Our piercer, Alex (yes same name as me), was caring, funny, and helpful. Both me and my partner got different piercings and the experience was not only very clean and consistently sterilized, but it was fun too! I got a helix piercing and my partner got regular ear lobe piercings.The end result piercings look amazing. We were able to call and make an appointment same-day. Absolutely will be coming back for any future piercings!
Went and got my nipples pierced there last night. The piercer was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did a really good job. 10/10. Would 100% recommend anyone getting a piercing to consider going here. If I get another piercing I will definitely be going back here. Also, I really like the fact that they have real living plants in the waiting room.

I recently went to Lucid body piercing to get my nose pierced and they were great! Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they have quality jewelry available for all price ranges. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a great place to get something pierced.
My first piercing was at Lucid Body Piercing with Alex. I was super nervous to get my septum piercing. I had scheduled it once and then canceled and rescheduled more than once, just from nerves, and they were always patient with me every time I called. After finally deciding to go through with it, even though I was late, Alex was super nice about it. They made me feel really comfortable and calmed me down through the process, and although my septum is deviated they were able to make the piercing sit just right.I loved the experience so much that I decided to get both of my nostrils pierced by them today, and again I was super nervous, but they sat with me through the process and alleviated my concerns. My piercings turned out AMAZING and the selection that they have is gorgeous. I would never go to another piercing studio.

The shop was so clean and I absolutely loved the decor. The guy makes most of the jewelry there and was super thorough with went through step by step with you before and during the process. He knows what he is doing. Highly recommend, even if your first piercing, you wont be disappointed.
I would not personally recommend going here. A group of friend and myself went here before the shut down and 3 of the 5 of us had issues with the piercings themselves and I myself also had an issue with my jewelry as well.The owner doesn’t seem to have values with dealing with their employees either. And supporting a business ran by someone you feel is a good person to not only customers but employees as well, is so important.
I got my septum pierced back here in March, my second lobes done sometime earlier in the summer, and now my vertical labret today. Every single time I have felt cared for and put at ease. Michael and Alex both do AMAZING work and I’m happy that I chose this place as my piercing shop.

I got my septum pierced by Alex at the end of August, It was my first face piercing and i was very nervous, Alex was really welcoming and kind, it was all done so quick i barely had time to stress! I am unbelievably happy with the piercing, it was done so well and professionally, i will never go to another piercing shop! Everything was very clean and nice as well!

They pierced my septum today. I liked that they let me pick the jewelry out and showed me what would work best with my nose type. The piercing itself went in smoothly And the male piercer did an excellent job! It didn’t even hurt :) the jewelry is also high quality which I love. I’d recommend them to anyone.
I made an appointment to be seen at 12noon, a walk-in came in while I was waiting, they saw her BEFORE me because she needed a quick fix. So I was finally seen about an hour after my appt at 1pm. The piercer apologized for the wait but my piercing took the same amount of time as the walk-in so I feel like they should not have taken her before me. No discount offered, nothing. Other than that..its a clean place, the gems are a little pricey, theres one person piercing ...but I was happy with my look...but not the service.

Lucid Body is a clean and friendly environment I loved coming here I absolutely love the jewelry selection they have. Especially for the VCH piercing I got they made me feel comfortable and celebrated with me once the procedure was over and was happy with the finished product.
These guys really know what they are doing and make it easy to get pierced. I have never met someone more passionate about the craft. I have watched him make custom jewelry specific to the projects he has in mind. He has performed literally dozens of piercings on me through the years and is always quick to get back to me if I have questions about care. His products are top quality and so is his work. He spends his free time figuring out how to improve his craft. Could you really ask for a better piercer?

Another wonderful find in the Valley! I noticed the lowest star ratings were primarily about the cost; heres my 2 cents. Ive only really bought jewelry from Spencers/Hot Topic/Claires and Walmart. This was the 1st boutique type place Ive been to, but I came in with an open mind and a passion to support local business. They were nothing short of the PERFECT sales team! I called ahead to double check about Covid procedures. They said just a mask and appointment only but they were available for an hour and half. I ran over (from the laundromat) they showed no judgment when I told them my self piercing story (or by my sticker shock) and took interest in what I was looking for. They really helped guide me around the jewelry. The first piece they picked out for me looked waay better than what I had been thinking. I ended up buying a smaller piece, but will definitely be back to get that 1st one and more! Thank you for such a comfortable experience!!!
I have been here multiple times and Monica and Alex do such an amazing job, they are incredibly helpful picking out jewelry and answering all my questions. The shop is always clean and not to mention so cute. Depending on the jewelry you pick it can get a little pricy but that’s pretty much everywhere. I recommend Lucid to all my friends and to everyone that asks where I get my piercings done at. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You will not be disappointed going in there!

I just got my conch pierced literally 5 minutes ago and I needed to write a review because of how well they performed everything. The people at the front desk Monica and the owner Alex were very professional and they were very comforting. I was nervous about the piercing and they honestly made me forget all about it. The piercer Michael did a great job and walked me through all of the steps which also was comforting.They have a wide variety of jewelry and everything is beautiful. I would definitely recommend coming here!! I’ll be here for all my piercings from now on!
Alex is an A1, professional piercer. Hes very up front about the process, explaining thoroughly what hes doing. I got 4 ear piercings in one sitting, and he let me have a break whenever I needed. Everything was perfect, and healed beautifully. Also, unlike a lot of piercers, he uses top notch jewelry.
It was completely sterile, they were calm and patient. Told me how to take care of it.

TL;DR: Go to Lucid. Stop reading other reviews and go see Alex. He knows what he is doing and will make you feel at ease. Great selection of jewelry, not too expensive, great to work with. Go. Now.I was looking online to find someone to do a 3rd lobe piercing for me. I started out at Good Life in Highland Square. Lots of jewelry to choose from, but it was all so expensive. Then I traveled to LaRox over on Arlington. Didnt even go in after reading their reviews about piercings and seeing how sketchy the place looked on the outside. But I read that Poni is the queen of tattoos, so I might check her out later.This led me to sit in a church parking lot for half an hour making phone calls and trying to find a place that could do this, and wouldnt cost me an arm and a leg. I finally came upon Lucid, which just happens to be right down the street from my house and in the same plaza as my dentist! Called to let them know I was on my way and off I went.Alex and his girl are amazing. They were helpful in guiding me through the process of choosing earrings, showing me just about everything they had in their cases. They explained to me how todays earrings are no longer the huge butterfly backed ones that we used to get a Claires and Piercing Pagoda. They also told me that I could have any pair of earrings I currently have modified into the new type of backing, which really excited me, cause I hate being poked in the head while on the phone or laying down.Alex talked to me through every step of the process. There was never a point in the process where I did not know what was happening. It put me at ease to know what he was going to do and when. And he was very picky about the placement of my piercings, even pointing out that someone back in 1994 screwed up my one ear because of the angle of the piercing (it just makes it look weird and like the earring is going to fall out of my ear all the time).I left the shop knowing that I was well taken care of, that the person that did my piercings cared about them, and knowing I could go back if I had any problems or questions. If I need anymore piercings, I will be sure to go back to Lucid. They have a great selection of jewelry, arent overly expensive, and are very up front with you about everything. They are doing things right. :)

As someone who has never got a piercing before due to a fear of needles, my first was an 8 gauge and Alex was nothing but helpful. With choosing the jewelry, and piercing itself. He told me exactly what he was doing and what to expect. Not only was he very informative he was also very friendly and made me comfortable. This was my fourth piercing & I will never go amywhere else! Super clean, very professional & he took his time to get it perfect. This was my only piercing that did not get infected. Pay the extra money to get a good sterile piercing & high quality jewelry, its not worth cheaping out & getting an infection.

The owners are great! Not your typical piercing shop. It looks like a very clean, open, cooling environment. I felt like I was in good hands. Alex, the piercer, is very passionate about his work. I got a same day apointment to get my Nipples pierced, walk in and was greeted kindly, very friendly service and comfortable conversation, everything was sterilized very clean, washed hands twice and used gloves and wore mask, took his time to aline perfectly and make everything centered, let me know everything going on and very informational. I 100% recommend going for service, quality of pericing, cleanliness and functionality .

I got my lip pierced by Alex yesterday and it was an amazing experience, I messaged him to ask questions I had and he answered them quickly and kindly. Walking into the shop it was absolutely spotless and inviting! During the piercing he walked me through everything he was doing even to what products he was using to clean up and disinfect my lip. It was very quick, but I didnt feel rushed and even when I asked for the spot of my peircing to be moved he said if u want me to change the spot im willing to move it a million times as long as its where you want it to be. Ive never had a better experience getting pierced. I will definitly be coming here for any future piercings!
