6 employees could not fix our problem in 3 different Verizon stores in Knoxville TN nor Aiken SC. 6 employees at the brick and mortar stores kept on telling me it was my one year old new cell phone.We literally had just joined Verizon 4 weeks ago and were massively disappointed.I called corporate 18 times and was hung up on 14 times.Another corporate employee didnt follow up as promised. I was transferred to 4 different people and FINALLY a wonderful, smart, intelligent man named Cory in Corporate figured out the problem.Damien Hodge in Knoxville on Kingston Pike / Bearden Hill was sooooo eager to earn the commission that he never added my cell number to our new joint spousal account (husband and wife) ?!?! He also (with my husbands drivers license) only type in one of our 3 street names (address). He out the wrong SIM card in the wrong phone. This has been an unmitigated disaster from day one. We were furious.I have no words.For 3 weeks I did not receive texts nor could I (one morning) for 5 hours make outgoing calls.I was livid after give Verizon close to $300 which they had no problem taking.Verizon does not remotely impress us at all and we may go back to our previous cell phone company.We also did not go back to the local Aiken Verizon store because 4 employees were clueless after wed gone to that store twice to get help. No one was capable of fixing a simple problem. All Verizon employees in the brick and mortar stores need to be re-trained asap stat.

Was the only one in the store. My husband called and made an appointment for an upgrade and Stephen acted like we were bothering him and being very short. We told him we didn’t remember our password to our account so we reset it in front of him and it still wouldn’t log us in and he said he wasn’t sure if what else to do but then 5 minutes later he comes back and is able to help us finish the upgrade. Everyone in the store acted like they were too busy to help. We get in the car and he can’t finish updating his phone so we had to go to a different store and he says they didn’t even activate the phone didn’t even scan the new barcode it was still showing the old phone on our account so I’m not sure what they did but none of it was helpful
The Aiken Verizon Store was chosen today for a large purchase, because of past business transactions that was always handled in the most knowledgeable and professional manner. In other words, their reputation proceeded them. Today, we found that extraordinary service once again. Thanks to all of the staff, especially our representative Mae. She needs to be recognized highly, due to her professional, yet friendly, knowledgeable, and technical skills. The store also enforced Covid Virus protection, which made us feel safe. Thank you so much !

Please be extremely careful visiting this store. They put a tablet on the wrong line on my account, I have paid them $380 for nothing. The store said today it was my fault for not checking the bill. I am a busy school teacher. I will be very careful in the future. Especially with this Aiken store. In the process of going to the highest level of corporate to complain. Buyers beware. These people do not seem to be on my side.
All the workers were very long term employees and unlike in the past there was no long wait and they spent a lot of time taking care of what I needed

My husband was sent a new phone less than a year ago because of Verizon’s upgrade to 5G network. The battery has not held a charge for a month or so. We went to the store and was sent to a battery store down the street to have it checked. Was told at that store they don’ t check those batteries, so that was a wasted trip. We called customer service and were told to go back to the store at this appointed time to get a new phone. They would not even look up the appt. We were told they don’t have phones or batteries in stock. I guess customer service doesn’t know what they’re telling people either! We were then told by a store employee to order a battery from Amazon and we would get reimbursed, but when we took the battery invoice in for reimbursement, we were only given a partial credit because we were told they buy their batteries from another place and they would only pay for the amount they pay after being told to order from Amazon! Liars and cheaters that can’t get their stories straight! Verizon should not have their name on this store!

They only want to sale you a phone, so if you need tech support then you need get on the phone. Oh wait, I had a problem with the connection for my phone. So when the young man told me that they no longer offer in store tech I just had to laugh.

Rude General Manager at the Whiskey Road store. Refused to let us in the store so her techs could help us resolve an app crashing issue.She kept repeating, its a Google problem, not Verizon.A Verizon store employee, Tyler, 500 miles away in Ashland, KY (where wed previously purchased our phones) solved our problem in a 20 minute phone call.Recommendation: go to the other Verizon store in Aiken, SC.

The associate was helpful as far as she could, but was not able to resolve my problem. 😔 (Its a phone setting problem) She directed me to their tech staff who, hopefully, will be able to help me.
Second wasted trip. Cannot go in but let us in to the kiosk within a month ago. Act like masks are not enough, touchless store. This is insane and I am very covid cautious! They have a bouncer and many employees in there doing nothing. This is not shutdown! Sent us to the non official Verizon store as they cannot help in very simple stuff. Last time they would not sell me a wireless charger for liability reasons (???), this time they wont help us through switching phones and do not have a new one. Is this some kind of fake store? Hand out pieces of paper with tech coach (Worthless computer AI, dealt with them before) and sending us to the non official store across town. Verizon is nothing like it used to be.
Great service quick experience
I have had issues with my 5 month old phone for months. Called customer service numerous times and spent hours on the phone but they were at least all nice and helpful. The last time I spoke with customer service, I was told if I still had issues that all diagnostic stuff had been done that I would just need to call and they would replace my phone. I decided to go into the store in hopes of getting a replacement the same day. Boy do I regret that decision. Celine D, the manager of the Aiken Store on Whiskey Rd is rude, condescending, and absolutely no help at all. Customer service is clearly not her main goal. Going off of the reviews, it looks as though she treats most customers this way and considering Verizon reads these reviews, they are aware of it. I’m concerned that Verizon allows her to continue to be rude to their customers. It’s not a good look for them.

Representative Ed was very knowledgeable about his job, the rest of the store I will never go back unless in an emergency. I would not recommend this store. I BOUGHT 2 PHONES. THE ACCESSORIES YOU GET IS NOT BACKED UP BY THE STORE. AGAIN I DONT RECOMMEND THIS STORE.
We had an appointment for 3pm We had just bought a new phone and were having difficulty getting contacts and apps to cross over. There were 2 customers in the store when we arrived The website said 11 people were allowed inside but we had a choice to wait outside or sit in our car. We chose to wait outside. The security officer although nice was more of a screening agent `What is wrong with your phone etc` Finally a young man came out of the store to question us again what we needed (This info was provided when I set up appt.) He made no effort to help us but gave us a paper with a number for technical support. Thankfully I went down to TCC beside Richland Avenue Walmart. They are a Verizon dealer. We were able to walk right in and immediately sat with a young lady who was so knowledeable and resolved our problems within 10 minutes. Nice friendly helpful folks. Dont go to the Southside.
I had a horrible experience dealing with Verizon customer service over the phone and went into the store to get the problem resolved. I was being charged for a cell phone that I returned which was causing my bill to be around 700 dollars. Linda took the time to call customer service and stayed on the phone until this matter was resolved. Linda went above and beyond to help me. I am currently waiting on my account to be credited thanks to her! :)
I’m having very serious issue with Verizon. My Father wanted to get Services with Verizon since it was better services in our area. We submitted a credit application online approved for two lines. Upon making the initial amount to pay for the services the system directed us to proceed to a Verizon store. Arrived at the store (30) minutes later, they submitted another application approved instantly once again. Upon checking out the system stated my father wasn’t who he said he was. They asked for driver license, proof of residence an another form of identification. After driving (30)miles to a Verizon store they should of stated they needed the proper documents to complete the sale. My Father was very upset, an I also noticed every time I come to Verizon the Fraud Department always verifying of (Black)individuals. Not once have I ever seen where I come in Verizon do they ever verified any other race. I think Verizon Corporate Department is Discriminating against our Black individuals. I have a lot of associates that went to a Verizon stores where they accused them of not being that individuals or Fraud. I will be contacting FTC an a Attorney.

Verizon Representative Mae at the Aiken Southside store is definitely an excellent Representative to work with. She and majority of the employees here, actually take the time to give you the attention you need to make the best decision on your devices. I would definitely recommend doing business with the aiken Southside store. COVID has put a damper on alot of things that you can do now in stores but you still over all receive awesome services here!
They didnt help.
The rep who was helping me started helping others while I was on the phone with customer service. I understood that since there was no need to stand around for 30 minutes, but after I got off the phone he picked up his tablet and proceeded to help at least 3 other people and never came back. Another rep “helped” me by checking out my phone and told me I could set it up myself. Moving on to 8 hours later and getting into contact with two separate customer service reps and Apple, the phone is now set up because she never changed the phone to the new phone on our account. Oh and I was at the store for 2 hours.
The new design is miles better, had to give it the extra star. The staff was very friendly and the process for upgrading phones is way better. Cut the time it took to do in half. They also have a better selection of phones now with the extra space. Also has good wifi.
Rude, short, condescending. Wouldnt even let you in the door to see/hold a phone before i upgraded. Complete waste of time. Went to best buy and got a better promo, and a new phone with a case. I hate Verizon
Only allow one family member in at one time even if there are children and its raining outside. Whould give no stars but not an option. My wife went in to look at phone they told her the price and we went to the car to talk about. After ward they stated the one wasnt in shock. Shouldnt the employee have checked that when he looked at his system for the price. Total waste of time.
Hands down the worst Verizon store I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I travel the eastern half of the United States and can say with all certainty, the staff and service at this store are deplorable.
There was only 3 people in line at 10 am....Im in need of a new phone due to not having enough space left, and in my line of work its very important to have a working phone...I didnt t not know it was by appointment only...keep in mind ...only 3 people were in line...plesse... in my line of work..appt or not...we wait on customers..it would have been different if there would have been alot of people waiting.
I have been having issues with my phone making it virtually unusable. Went to this store because it is the bigger of the 2 locations in town and should be able to do something, I thought. Got there and waited 30 minutes to be checked in then waited another 30+ minutes to talk to someone and describe my issues only to be told I need to call tech support and they cant do anything for me in store except tell me to upgrade my device. Came back later with my father because he is the account holder and they needed him there to look at the account and had the same wait time as before. I ended up using the insurance on the line to get a replacement phone. The service there is great once they get around to you.
I recently switched from AT&T to Verizon. I was very impressed with my sales lady Mae. She was professional, extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. I’m extremely satisfied.
Gladly,... I was warned prior to my arrival that the staff, (including the management), at this representation of the Verizon company are ill-mannered, disrespectful, obnoxious and just plain rude. The heads-up that i was given turned out to be precise and without exaggeration. The Big Brass of Verizon upstairs as well as Channel 12 News with Meredith Anderson will be receiving a well drafted letter describing how I and several others with similar complaints were treated with such disdain and coldness that it took everything within my physical and mental power to restrain myself from opening up both barrells on these losers that think they have people skills. When cooperate becomes aware of how their customers are being treated by theses Verizon representatives,... there will be an elimination of employees on the payroll at the VERIZON ON WHISKEY ROAD IN AIKEN, SC.Yours truly, Paul Dean

Very poor customer service. The employees do not know and have not been taught how to provide good customer service. It is like the obvious difference between Chick fil a and McDonalds. Verizon is McDonalds. My phone locked up, and they were going to send me a refurbished phone under warranty. Then I would have to reload everything. Apple store guy did some kind of reset, and I was good to go. Don’t let Verizon store fix your phone!

I had a couple issues with my cell phone, went in and was greeted promptly. My issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. I was in and out and my technician was great.
They are in the process of remodeling and half of the store was closed with a large piece of plastic hanging from the ceiling. I added a line and the process was quick, but almost to quick because he activated the phone without even turning the power on. In the past, the cell phone representative would help set up the phone. Also, it would have been useful to know phone doesnt have a headphone jack.
Apparently customer service no longer exists at Verizon in Aiken. I wanted to pick out a new phone and was told I could do it online. Extremely obvious the older white woman at the door was inconvenienced to service me. She was curt and rude. I will NEVER go back!
The guy that helped us was very nice, but he tried getting us to buy everything he can. I guess that is just his job. The screen protector he put on is already bubbling and stuff getting in from 2 days ago, so we are going to need to buy more. Over all a good store, it had everything we needed and more.
Very cordial and business like. The staff is quite knowledgeable and gladly lets you part with your money for one of their plans. They are usually busy all day, but if youre lucky your wait is minimal. They offer a variety of products and services to fit your needs.

Pre-paid customers are best helped by contacting assistance by phone center. This is a post paid establishment and didnt get the service I expected. I was eventually told that there was nothing they could do for me.

SLOW !!!! did not greet us or when we arrived, NEVER came over to ask if they could do anything for us. It appeared that they waited on people, not in order, but has they decided. On two different occasions they served people they recognized as friends FIRST, bypassing us and three other couples who were in the store first. The product offered on the shelves is limited in the extreme. No prices indicated. When FINELY approached by an associate he was less than friendly, cold and not interested in our desires. We believe based on who he served prior his attitude was/is based on race/color. We will never go back to that version store !!!

Nice people in store, worthless customer service. My account was set up in July. Three months later I still cant sign in online or through the mobile app, and cant make automatic payments. Which means I either need to pay over the phone (which they charge you extra for), or I need to go in store and pay which doesnt work with my work schedule. Im also getting charged $20-30 more than what I was quoted, but because I cant access the account I cant see why. In store personnel cant help with technical support. Its all over the phone. So you wait for them to call you back, and it STILL doesnt connect you with a person, it just rings (in my case more than 10 min while already waiting an hour and a half for them to call me back, so I restarted the process). Unfortunately, their coverage is the best in my area, but I think Im leaving at the end of the month unless they finally set my account right.

Everyone dreads doing anything with their phones. Especially me. You think it takes too long or is too expensive? You are beyond wrong. Not too expensive. And doesnt take long at all. A veteran named Joe didnt take long at all and took excellent care of me.
This store is always helpful, but it seems that of you are only there to modify a plan you can get pushed to the back of the line in place of a sale. Otherwise the associates here are knowledgeable and helpful and willing to do what it takes to get your issue resolved!
Horrible customer service, today my wife and I went in after 15 minutes, with not a single employee greeting us, we went and flagged down an associate. At first things were going smoothly, until we decided to decline the over priced phone card and other accessories as they were half the price on Amazon. At that point the associate named Treasure who was helping us started getting short with us and basically acting like we were a bother to her.We have numerous bad experiences with this location and will now be heading to the Richland Ave store or over to N. Augusta location.

This has been extremely frustrating. My computer kept kicking me off. I recently bought a hot spot. Slow did not work. 1 1/2 hrs on the phone with Microsoft. My wifi on my phone would not stay on. 60 million round trip to Verizon. Worked in the store. Person helping was obvious bored. NO EMPATHY. Im check-in to another provider. I doubt you will read this.
I expected a long wait, unfriendly service. What I got was about a 3 minute wait and a friendly greeting. The gentleman knew exactly what to do and within just a few minutes more he had installed sim card, a memory micro sd card, transferred all my files, apps, photos and data.I could not have asked for any better service.

This is by far the most friendly, efficient Verizon store I have ever visited. I always dreaded having to go into my local Verizon until I moved to Aiken.
The salesperson did not try to sell us anything we didnt need. We told her what we wanted and she got us exactly that. We were in and out in about 30 minutes to set up a new plan with new phones.
