It’s a great store busy but high prices

Received great customer service today from Sky. She was very helpful and directed me to what I was looking for. Normally it is hard getting help in this market but this young lady was very helpful.

I ordered a two layer cake made of a unicorn . And my family and loved it . Good job bakery employees . I will he ordering my cakes from there from now on . And the employees are very friendly and helpful.

I am so disappointed. I will never shop at this market again. I do my best to support all the local small markets and businesses. I will make sure I go out of my way and shop at Walmart. I spoke with three employees, two of them were managers NO RESPECT. stater brothers you have just lost a loyal customer.

I usually shop at the Redlands Stater Bros. 5☆ for that location. While visiting my daughter we went to this Stater Bros, but we were unable to do any shopping. Why, well due to medical conditions I am losing the ability to walk and I need to use the electric cart to shop and at EVERY other Staters my daughter or boyfriend go and bring the cart to me, well at this Stater Bros my boyfriend was confronted by the security guard and denied access to the cart. I was gonna attempt to walk into the store, but it became painful and after almost falling, I decided it was best to shop somewhere else. My question is why would the security guard stop a disabled person from spending money at the store, yet did nothing about the couple of homeless people who were in front of the store yelling at the building and a few customers...

Really disappointed with what we got, ordered a birthday cake for my grandsons 1st bday and this cake looks sad, no decorating, they messed up on the writing, just a plain looking cake

We are traveling from Michigan and have seen lots of stores yours was very clean and the shelves were so perfect, produce and meat counters were beautiful Keep up the great work

Fairly new store with a pharmacy, redbox and Chase Bank. Also directly adjacent to Highway 395 with several places to eat within walking distance. HOWEVER, vehicles with trailers in tow: the parking lot here is not easy to navigate. Consider parking at Walmart across the street instead.

We ordered the Cleo n Leos chicken for a party of 50 and there was chicken leftover. The red potato salad and the 3 foot sandwich were all gone. Good service.

More rotten meat, bought two packs of chicken and a pack of pork chops. The chicken is supposed to be good till tomorrow and the pork chops good 10 days from now. I live 9 miles from the store, went straight to a perfect cold fridge. Each item we opened was foul smelling. $20 in the trash. I will be calling corporateEdit review: changing my 1 star to 5, they were quick to respond to my review and the store manager called and had me come in a replace all my spoiled meat. I really appreciated that and the timely manner it was handled.

A great grocery store! I would usually visit this spot to purchase some beers and harder liquor, when I visit High Desert. Since it is conveniently located near the place, where my relatives live. The prices, of course, are quite fair, and there is a good selection of drinks to choose. Without drinks, they sell other items, such as groceries, magazines, popular DVDs, and medicine. Still, the only items, that I have purchased in this establishment were beer and whisky. Furthermore, the staff working here is friendly and polite. So, for these reasons, I am giving a five-star rating.

I love this place. The meat is the best. You never have a problem with it being rotten like Walmart or the Mexican markets. I try not to buy it anywhere else. if you cant seem to locate something that cashiers are always willing to help. We all have our favorites! I even take time to let management know what a good job theyre workers are doing. I just wish they would pass on that information to the worker themselves. A little does go a long way when youre acknowledged for doing something so good. Best market ever!!!!!

This is a ghetto market. Fried chicken is the best. Prices are high. Bacon has no salt. Long lines and a manager who doesnt return calls. Dont shop here until they improve.

I really like shopping at stater bro’s but this time I had an unpleasant experience with the cashier who’s name is Elizabeth G. I came in and spent a total of $211 worth of groceries. The first few items were WIC items. I let the cashier know that before she started scanning items. While she was complaining about her day to her coworker who was bagging my stuff, she noticed some items that were not covered by WIC and would tell me in the most rude tone “this is not covered by WIC” and then she would put it aside. I kept telling her that I knew that some items were not covered by WIC and that I still wanted to purchase them. Anyway she kept putting things aside and stating that WIC wasn’t covering them. I got really irritated because like I had told her I was going to purchase the rest. I ended up paying for the rest of the stuff with my debit card. I can’t believe she was so discriminating just because I was using my WIC card for some stuff and kept putting things aside before even asking me if I wanted to purchase them. It doesn’t matter how a customer is paying for stuff the cashier should have had better customer service and instead of throwing off bad vibes management should reconsider the people they are hiring who are the frontlines of customer service. I know not all cashiers there are as rude but someone like Elizabeth G should not be representing the store with that unprofessional attitude. No customer should ever feel any type of discrimination no matter what method of payment they are using.

Customer service window never has anyone working. The wait is always 15-20 minutes. The cashiers tell you that someone is coming they called and your still waiting a long period of time. This has happened more then a few times. It’s a habit. Another time I was in the store a fight broke out between a customer and an employee, the man checking me out ran outside left me and another lady at the register. When he came back I told him it was very unprofessional. He said they’re told to help each other. It was already several people helping it was his job to remain professional and finish assisting the customer in front of him. Most of the people are nice. I’ve had more bad experience than good.

It is a typical grocery store. This one is located in Adelanto, near US-395. I have been here several times, when I was visiting my family in High Desert. Usually, they have deals to purchase grocery items and liquor. At the same time, they sell wine at discounted prices. Furthermore, this store carries one of my favorite beer, Red Trolley Ale. Without beer and wine, they have good deals on strong liquor. Of course, without alcohol, they had a good variety of meats to choose from, at fair prices, or even discounted prices! If anyone is in High Desert region, I would recommend to shop in this store.

I love shopping at staters but I have been very disappointed in the meat the last few times I bought steaks they were tough and I called Corporate as I was asked to do so and the person asked if I had my receipt and I said no but they have a copy of my receipts so since I have the dates I shopped and the amount I spent they could easily look it up but didnt do it so Im literally about to quit shopping for my meat here if I keep getting tough steaks that I cannot chew because meat is not cheap these days to buy something thats not tender enough to eat and I used to love staters meats prior to this last year i had stopped buying top sirloin here years ago because it was always tough for me to chew but now Ive had trouble getting good rib eyes and tbone steaks

We went to Chase Bank today and utilized the public restrooms. They were extremely dirty. Im positive that this grocery stores bathrooms wouldnt pass a state health inspection. If the public bathrooms in a grocery store arent clean... What does the food storage unavailable to the public look like... Yuck

The meats and seafood are good here. When on sale, its not uncommon for them to run out. The Bakery is great. The fried chicken dinners are really good and at a good price. A con about this Stater Brothers is that the lines to checkout can get pretty long.

Bought a tri tip roast friday the 15th for $20, when I go to cook it I see on the package it expired the 14th. Selling expired meat for full price, ofcourse I have no receipt now

Cashier Jason was very polite and efficient. He offered me the Digital Rewards Program. I said yes and he was very helpful and signed me up for the program.

Stater Bros is beautifully located for us Adelantens, your cashier Elizabeth is the best she make you want to . come back and shop. JUST LOWER YOUR PRICES. OH AND Ron Beard is fun to talk to. THANK YOU FOR THOSE 2 SPECIAL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU, ITS REALLY REALLY NICE.

I always enjoy shopping at Stater Bros... beats going to wallyworld... Tis the season... Better get your alcohol now... And always remember never to drink and drive... It only takes a half a second to end your life or someone elses... With that said... Have some great holidays...

Good manager at 5pm today was very helpful. Store is always clean.Iceberg lettuce and Romaine lettuce in the produce department was much to be desired though.

Nice store. In a busy area with lots of other retail stores, especially fast food places. If you already know & like Stater Bros., this store is like all their other stores.

Cashier that handle register #0 for some reason not the friendlies, being state bros a high quality market, management could reinforce customer service procedure.Like I said, cashier only have to deal with us (customers) for no longer than 3 mins tops, BUT those 3 mins make checks for them.I dont came to the store to make a friend!!Maybe they can use that as a motivation....to provide better service

I see Im not the only one to rate this one store negatively... I went here once only. The line happened to be almost to the wall of the store. Okay, theres one line open and three cashiers: Got it. I go ask one of the cashiers, who was chit chatting with the other one, Can you open a line please? She says shes not open now, and goes back to chit chatting. Everyone in the line looks like they just found out theyre dying. I ask her if theres a manager because the line is more than half the store length and I am carrying raw meat. The manager was busy; hes the one cashiering. I didnt get her name, but the same girl then stops chit chatting with the other cashier and then goes to the manager - who is the only one working - and chit chats with him. He is now distracted from being the only one doing his job, by some one who is refusing to do hers. So I left.

Dont these people know you can get sick eating uncooked chicken. I bought some fried chicken and when l started to eat it l realized it was still raw. Grose, l should have known better. It has happened before there. When this happens, it ruins your taste for chicken ever. Over cook it and then we wont get Ill!!! I prefer like most people when the meat falls off the bone not bloody bone..yuck!!!

This store has great prices and theyll help you put your stuff in your car if you need it and theyre just great I love them

All the employees have stuck up attitudes and act like they are better then the customers that shop there. They cant even break a smile or greet the customers with a pleasant hello. If it wasnt for the customers and the convenience of this location they wouldnt have a place of employment to be working at. Its already enough to deal with enormous prices...

I disagree with a couple of comments on here. The staff at this location are very polite and helpful, just like any human being though theyre not going to take peoples full on ignorance towards them. As far as the useless black people comment. If u look their are and multitude of different races loitering in the parking lot. Dont single out a race or judge those people. Just be happy you are blessed and not settling to a career in the parking lot.

The store itself is nice and clean, however, the people that shop there, OMG!!! Theres always people outside begging...One time I went and I couldnt believe how many people was actually wearing pajamas and house shoes. The clerks are rude and not friendly at all. I guess their attitudes matches the customers! One word to sum it all up GHETTO (at its best.)

This store is usually clean and has good stock. Its a tad busy at times but nothing unusual. There are at least three cashiers at a time. Downside, youll pay between .80 to $2 more for an item than at Walmart or WinCo. And the meat products are even more expensive.

Ive been shopping here since 2009, and its always been a friendly place to shop. I do have two complaints, however: 1. You need to put the cart returns closer to the store. I feel sorry for the people whose cars have been damaged because of loose carts, as well as handicapped people who cant make it to the cart returns. 2. You need to have security keep the panhandlers away from the store. Ive been approached inside the store on several occasions, and almost always when at my car.

Horrible. There wasnt enough registers open and the lines were extremely long. The clients in that store were atrocious and had 2 carts filled with food that was being paid for with my hard earned tax money when my family could barely afford to fill our cart a quarter full!

Its a nice store inside. Parking lot is a little dark. Which is bad since there are frequently people asking for money in the parking lot!

I love this store! The people who work here are warm and friendly. The are always willing to help me when I need it, and talk to me more than just a hello how are you. The cashiers are very friendly and I have never been made to feel like I was imposing when I ask for something that is not at their register, even though I constantly apologize for asking them to fet me something. Yes there are rude people in the parking lot, but that isnt the stores fault

I will never shop here again. I used to work for Stater Bros. and I must say this place just gives the chain shame. They are slow, the courtesy clerks seem to always be gone or never doing their job. I go and the lot is full of carts and none in the store. They bag groceries wrong. Who wants soap with their food? Stater Bros. has a bagging policy and they NEVER follow it. It is disgusting. I have waited over 30 min at the bakery to be ignored by the workers and when they finally decided to help me I got a item from the bakery WITH A BUG IN IT! I have also gotten their pre-made bakery items with MOLD on the fruit. It is disgusting!! This place really needs to get better workers and pay attention to what they are doing. They make me sad to say I used to work for Stater Bros.

Stater Brothers is a solid grocery store. The prices may be a little higher than Walmart or Winco, but they have some quality food. I also come here often for baked goods and flowers on occasion.

Reasonable prices, good selection and quality at the deli, no lines and a friendly checkout.

Good today not too many people in line

Too long of lines. Not all are friendly. Everytime I go in, and question why they dont open another check stand, they say we had several people call in sick. Always the same excuse. The deli is slow and takes forever to serve you. Get it together store.

This store is awesome! I feel bad about the Walmart opened up across the street but takes away part of the long lines it used to have. Only complaint I have is how expensive their items are, but besides that I love how fresh the meat section is and how well stocked their items are. Very clean, cashiers are pretty quick, and quite clean. Love the fact it has a chase inside. I mostly come in to buy the Sunday newspaper for couponing, but the store stands in tio top shape

I like to buy meat and chicken and fruit at SB, it was much cheaper than walmart, they have food for low income, and middle income, so very convinient, but the vegetablewas expensive.some of the fruit is expensive, but they always have cheap fruitfor us.

This has to be the worat stater bros i have ever seen. The isles where not stocked had to ask someone to look in the back foe a certain item 3 times. Signs for specials are torn and not done very well. The restrooms are horrible looks like they have not been cleaned in weeks.

For all you people who have something to say about the homeless people begging in the parking lot, hey their just doing what they can to put a little something in the stomach for the day or night. Just remember this, as you drive up in your car with the heater on and, your bellies full from everything you had eaten all day. These people you complain about begging are hungry and cold as they stand in the cold for hours just to kill their hunger pains they fill inside and, they have no where warm to lay their heads that night as you drive away to go to your warm home and, all you have to complain about is how the cashiers in stater Bros. Cant open another line cause their short of cashiers ???? Omg. What nerve of you to think you got it so bad in life. Next time your standing in line and, thinking you got it so bad because its taking just a few minutes longer then usual, just look out the window at the hungry, cold homeless people and, maybe just maybe your life wouldnt seem so bad after all.....
