Lots of experience in this store that can answer your questions. I called around looking for a part for hours one day and these guys were not only cheaper, they had the part in stock. I have not gone anywhere else for parts since that day, this is my go to store.

Very thankful for local and small businesses. I was able to come here today and get the exact kit that was advertised on Amazon. The main point is that it was exactly the same price. Amazon was going to make me wait 4 days even though Im a prime member. The staff here is great. Make sure you know your model number and your visit will only take minutes. Great experience here.

I would rate this small owned business a zero if I could, but you have to hit at least one star to post a review. I went there to get a rubber below boot and a wire ring for a front loader washer. I called out an appliance repair to install the items and after they took the washer front off they found more items that needed fixed. I decided not to fix them because it would be cheaper to buy a new washer. Within 7 days I called to see what their return policy was and he told me he already ordered the parts for restock and somebody should have looked at the washer before you bought the parts. They wouldnt let me return the items. I spent $258.38 for the two items and no return. Never again will I buy small business if this is their return policy!!!!

Awesome guy. I called to ask if he had a part for my dishwasher. I described my problem. He told me how to check the unit. I followed his instructions and was able to make repairs myself.I called and asked how I could pay him for his knowledge, which made all the difference. He said, “Don’t worry about it. I went in and was looking for a part for my dryer. I explained to them what I thought was happening and what my husband told me. It was the wrong part I had in my hand. So they were very honest and kind, they showed me the diagram of where the part goes and got me the correct part without over charging me. I had a part that was no where near the part I needed. Im thrilled that Akron has a business like this. I had a fridge that needed a replacement part that isnt carried in box stores like Home Depot or Ace Hardware. Fortunately, the sales associate at Ace Hardware recommended that I check here. Sure enough, they had the unique part that I needed at an affordable price. I also want to give a a high review to Akron Appliance Repair. Brian Rambler came out to diagnose a problem for me in an hour or less and the problem was resolved.

This place is a rip off ...they post return policy on wall and assume everyone can read the type but for some of us with impaired vision cant read that sign or even know it existed. then refuses to accept a return for an unopened item (motor). ... I would strongly suggest against trusting these people with your or my purchases in the future

Called them this morning and have a part on order. They are trying to cross reference a part to see if something in stock will work. After getting off the phone, I felt compelled to write a quick review.Great service and genuinely knowledgeable about repairs. In an online world, businesses like these folks are hard to find anymore. Oh and by the way, they are ALWAYS the best price so dont bother shopping around online. Example...Microwave 2 way switch...online they run 13-40 bucks...These folks...6 bucks.SHOP LOCAL!

The customer service needs some improvement at this establishment. Just because you are about to close when I call does not mean you should hang up the phone during our conversation without warning. I usually check with HAP for price and availability of parts I need when one of my appliances fails, but I consistently find the parts considerably cheaper on Amazon and delivered right to my door.

They wouldn’t rent me the tool I needed to install new bearings in my Maytag washer because I didn’t buy the bearings from them. They were going to charge me over $100 for bearing kit that I bought online for $36, and charge me $25 to rent the bearing tool that I will now buy for $38 online. They just lost a customer for life. Goodbye forever. Look online for parts and pay 1/3 what this place charges. Update- Bought the bearing tool from Amazon and picked it up the next day on Exchange St. not far from Home Appliance Parts for only $13 more than they wanted to rent the tool for. Still can’t believe they wouldnt rent it to me and make the $25 instead of $0. They only delayed me by 1 day and my Washer is working Great.

Dont even go there if you have any foreign products or they will look at you with disgust. Not very friendly. I am a person that likes to use local shops. But this is one that I would not recommend.

Youll be glad you did. Knowledgeable staff, impeccable customer service, home appliance parts, done right, nuff said.

Over the last year or two, they have unquestionably become less customer friendly. They dont help if they dont think they have your part, even if they might have it under another manufacturers name. They are abrupt now and their hours stink. Prices are usually okay, but return policy is not very good. Online places beat them in service and often price if you can wait a day or two for the part.

Now if you do, well the bottom line is, your a lamer & you had no idea what your doing. Most likely you should have had a the professionals doing the job in first place. I am the fixit kind of guy in my family. If you listen real closely & write down the simple instructions your on your way to saving big bucks!!! Dont blame this outfit if you failed in listening or reading the instructions. If your savvy, There are a ton of videos on you tube on most anything you might need to be fixed. Sometimes a friend can help or maybe not. The bottom line is, professionalism is key in anything we do. Especially here, they deal with allot of do it yourselfers here, and sometimes folks get a little frustrated.. This is how I see it, just maybe if you looked in the mirror lately, you just might see the problem..
