We recently purchased a Matrix A50 Elliptical and R50 recumbent bike from G&G fitness. When we started the process my wife and I knew very little about training equipment and Scott and Chris were absolutely incredible in helping us make a totally informed decision that we could not be happier with! We must have visited the store 6-7 times prior to our purchase with dozens of questions and Scott and Chris were always open, honest, and filled with relevant information. Never once did we feel any pressure to purchase or that we were taking too much of their time. Both machines are incredibly solid, easy to use, and in just a few weeks we are both getting into serious shape. We now spend allot more time in our basement than in family room and cant wait to see and feel the results in months to come. I work in sales and can not say enough about the level of professionalism at G&G, we shopped around quite a bit and based on our experience the only thing I can say is you would have to be absolutely crazy to purchase your equipment at any other place than G&G!

Chris Shaw was very personable, knowledgeable, and so attentive to our needs and wants. He listened to what we wanted and gave us many choices. We had other questions and ideas on equipment we would like to have and Chris gave us great advice on the right way we needed to proceed for us to get the best that would help us in our fitness endeavors. We are looking so forward to getting our treadmill delivered and using our stretch bands that will complete our needs at this time. Exceptional. Describes my experience at my Akron, OH G & G Fitness Store. After 2 discouraging experiences at Dicks Sporting Goods (specifically dealing with their delivery company) I decided to visit my local G & G Fitness store as my search continued for a treadmill. I first met Scott - friendly, educated on equipment I was looking at, and offered much candid needed advice to which treadmill was best for my purpose/goal in fitness. I visited this store 3x in the course of 2 weeks before narrowing down my choices and visiting the competitors in Akron to compare. I also spoke with Chris briefly. Again, exceptional service. Because of this and other fitness goals, I decided to upgrade my purchase to a Life Fitness Treadmill. The BEST decision made to start off my 2015 year. Our pursuit of a new arc trainer brought us to the store this weekend. We had previously purchased a Life Fitness G7 from G&G, and are very pleased with it. Once we arrived we were greeted by Scott. He was very approachable and we never felt like he was trying to corner us into a purchase. We were very impressed by his product knowledge. As we went through the sales process he illustrated many features and benefits we weren’t aware of. After getting on the Matrix A50 we were strongly considering making the switch. Our next hurdle was budget. Scott worked hard with us to get the unit into our price range. We are very excited and can’t wait to receive the new unit.

We came in with very specific ideas about what we wanted and Scott was able to point us in the absolute right direction. He worked through our list of concerns with us and left us feeling great about our decision. Weve had our Matrix treadmill a month now and couldnt be happier with the purchase.

I purchased a Matrix A50 Ascent machine a few weeks ago. The machine is great. It is very quiet and extremely smooth motion. There are plenty of resistance levels It is the best elliptical I have ever used. I have had a couple of software glitches that were resolved by turning off/on the machine. I also purchased the passport system. It took a few weeks to get it. I had trouble setting the passport up until I figured out that the connecting cord was a piece of junk. After replacing the cord with an old Android phone charger that I had lying around at home, the system has worked great. I higher recommend the machine and the passport system. Had I not had to replace the cord, I would have given a 5 rating.

I recently bought an elliptical from G&G and had a great experience. When I stopped in, the salesman, Scott, spent a lot of time with me helping me understand the differences between all the models and giving me as much time as I needed trying them all out. I ended up choosing a floor model, which came with a significant discount, which was great. All in all, the whole experience was easy and got me exactly what I was looking for at a good price. Definitely beats trying to shop on the Internet!

The store manager, Chris, did a phenomenal job explaining the pros and cons of each machine in his store. My wife and I was not pressured at all into buying a piece of equipment. We bought an octane fitness elliptical and the machine was delivered as promised a week later with no issues. Talked with Scott Altier about purchasing a new treadmill. He was very personable, polite, and informative. There was no high pressure sales. We explained what we were looking for and he told us about the differences between a couple of models that would fit our needs and budget. We left to think about what we were comfortable with and returned to purchase our new treadmill. Again Scott was great to talk with and would highly recommend him.

I am a bigger guy and I havent had much luck using home treadmills. My wife really wanted workout equipment at the house so I had a lot of questions to ask to make sure we were going to actually like what we were getting. An employee named Chris was very helpful in answering those questions and helping me pick out a machine that worked out great for both of us. Overall great experience. We didnt feel pressured on purchasing anything and was given information and recommendations on products versus simply wanting us to buy the most expensive thing there.
