Similar experience to previous reviews on here. It doesnt seem like Sears listens to feedback from the customers.I showed for an 11am appointment and was told an approximate 1.5 hour wait. Ended up being 3 hours. It should not take this long to install tires, especially if there was a scheduled appointment. Whats the point of the appointment system?

I have been coming to the auto center for years now. John is always pleasant and kind. He knows my car in detail. I recommend that you make your appointment for service online. Show up a little early to check in. Plan on either getting picked up or doing something thats time consuming. The mechanics have a lot of cars to get through and service will usually take a couple hours. Pre Covid I used to shop at pearlridge phase 1 & 2 and still waiting for my car to finish. They are very good at what they do. My suggestion is Uber or get picked up because its a long wait if you choose to wait. However, I wouldnt go anywhere else to have my car serviced. Thank you, John and the mechanics at Sears for all the good that you do.

It will not allow me to post a picture but I wish I could. We have been doing oil changes for all of our vehicles here for over 2 years. We recently decided to do our own. We found out that they had actually used RTV to glue the oil plug in. This only happens when they strip the plug and wont own up to replace it. Once we got to the filter we realized there is no possible way they had actually been doing an oil change. At best they topped it off. Scam artist for sure.

I believe this location has closed down. We made a brake service reservation and were very disappointed with the 2 hour wait prior to having our car pulled into the garage, at which point watched as the tech installed the wrong parts only to realize he would need to reorder the correct parts and delay us an additional 3 hours. I can understand why this location was closed.

Service was good from the information that I acquired. I had the Amazon tire install services completed here. As this is now the only Sears Auto Center for the island of Oahu, the wait time was ok for a weekday. I be also had an appointment but still had to wait 2-3 hours for tire replacement. Overall I had a good experience. Will most likely utilize again via Amazon professional installation services.

Twice now I have bought tires from Amazon and had them shipped directly to the Sears auto center at Pearlridge Mall. Everyone at the desk that Ive dealt with were friendly and professional. During the most recent trip, I had no appointment and they told me 2 hrs. It took just under 2 hrs. Also got 40% discount off alignment since I ordered through Amazon. It was sometimes hard to get a hold of someone on the phone when I had a question before going, not a big deal. I would definitely go back.

Took my highlander to get shocks and struts last week, had a little trouble finding the parts but called back the next day and they found it. Drove it in, dropped off my keys and it was done in 2hrs. Really good service. Parts were expensive but the labor cost wasnt too high. Plus they give a warranty.

They’re fast and friendly, I’ve been there twice recently and had a great experience. We did and engine check for a light and because they didn’t have the right tools to further check, they advised me on what I should do and what they think it is right now. It was supposed to be charged, but because they didn’t get to the exact reason why, they took off my diagnostic charge.Also I called around to other places and they were cheaper than the other places nearby

If I could give negative stars, I would. I took my car in for 2 new tires and an alignment. While doing the work, I was notified that i had an issue with the radiator hose being loose and it was crucial that i get it replaced to not cause further damage. I agreed and waited the extra time for the work to be completed. When I was advised that everything was done, including the additional work, i paid and went to leave. While trying to get out of the parking lot, i noticed something wasnt right. My car was handling like i was driving on ice instead of pavement. Come to find out, they had a wheel completely locked up and so the tire wasnt spinning. Besides being a frustrating situation, when i took the car back, the employees looked at me like i was crazy when i told them, and then didnt even apologize for the mistake when they gave me back my car. A little bit later, i noticed my car overheating and got worried. Upon opening the hood, i found pliers, pieces of the hose that had been cut, the radiator hose barely attached, not to mention the incorrect hose being used in the first place, and my coolant completely empty. I was livid. All the money and extra time, and the issues with the tires from the initial appointment, i am beyond upset. There could have been extensive damage to my car had i not caught this. This is unacceptable. I feel very taken advantage of, and ripped off. I now have to pay someone else to fix the job that I already paid you to fix in the first place. So terrible!!!!!

Had a good/normal experience at the Kaneohe location last year.Wheels installed- they forgot to return wheel lock. Returned to pick up.Oil changed- did not put gasket on nut. My carport has a large oil stain now. Had to return again to get fixed.Friendly staff but appears there are some basic standards not enforced or trained that lead to very annoying potentially big problems for customers.Went there because of an Entertainment Book oil change coupon.Also $400 new tires installed- can’t beat that.

I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. I purchased and had installed four tires in December. Left the shop, didnt even get 20mins down the road and my tire light came on. First visit back in and it took them over an hour to figure out how to fix the light. A month later the light came back on and my tire was near flat. Took it in waited almost 5 hours to have it looked at and fixed. They sent me home and told me there was no leak and everything was fine. Next morning I went to drive to work and the same tire was flat (not even registering on the tire gauge). I called the store and they took me right in (after telling me Four times? I guess we actually have to take this serious) they gave me a new tire and fixed it once again. Not even two weeks from then, Im now sitting here again with a tire light on. Please whatever you do, do NOT come here for ANYTHING!Ive also called corporate when I was on my third visit, they said they opened a case and would be calling me to help me...havent heard from them either!

One of my worst experiences. I recommend never go there. They charged me 19.99 for battery service and didnt even clean my terminals. My car broke down within 1 week after the battery maintenance.Never ever go there. I recommend Jiffy Lube for servicing. You suck Sears

Came to Sears at 6:35 pm and the guy at the desk said they couldnt help us because they had shut down their system. That made me think we came after closing. We leave the store and I decide to check out the sign with the hours and it says 7 am to 7 pm. my boyfriend went back inside to talk to the guy and he said they shut everything down 20 minutes early so everyone could leave on time. I was there to buy a new battery!!! something that only takes 10-15 mins. this is ridiculous. I used to work at Sears on the mainland and they never did something like this guy. never going here again.

Oh boy, I wish we looked at the reviews before going here. We set up an appointment for 2pm for an oil change. We get there to drop off the car at 1:30. Checked to see if car is ready at 3pm, they said they havent even started working on it but will be doing it next. We came back an hour later, said it was done but had to check an issue with the suspension which will take another 30 minutes. We declined since we still had other things to do that day and can bring our vehicle elsewhere. By 4:30, we finally left Sears.The sales person we were talking to was very professional and polite about it. But 3 hours for an oil change is just ridiculous.

I had been bringing my cars to the same place for years. A few months ago the service manager/mechanic I trusted (Kaeo) seemed to vanish. It was only a short time after that the entire shop closed down. I felt lost. Brought my car to another shop for an oil change, it was expensive and the service was terrible. Paid for synthetic oil, got conventional and a cheap filter. 2500 miles later and my car sounded rough at startup.Luckily while out shopping Kaeo saw me and said he was now working here at Sears Automotive.So this morning I brought my car into Sears to see Kaeo. Got a (real)full synthetic oil change with a proper oil filter and what a difference!This will be the only place I bring both of my cars for all their maintenance from now on.

Your tech person who helped me, Jeff K., provided incorrect info as to how to get in to the account and change my email address. it wasted so much time cuz i had several people try to find what he told me to do, and no one could do it. if he had told me properly in the first place, i would not have wasted so much time. we just assumed he knew what he was talking about, and kept trying to find what he told us to click on. you need to be very specific, each step of the way, when you instruct people how to do something. do not skip a single step. you need to be a perfectionist when it comes to something like this, not assume people know what to do themselves if you skip a step.

Had an appointment @ 10AM for a tire replacement, and didnt get my car after 1pm. So bad their service there! I worked in the automotive field over 18 years it doesnt take 3-4 hour to replace 1 tire!I wish the management people would see these comments! They will lose customer and go somewhere else!But you all need to get general repair go to Sugarmaill Shell in Waipahu fast and well experience technician!

Crappy service.. Biggest BSers.. Was told that both of my Struts needed to be changed and it would cost $1027 thats with the labor. I asked if I could get elsewhere and do it my self and Sam said No, so I said ok and do it. Come to find out, the part costs $175 online for both sides. I was charged $283 for each side. Called the guy Sam yesterday and he said I miss understood him and he misunderstood me. He heard me say if I could do it myself and he said no. He didnt think I could do it myself.

I went to Sears Auto Center in Pearlridge to have my tires alligned, and oil changed. I was told by the associate it would take two hours or less. This was at 3:28 pm on Valentines day. I called at 6pm and was told my car was not worked on yet and that it would be another two hours. The manager said the employee that promised me two hours and took my vehicle in was gone for the day. The manager said he cannot help unforseen issues that come up and was unapologetic. Very unprofessional. No wonder theyre going out of business...

Worst mechanics ever took my Lexus there to see why the tire was wobbly. They said it was out of round and said buy a new tire or live with it and sent me home. I figure something was seriously wrong with it so I looked at the wheel and it was missing 2 lug nuts replaced it and problem solved. Service takes very long and customer service or horrible. They Hanne no respect.

Booked an appt for 3pm didnt pull my car in until after 4:30 pm. Sales associate daid my appointment didnt matter...another customer waited for 6 hours for a new tire. Dont waist your time. We came here due to prices are a little cheaper. However after we have been dealing with tires buying online, the run around is terrible & not worth it. Service is slow, terrible customer service (maybe under staffed), we had an oil change & they placed the bottom of the car protector back on backwards & they didnt reset the oil change sensor so car flashes need oil change.👎

They did a fill of coolant for my A/C, and took 2 hours longer than promised....this made me late for a doctor appt. While driving to the doctor I notice the car making a wheezing sound while accelerating only when the A/C is on. When I went back for them to look at it I told them I had to be out of there in two hours for a meeting....but when I checked back in two hours they had not even pulled it in yet! I tried another time and they said they are getting me an estimate to replace my compressor. I got upset and told them the noise never happened until they serviced the car, so whatever they broke should be fixed at no cost!!! They refused and did nothing for me. I am contemplating a small claims against them.
