This is my 1st 1 star review. I used to shop here only because they carried Malibu compost and no other place carries compost in this area just worm casting. On my very first visit I went to pick up a bag of Malibu and it was busted open and spilled all over me, so I got two other bags. I came back a couple months later and they didnt have any more in stock but they still had that busted bag sitting there full of fungus gnats. I acquired if they would be getting more and they said no because it attracted bugs. Well thats what happens when you leave a fungus gnats food source open in the middle of your store its not the product its that your employees are not knowledgeable enough to remove it from the store( For over 2 months). On top of that they have a very small selection of products and the store looks more like the back of a stock room with products kinda piled on top of each other and not very organized. Id definitely shop else where.

Wow, amazing customer service! These folks have a lot of wisdom. Large variety and competitive prices. If you consider prices on Amazon and convenience this place has great rates and sometimes better.... I love this store !

Ive visited all of the hydroponics stores in the area and this one is by far the best. The owners know every product and will take you right to it. They explain everything. When I left I knew more than when I came in. Great people and well stocked store. I highly recommend them

Very well presented some of the best nutrients, lights filters etc etc they have just about everything you can ask for within reason some brands. But the service is better they’re ready to answer all your questions and point you in the right direction especially when you have an issue in your garden!!! Not to mention they’re the closest hydroponics store within quite a bit of miles lol. Fully recommended!!!

Great shop for gardening stuff.

I had a wonderful experience here. The people working were super helpful and kind. The prices are great for this stuff. I will certainly be coming back. Im happy I decided to stop here to do my shopping, its rare I actually purchase items in store.

Shopping experience was good but I believe they took advantage of my novice gardening knowledge. I needed a light and they sold me one that, I was told, would be good for a small space. I trusted their opinion. Its been a couple of weeks and I finally was able to put my indoor garden together and the light is a 250 watt light that doesnt work in a standard plug! A fellow gardener said there was no reason to have such a powerful light for such a small space. My boyfriend went back to the store to ask for an exchange. We didnt care about the price difference, we just wanted the light that would work in a standard plug . Nope. No exchanges. No help. No nothing. So if you want competent service in hydroponics and conning women into spending more than they need to, then this is your store. Never will I go back and Ill never recommend.

Best garden we ever had!!

Very nice place wonderful people that work there!! Kevin and Bill are very knowledgeable and very much a help for sure weather its in store or on the phone. Customer satisfaction and support are key areas to anything doing well and they both do a great job at it!! For instance I had a bulb problem they were closed on a Sunday due to them both having something suddenly come up their normally open Sundays every week, Been going there for a year or so and the only time they were closed was that day but Kevin was nice enough not only to answer my email almost rite away but was willing to drive quite a distance and it was family related which means more to me and should to others to make sure I had one if I needed one. Now thats loyalty and customer service!! Top Notch!!

Well I thought I was going to try this place out. I showed up at 6:30, they close at 7, and the doors were already locked, lights out, nobody answered the phone. Id recommend just going over to Akron Garden, they stay open until its closing time

Staff is very helpful but they dont compete with internet prices very well.

I found better prices after the sale and they were very willing to sell me a large ticket item that I found out later would not even work for my application. Almost a $600 mistake they got me for a $100 on a fan that I could have bought for half at summit hydro in kenmore

Nobody knows gardening better then these guys Ive never tasted better veggies in my life thanks to this store helping me learn and use their wonderful products and prices are great and people complain and say they found something cheaper online or somewhere else but you gotta understand the prices are decided by the companys and they are more then willing to negotiate with you so stop buying online and give ohio hydroponics your business they are very nice & helpful people :)
