negative reviews on the right. Really great salespeople. But, tried to return after just 3 days because the machine was unusable - did not store postage rates, extremely loud and slow- even for a small office with low mailing volumes. From a legal standpoint, it did not meet the implied contract of merchantability or of fitness for its intended purpose- all we needed was a scale & postage meter! Couldnt store the rates - really? It was just a piece of junk. Customer service actually said thats the way it is - you can try to get out of your contract but it’s not going to happen. Maybe just a disgruntled employee with no customer service skills? So I finally managed to speak to a supervisor (which was like pulling teeth), and got Im the highest up youre going to get and the answer is no. Wish I had recorded our conversations to be able to give a word-for-word transcription, because I was just incredulous that they were so inflexible and nasty. So, OK, returned the machine but paid the 1-year contract anyway and chalked it up to experience. Paying the $$ was a minor issue; my biggest gripe with this company was how totally rude, nasty and inflexible they were after my 3 days of experience using this junk. I cannot even imagine behaving so poorly to my own customers. This may as well be a scam. Youd have to be much more Christian than me to put up with such awful treatment. We went to neopost instead which is usable but still far inferior to PB, so when that contract is up we are going to go back to PB (they will offer to lower your rates when you suggest you are leaving).

If I could give a negative star review, thats what I would give this company. Its super easy to receive a postage meter. But terminating the contract, returning the postage meter, and getting a postage refund could not be more difficult! They permit a very narrow window to terminate the contract, if you miss it, you are stuck in your contract. When you do act within the required time frame, the return transaction requires many steps including shipping the device back to them, instead of returning to the business that set you up with it (FC Mailing Solutions in Hickory, NC). If you need to call them, which you probably will because the process is arduous, be prepared that they make talking to a live person excruciatingly frustrating. If I ever get the postage refund, I will NEVER again deal with FP Mailing Solutions in Addison, IL or FC Mailing Solutions in Hickory, NC. I strongly urge you to stay away from these businesses.

My experience with this company was so bad, it would be too long to place here. I do not recommend this company at all, PayPal is cheaper and a lot easier to use. I will say the very first machine I got from them took my $30 postage I was never able to mail anything and this company never gave my money back, as a matter of fact they lied to me and said they did in one breath but then in the very next said that I reversed it which was a lie. You would do better using PayPal and printing from a printer, again is much cheaper ! I wish I had read not only the reviews but the information from BBB. Andrea called me from the company and listened to my complaint but then told me she didn’t agree with my complaint, how can you not agree with my own personal experience? That basically told me that she would not listen to a customer but Is already On the defense of the company. She left a very negative messages on my voicemail and she was very negative from the beginning of my phone conversation with her. I do not recommend this company at all.

I was on the phone with customer service and asked for a manager and the girl told me that the manager wont tell me anything different than she has told me. It is easy to get a machine but returning itnis a head ache. We were never notified that our contract was up and the worst part is I was in contact with a sales rep who claims she is not able to see our contract. Talking on the phone was even worst. They said they cancled our contract yet they sent us an invoice for another year...Never again will I buy from this company and i have told all of the business owners that we work with to not use them either.

I ORIGINALLY PUT A ONE STAR...! THIRTY MINUTES LATER I CHANGED IT TO A FIVE STAR.What the heck is going on? We run out of ink for FP MINI. We order ink it comes in a day. We put the ink in the next evening to send out letters and meter them. Well...the FP MINI says cannot connect to INFRASTRUCTURE or some crazy message. We go online and cannot find anything that is remotely explanatory in how to fix this THING.Will not connect and needs to communicate with FP INFRASTRUCTURE. Well it is online and nothing has changed other than we put in a new ink cartridge. Which cost a HECK of a lot of money. For only two weeks worth of printing meter mail. $80 bucks. Not a good thing.We want instructions on how to send this meter back ASAP. WE can just go to the USPS and stand in line every other day like we had been doing and pay right there and get this done...ASAP. To many hoops to jump through. WE ARE DONE..and we NEVER REALLY GOT STARTED.NO CUSTOMER SERVICE ON WEEKENDS. REALLY!THEN THERE IT IS...THIRTY MINUTES LATER, AFTER I WRITE THE REVIEW ABOVE....I WALK BY THE MACHINE AND IT IS BACK UP AND WORKING....! Do not do business with this company. No customer service, and there products dont work. It is always a 20min + wait to speak with anyone. We are now on our 3rd machine in less than a month. Their machines dont work and they just send out new ones to you every time. Every time I go to use the machine there is an issue. Im literally on the phone with this company once a week. I would cancel my account with them but we are in a 36 month contract with them.

Awful doesnt even begin to describe it. I have been fighting for about half a year now with these people, and this meter, and have yet to be able to even ship a package through this meter.I do NOT recommend buying from them, and I wish I would have read the reviews before I did. Customer service is terrible. Do not even try to send an email to customer support, and if your going to try to call you better have an entire day set aside just try get anything achieved. I never in my life expected this to be such a complicated process.

Just got off the phone with customer support after waiting for 30 minutes. Company is currently unable to get us postage for our machine, period. Not over the website, over the phone, nothing. This has been for over 2 days! They claim they suffering from a national outage and state theres nothing they can do about it. We are in the business of mailing to our customers and this is unacceptable.

This company deserves 0 stars. Salesman promises the world but their equipment doesnt work, customer service and technical support is non-existent. Plan on spending at least 30 minutes on the phone trying to accomplish anything if you call them, but you wont get satisfaction. Tried to cancel a contract because equipment wouldnt work and they informed me I would be billed for 36 months. I think a class-action lawsuit against FP Mailing Solutions would be a great thing.

Too bad we didnt read these reviews prior to our order. After receiving our meter, it was short parts and of course we have to order them and pay more to be able to get them. There is a 45 minute wait to talk to someone and the customer service is terrible. Im not sure how we are going to get out of this. It didnt even occur to me that someone would even have a scam company over postage meters. I do NOT recommend this company.Update: We have had this machine for almost a month...and still can not use it. Customer service is unavailable. Planning to involve outside agencies with help to resolve the matter.

If I could give zero stars, I would. What a rip-off. After renting the machine for six years, paying for it many, many times over, I was pointed to the small print on the original contract that stated that the contract would auto renew every year, for an entire year, without possibility of terminating if I miss the date by even one day. OK, fine. Six months out, I send a termination letter, which they either lose, ignore or throw away. Three months out, I send another termination letter. Again, they seem to ignore it. Mail the unit back, takes them a week to process, so they bill me for those days of rental!!! On the phone they are rude and uncooperative. Oh, and the kicker? When you send it back, they want you to insure it for $5,000 - a used up, ancient piece of garbage. DO NOT USE!!!!

DONT DO IT!!! I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering this machine. Ill pay for this mistake for a year since its a contract. Norma was so nice and helpful prior to placing the order, now she is non-existent. Customer service is rude, disrespectful and will not listen to your concern. Since receiving this machine, my sales assistant has had to place 3 calls to get the machine set up. The machine will not display the .5 so there is no way to know if the .5 will appear on the envelope. We have discarded envelopes with postage due to this. Absolute waste of money!

Please avoid doing business with this company. They have the worst customer service on the planet. We have been a loyal customer for well over 5 years and tried to call about cancelling our meter. We were then told that our contract ended in July and AUTO_RENEWED for an ENTIRE YEAR without our consent. They gave us no warning whatsoever or options. The customer service rep on the phone just told me that she does not care how I feel about it, she is just enforcing the rules. Completely Awful...

We have used FP Mailing for over 10 years and never had the problems listed in these reviews. Our meter works great and compared to Pitney Bowes is less expensive and maintenance free. If you are technically challenged, you could have a problem with FP. because of the innovative design of their meter.

We have been using their system for about four years. Previously using a Pitney Bowes or Neopost machine, the customer service is refreshing. They can handle billing issues and actually fix them. Had an issue with a cartridge and it was replaced, no problem. How you could have a bad experience with them is beyond me. You can actually speak to a live human being quickly, get your questions answered, and move on with your day. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We are a bulk business mail facility in GA. We went with FP for a meter over many other established brands because they falsely advertise the pricing. They advertise 2% discount on all first class mail. That is not true. It is only for smaller pieces and with the change in postage led them to increase the price of the meter to be less than a 1% discount even on those couple options. I gave them 6 weeks notice of cancelling before our contract was up. They said it has already renewed for another year because we did not cancel within 90 days of the year lease. HUGE SCAM. DO NOT USE. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

VERY BAD SERVICE! I had contracted with them over 4 years even suffered 5% or more extra charge for any credit card payment, I never complained or delayed their payment until they updated their website on Jul.2015 or earlier. Nothing worked on their new website, I couldn’t pay my postage at all even though I tried so many times. Then I called their Customer Service for the help after waiting online for more than 30 minutes, however the lady told me they could NOT take postage payment on the phone but in fact they did that all the time before. I was totally pissed off and left a message on their website, the automatic reply said they would reply me in two business days, Bullshit! Nobody contacted me even in a month. Then I had no choice but to mail a letter to cancel their service, right away they contacted me and forced me to pay the balance of rental charge and nobody even ever tried to explain what happened or apologize for their bad service until I returned the machine. Although I just wanted to complain to anyone in charge, suddenly I was turned into a Collection Agent for $730 more or less even the contract is still valid until next March. What I want to tell you is that FP Mailing does NOT care their business at all, why do we. Now I’d fallen in a trap, so please don’t follow me and there are more choices than FP mailing solution in the market. Happy New Year!

Well, I really wish I would have seen all the BBB reviews before I signed up with this company. We signed up in Jan 2018 for a 13 month contract. All through the contract we hardly used the machine because everytime we went to run a postage we had to reset the machine which took close to 5 min or so just to send out a letter, then one day after about 100 letters the ink ran out. I went on the website to order and they were well over 200 bucks which later they told me there was one for 119 which is still ridiculous. Apparently they send out a low yield one with the machine just to get you up and running and then you have to buy one. We went to cancel on December 5th and they told my business partner we were in a contract until 2020 which is funny because our contract isnt up until February 2019. Apparently if you want to cancel you have to do it 90 days before your contract is up!!! WTH?? So youre telling me I have, what, one day to cancel? Anyway, I told them this is ridiculous and Ill be sure to write the BBB and he was like well do what you have to do and now I can see why he wasnt concerned after putting my review on there... Really go check for yourself before doing business with this company... I would stay far away from this company, they have to scam people to get business. I switched from pitney bowes to save like 5 dollars a month, man that sure backfired. Dont make the same mistake I made, pitney bowes may be a little more expensive but they are the best by far customer service wise and you dont have to wait on their machine for endless minutes to update constantly.

Is there a way to review a negative number?If there is a rate change and you need assistance...Good luck.If you need customer support...Good luck.If you need technical support...well...they will first transfer you to the sales departments (yea makes real sense) and then you will be transferred to technical support which is about as friendly and helpful as a post office or DMV employee...Again...Good luckThere products look appealing but the support around them is about as good as Obamacare.If you are ever high enough to work for them know this....They will promise you money, promotions, and a fast track to success... Unfortunately that is if you previously worked for Neopost. The pay structure quite possibly could be better at White Castle or Taco Bell. The management staff (some are nice) are so caught up in politics I kept looking over my shoulder thinking Donald Trump was going to walk in. I wont even go to how they screwed over their inside sales, retention, and major account reps in commissions for 2016. Their consistently top sales rep was basically told he would have to split his commissions going forward... Amazing way to treat your strong performers...Hence he no longer works there. This company can take a positive, motivated, goal-oriented person and turn them into a negative Nancy.I once proposed in a quarterly sales meeting that they need to improve customer service by score carding one call resolutions (as many successful companies understand how important it is to take care of their paying customers...yea I know...what a concept) and was told that it doesnt matter.Oh and when you do see the light and leave the company...Well good luck on getting your final paycheck correct...4 former employees can verify that.A dying company in a dying industry. My family owned small business has been a loyal FP customer for many years. We have suffered the excruciatingly long wait times to speak with a customer service agent and the lack of responsibility and care that comes from a contract with FP. Despite this, the real trouble came in June of 2015 when a sales rep called us to let us know about this wonderful new PostBase machine that will save us so much time and money. The machine we were using at the time was hooked into a phone line and was working fine, albeit a bit slow. The sales representative lied to us about the new machine saying that there was no need for it to be hooked via ethernet cable and our current set up was completely substantial for the postbases operation...just sign the new contract and all will be well in the world. After signing the new contract and receiving the PostBase, we realized this was a mistake. As soon as it was running we called to ask if we could have the old machine back or if we could come to some resolution of this issue. It took over an hour and three transfers to speak to the right person about this. The customer rep was friendly and responsive, but in the end, he said this wasnt something that could be changed. We were locked into the contract and stuck with this new machine. He sympathized with us a bit and told us that if we were still unhappy by September of 2017 that we could end the contract and send back the machine without any worries. We waited for two very long and frustrating years before calling to cancel this contract. When we did the representative told us no, the contract will end in December of 2017, but she will make sure that the contract doesnt automatically renew for 2018. She sent an email with the steps to take to send the machine back and asked me to hold on to it until December. The email stated that our contract will end in December of 2017. When December hit we were ready to get rid of this frustration. We called FP to make sure that we were good to go. The rep told us we were fine to send the machine back, but we should do so in January of 2018 so we could make use of the entire month of December. The rep was kind enough to have the originator of the email resend the email (which stated the contract end date) with the original content so that we could reference it easier. January of 2018 arrived and we sent the postbase back. The final bill arrives a week later with charges dating all the way to November of 2018. When I called to question this the customer rep told me that November of 2018 is when our contract actually ends and there is no way out of this. I brought it to her attention that I had it IN WRITING via email that the contract ended in December of 2017. She apologized for the inconvenience and gave me the number of a person who would call me to amend the invoice; the new person was to call the next day. I waited for another week with no response from the rep. I finally called her, and she asked me to forward the email with the end date of the contract. I did this and immediately received an email from the originator of the email stating it was an error to send the email with the contract end date. I emailed again pleading with FP. I even said we could meet in the middle of the charges, to which she responded, no. I thought about posting a bad review and decided that it just wouldnt sit right, as my mother taught me that if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all. While reading other reviews, I found some of the negative reviews had a response from FP asking them to email their issues to a marketing email address. As a last ditch effort, I sent an email to the address listed in the responses. That email was written on January 29, 2018. No response has been made. I considered involving our corporate attorney, but decided against it. I paid the entirety of the final bill yesterday and decided to speak up. Please dont make the same mistake we did. Please heed the advice of these reviews and stay away from this company as they will only give you a headache and heartache.

This FP postal meter was already in place when I began to work at my firm. We had such trouble with the scales inaccuracy that we ended up adding more stamps to most mail sent out. In addition to this FP told us there were tracking numbers for each item of postage. When I needed to track something, I called FPs customer service & waited for about 30 minutes to speak with someone. This person informed me that the tracking number was only on the postage that printed out and we were unable to look it up. DO NOT USE FP MAILING SOLUTIONS!!!

USE PITNEY BOWES THROUGH VISTAPRINT. FP-USA charges postage refill fee everytime, PB does not. FP-USA refills by analog phone line unless you buy $100+ proprietary computer hook-up (sales rep never mentioned during sale), PB uses an included wi-fi device to do refills. PB gives you $100 worth of free postage refills, FP-USA does not. READ CONTRACT VERY CAREFULLY on FP-USA. Very tricky timeframe to cancel. 90 days before or during auto-renew period??

Beware of getting a postage meter from FP USA. Theyll give you a very low price for the first year and then theyll double the price without giving you any advance notice. When you try to cancel your one year contract theyll say you have to give them 90 days notice yet they wont give you any notice on the new price.
