Really cool place to shop for old and retro games and consoles.

Went to sell our books here and sold some nice hard cover books that had never been read, and got less than a dollar for them. A little disappointing when seeing how they mark them up. Pop figures were marked up at least 20 dollars when the original price tag was still on them. Some good deals, you just have to really look for them.

They need to be more pro-active.

Good movies great prices and if you dont see the movie you keep checking cause I was looking for Water World and on the third time bingo found it

I was so happy that Book Off had some books that I like to read. The books are so inexpensive too. $1 a book. Fantastic bargains. I dont mind that theyre used and a little old. The information in the books is what Im chasing anyway. Theres a wide range of subjects and as a plus theyre more than just books. They have DVDs, CDs, video games and more. I always find something that is of interest to me. I always recommend this store to my friends.

If youre looking for a quick place to get rid of your clutter, nothing beats a traditional brick-and-mortar store. What I dont like about this place is the trade value of the items I surrendered. 10 books for $6, one being of a Manga series during double value month. I guess they have to make a living off of it, but ok.

Book Off has a wonderful variety of anime collectibles, books, DVDs, CDs. I like to stop by & browse in here and see all of the interesting collectibles they have.

Hit and miss with treasures so every time we are at the mall my daughter checks it out. I havent found anything to my needs or liking yet but she has. Prices are ok too.

We went there looking for used books because I had gone there a few years ago and the used book selection was fantastic. However, now there is a larger music, DVD, video game and collectible figurine selection more than books.

The prices vary. This one has a bunch of old games that gamestop doesnt even hold anymore and even rare copies. Really great usually but sometimes the prices dont make sense either especially the ones being resold at launch prices

Its a great used book store that even has a great selection of DVDs too! Most of the books Ive picked up from there, if theyre paperback, have been 5 dollars and thats typical for used book stores. Some more popular, special additions, or hardcovers will be more expensive. But I think their prices are great. I go there all the time. The employees are wonderful. And when I moved to Hawaii this became my new bookstore! This is the only one that has decent prices and/or actually has used book prices for used books. If you love books this is the Oahu bookstore!

I used to like this store. The Covid19 protocols are non-existent even w/notable signage at the entrance. I was outta there in 2-3 minutes, - scary. Overly crowded & some unmasked customers.

Allows in-store shopping now, dividers at checkout and only a certain amount of customers allowed in the store at a given time. Great service from employees with assistance and patience.

Havent been there for a while because of the Covid. I have always found a good variety of books at great prices. And sold some books,too.

Good place to browse around and see used video games, movies, collectible figurines, books, CDs, and electronics at low prices. Its also a good place to sell your stuff that you do not want to keep any longer. You wont be getting a lot of money back and the staff may not accept certain items because the condition of those items may not meet the evaluators criteria. The aisles are narrow so its hard to get around if there are plenty of customers.

Very helpful staff and I found 12 books to buy for only $1 each! There was a bit of a wait to get in as customers were limited to 10 people in the store. A sad sign of the times.

I love this place. This is my primary source of books; the dollar section is incredible. Even if youre not into reading, they have a huge selection of electronics and video games, and thousands of dvds, blu rays and cds. Highly recommended!

Moved everything around but forgot to move the labels of the aisle so I got lost and since I only had 20 minutes to look around because of new standards, I had to leave while still trying to find the anime section

Love this store! This is my first spot to look for books or movies that may not be the most recent. Prices of items are very reasonable! Items not always available for purchase immediately, but I think that is due to some State law requiring a minimum holding period on selling used items? Location is convenient, although I wish the location at Ala Moana Shopping Center was still open.

Absolutely love this place. If youre a movie fanatic be careful cause Ive spent $100 two separate times without even trying.

I love that there is still at least one used books, games, and movie store. They do have some other electronics that are used and for sale. I buy books for my daughter all the time, book off has made it cheaper to making her a better reader.

Utterly magnificent. I adore the incredible variety, floor-to-ceiling stacks of everything under the sun, with every angle of the political spectrum and scientific universe represented in some way, shape, or form. There are gently-used comics next to Frozen songbooks next to geopolitical treatises next to a whole collection of GMAT/GRE prep workbooks. I love the sheer cornucopia packed into a relatively small space, built for book lovers just like me.

My friend, workers their and her coworkers are really nice. Their prices are reasonable. Its good to sale books, movies and other stuff. My friend works, rest hard at her job.

This was the first time I browsed in this store. I thought, why dont I check out the store as it looked clean, pretty much organized and the staff certainly seemed friendly. Plus the books were only a dollar each and the selections are quite huge. They also buy books so if anyone wants to make some money, they could easily drop off their books here. They also sell DVDs. My husband and I ended up buying a few books. Well probably go back when we finish reading our latest finds. ☺

I took three reusable bags in, full of books last Tuesday, March 26th. Signed the required form indicating I wanted any and all books back that they did not want to buy from me, that also indicated that I clearly understood that I had to accept whatever price they deemed acceptable and that I understood that items not picked up after a certain amount of time would be disposed of. Okay, fine. My daughter and I went to eat dinner since the cashier told us it would take 30 to 40 minutes to process everything. They called and left a message after about 20 minutes to tell me they were done and that my items were ready to be picked up. I called back right away and explained that we were just going in and that Id be back to get my things before they closed. An hour later (about 830), I went back, only to find out that they did not have my books and bags and that due to a miscommunication my things had been thrown away, WITHOUT MY CONSENT! Most people, Im sure, would not have reacted negatively, but this made me extremely upset. I take great care of any books I own (clearly since they bought 21 of them, for $7.70!) and had intended to donate the rest of the unwanted to a local library. Not only was my donation thrown away, along with three reusable tote bags that were in good condition, but I received the LAMEST apology from the young man who did it all! He acted like it was a burden for him to go back in the back to even LOOK for my items! Tell me honestly, why have the customer sign the form at all if NO ONE is going to read it??? Needless to say, I am NOT going back there ever again and have told everyone I know not to as well. Truly disappointed in a company that DISPOSES of books and bags that customers leave there in good faith! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Better to just donate whatever I have so that others can appreciate the books than have them thrown in a dirty dumpster!! Oh, I did get back TWO of my totes, covered in some foul oily substance that ruined them beyond any further use. I gave up waiting for him to find the other one. 😡😡😡😡

Super cramped and small used bookstore. Prices are expensive given the quality of some of the stuff here. I tried to sell a brand new book set here I bought at barnes and noble for $60, I got $5. Dont even bother, sell stuff here you dont really care for so that the price doesnt bother you. If not, youll have better luck selling on ebay.

Clean, organized, neat, good prices especially the $1 book section. They sell used electronics from game consoles to computers and tablets to smart watches and regular watches. The staff is super friendly and great to deal with. I have been to the Pearlridge and Kaheka Don Quijote locations and they were both great.

I found some good DVD & books at a great prices. I live g.j doing in to browse cause you never know what youll find.

When you take in new not open they give you .10 Sense for them its not Worth taking any DVDs in from 10 cents to 50 cents to a dollar thats all they pay you thats not even enough to swap movies at their store not worth it at all. What their prices arent bad i give them that.Good prices.

Ive been here a couple of times before at this location. You can find just about anything here and go back often since new stuff coming in. You can find CD, audiobook, book on all subjects (fiction and nonfiction), electronics, games for different platforms (PS4, PS3, Wii, Xbox, DS/3ds, etc), etc. Everything is in good condition. Took my friend in once and she bought $30 worth of books. This particular visit, I went in to sell some books and look around. The young man that assisted me was pleseant and informative. Definitely will go again even though I live in Honolulu.

TERRIBLE. I bought a movie that I was looking everywhere for FOREVER! It was marked for $60!! I bought it expecting it to be in perfect shape and I was joyful heading home. Open it up, took a look at the disc and it was SCRATCHED EVERYWHERE! UNBELIEVABLE. Ifs its in poor condition, why sell it for a normal price?!?!

Found the dvd i wanted. Great used books for $1 and DVDs and music cds. They also buy, but dont expect too much. Good way to offload your unwanteds and get some lunch money. LOL

Limited selection. The books on hand were not well organized and I determined that it wasnt worth searching through all of the books for the possibility that they had the book I wanted. There was also no way to account for what books they had in stock so it truly was a search mission on the chance that they might have the book.

We had a hard time finding the location for some reason thanks to maps it’s right next to where Tj maxx is inside the plaza you can literally go through Tj maxx entrance to the “mall” and its next door.The selection to me looked great at first but looking at the everything most were ancient and VERY unorganized. The video games looked ok I didn’t see anything worth buying.Overall it’s an ok store you might have to do digging some things are pricy some are not but you will have to decide if it’s worth your money.

Yo screw gamestop for trade in deals, if you are in desperate of money and have a console or games lying around. Trade here, you will be satisfied and see how much you will be getting off cash. I was desperate with money i traded my playstation 4 i bought mines when destiny came out for $145, Gamestop in the other hand slaps you a $91 and it also depends on what type of member you are. I regret trading off my Call of Duty WW2 at gamestop leaving me $20 even as a pro member, now that they added elite member its just no.. (ask first before throwing what in the holy hell you asking for trade, price may differ if your console/game appear to be damage in some way)

I bought a total of 7 movies two days agoand 4 of them didnt want to playi tried them on my laptop, Ps3, and xboxone and they didnt work on anyi called them to see if they can be switched for a different dvd but same movie andthey said No.I was mad because it wasnt even fairthey didnt work and i couldnt know unless i played them at home but since they were opened i cant return them.. Suckswasted 40$ on that should just go someplace else
