Every employee was extremely helpful and friendly on 10/23/21. Found a favorite brand of peanut that we couldn’t find anywhere else in months. Kids loved the sour geckos! Highly recommend! Will definitely stop back in on my next visit.

We felt welcomed the moment we walked into Cyndi’s Sweet Shoppe. After lunch, we decided to stop in and check out the sweet shoppe. We had a great conversation with the owner and purchased some great candy and Praline Pecans. Walking through this shop was like taking a walk down memory lane. It was a great experience and I HIGHLY recommend stopping in and grabbing some sweets and delectables! Please mask up! ;-) Stop by and patronize Cyndi’s Sweet Shoppe!

Absolutely loved this place. Small little candy store. They had candy I havent had since living in Germany, and some other old fashioned candy. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful. This is a clean store.

Such a cute little candy shoppe! The perfect store in a perfect locations- Laurens St is such a nice area of Aiken, all of the stores and restaurants are walkable. The service at the Sweet Shoppe was fantastic! They had a huge variety of things to choose from. Take your family or anyone with a sweet tooth or love for novelty items. Very clean and bright. Everything is so colorful and coordinated down to the very last detail. Love it!

Overpriced. I got a piece of almond bark and the almonds were very old. The taste was horrible. Chocolate was good.

They have a large variety of classic and unique sweets. The truffles are good but I suggest sharing since they are huge. I love the dark chocolate cherry cordials. They have juice instead of cream, which is my preference. It would be awesome if, one day, they could have some non-dairy truffles or ice cream.

Excellent wide variety of candies, ice cream, cotton candy (seasonal), a great place to stop on a date or to take younger family.

I just love this place, Ms Cindy is always so helpful whenever I stop by. The wide selection of candy, chocolates and other delights tend to overwhelm the senses. Due to Covid there are not many places I’ll visit but I always feel safe here. Social distancing, masks required and enforced plus sanitizing makes me comfortable shopping here. It’s unfortunate not many other places look out for their customers health like Cyndi’s.

Great staff, very helpful, I drove nearly 70 miles to buy their candy. Great selection, old school stuff that you havent seen in years, Ill make several trips a year there.

This establishment isnt interracial family oriented at all! We wasnt greeted when we enter & once we started shopping a lady decided to walk up and talk to my biracial daughter and take her candy to hold at the counter all while the two white children were able to walk around the store with their candy. I will make sure to never step foot in this establishment again and to pass this message on to my friends and family. If it wasnt for my daughter really wanting the candy I wouldnt have bought anything from here.

The obnoxious woman at the ice cream counter gave us 99 cents in change because The penny would make her register come out wrong. Really? Keep your pennies, we will spend our dollars elsewhere.

Just tried to bring my two year old in for a treat...I was met with a maskhole. My two year old is exempt and so am I. The rude lady stated “if you’re exempt I have to ask why” I let her know I was medically exempt and that was against the law. She said she did not care and made us leave.I will never spend a dime here and with such awful business practices, you shouldn’t either.

This place is totally for that sweet tooth. They have your standard sweets, and a good selection of the more specialized treats, like raspberry cheesecake fudge or salted licorice. Their marzipan candy is to die for and their truffles are divine. The staff is very helpful and friendly. For that more special sweet craving, this is that place that you need to go at least once. Parking is limited but its a nice little walk in downtown Aiken past some cute little stores. I had been meaning to go here for some time now and Im glad I did. It was my first time and it definitely wont be my last.

This is a childs sweet paradise with many sinfully delicious perks for Adults as well. Has a wide variety of goodies to suit everyone.It was my first time in with my son and we were both pleasantly surprised. A must go to in downtown Aiken!

Received very rude service here . On the door thr sign said face covering required . I had a face shield on which is a valid face covering as per the state of South Carolina . Jordan an employee kicked me out because it was a face shield and not a mask. Very rude treatment . I just wanted to but several pounds worth of candy . After I posted this review yesterday an employee of friend of the store owner harassed me and called me awful names all day yesterday because I placed a review on stores Facebook page and TripAdvisor. They harass me for having a face covering because it’s not a mask. I have medical reasons and autism and a drs note of why I can’t wear a mask. They are in violation of ADA laws . Also the capacity they had in the store was over legal capacity. Please don’t patronize this candy store especially if you have a disability.

This Candy Shoppe is so nostalgic, has everything I remember in stock and arranged so well. The Candy Tins are my favorite!

This is my favourite candy shoppe. You can find European candies, modern and old domestic candies, and much more. The issue is that I just drove about an hour just to see that their hours posted are incorrect. They close at 5:30, by the way. I had hoped to do holiday shopping here, but I work over an hour from here and dont get off in time. Oh well. But if you do go, you will enjoy it. Its a lovely shoppe. Just wish the hours were accurate.

Walking into Cyndis Sweet Shop is a treat in itself! The owner and her staff are genuinely warm and friendly. If youre having a bad day for whatever reason, a visit to Cyndis can turn your sour into SWEET!!!

Not really. Walked in barely greeted or acknowledged. Older lady was putting things up and finally ask if I needed help. I asked for a bag to get jelly beans. She barely wanted to show me the bags. Maybe I was not the right fit or color for the store. I will not be going back.

A neat store with an ecclectic assortment of candy, nuts and snacks. Set up in an old style themed candy store or drug store with a candy counter, this place has an amazing selection for the size. If theres a candy you remember from when you were a kid, chances are you can find it here. They also have an array of dipped chocolate and fudge as well. . Therealmost always free samples to try before you buy and it just makes for a fun experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place to fine unique and old fashion hard to find candies. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Its not cheap but a fun place to reward the kids or yourself.

Walked in and was the only customer, said hello to the two older woman at the front. Then we said hello to the younger girls working there......we received nothing but a blank stare. Must be nice to have too much business because no one could acknowledge our goodbye either.

Grandfather and grand daughter walked up at 8:03pm and were turned away on a Thursday summer evening. Really. With the Alley and businesses promoting Downtown Thursday you would think they would extend their courtesy and hours. Poor community presence for a local business. Give me a break.

At Christmas time they offer lovely tins that YOU custom fill. They feature an iconic scene from our beautiful Aiken SC. If youre visiting Aiken, be sure to stop on by. Ooooh, did I mention the hand-dipped ice cream?! 😍

What a fabulous old timey candy shop! You will find every kind of candy that you remember from your youth and many of the current favorites too... Southern treats coupled with Dime Store candy and any new cutting-edge Candy as well. You will often find the current owner Cindy and her husband in the store and they are available with recommendations for your enjoyment. My brother bought the Finish Licorice and said it was marvelous. We sampled the new Krispy Kreme Jelly Belly beans and were astounded at the taste. I also saw fruit slices which I remember being available in candy counters back in the early sixties.As well, Cindy is a true Town representative of Aiken. I managed to lose my camera while in town and she bent over backwards helping me find phone numbers and names of stores. I did in fact locate my camera from the information she provided.All six of our family who visited would highly recommend this store.
