He walked me through the entire repair process without being condescending, answered all my questions, and had my amp back to me in less time than was originally quoted. All of the repairs and upgrades functioned exactly as expected and were expertly built. Additionally, when a newly replaced tube unexpectedly blew a few weeks later (bad luck with a bum tube), he replaced it and did a quick tune up free of charge since it was part of the initial repair. He’s a great guy, to boot. Highest recommendation.

I have a Marshall JVM that was acting up. It was quickly diagnosed in my presence, and thoroughly explained to me. The amp was repaired, re-tubed and biased, and back in my hands in record time. Outstanding service. Had my OG Budda on his bench for about 35 minutes and had it dialed in just the way I wanted. Curran did a awesome job installing my Fishman Modern Fluence pickups and the battery pack in my Schecter Reaper guitar. He also did a set up on the guitar. It plays like a dream and sounds awesome!! Highly recommend CAM!!!

My Galliano Kruger CX-410 had some blown speakers, and he replaced them all with Eminence neodymium speakers. Its solid as a rock, 30lbs lighter, and sounds exactly how I want it to. Bumped it from 800 to 1,200 watts as well on his recommendation so it wont blow again. Very friendly and responsive too. Im just chuffed to bits! I will seriously recommend Custom Audio Mutation to everyone I know.

The owner of this company Curran is so knowledgeable and is such a likealikeable and charismatic business individual, that you can sit and talk with this cat for days! I went to his shop to have him look at my first dive into the endless possibilities of tones of TUBE amps! My first Tube amp, so excited got it on an excellent trade a PRS 2 Channel H 12 combo.When I got the amp it looked like the back was opened up before so, of course I open it up to see if maybe it was just a regular tube change for regular new tube maintenance. Im glad I did, wrong tubes and who knows if they were matched or even if something else is not quite right. Curran Sat me down and took the time to walk me through EVERY step he took and somewhat educated me on tube amps as much as I could possibly understand and retain as a truly beginner to all tube amps ( I played solid state all my life) as he gave my amp a full going over and new tube change to correct tubes. Needless to say Curran got the correct tubes in it checked EVERYTHING he possibly could on the amp to give it a clean bill of health. Then let me hang out for over an hour to burn the new tubes in an WOW what a way better sounding amp and now this amp Im sure will be a long time keeper and also be my 1st tube amp ever owned. Again I recommend Custom Audio Mutations for DEFINITELY all your amp work and more! The owner of this company Curran is definitely a Musicians, Musician so to speak! Excellent service!! When I took my amp in Curran took the time to disassemble it in front of me so I could see the areas that needed repair. He explained everything clearly and the repair work was top notch. The turnaround was reasonable and worked out exactly as planned. My Deville ended up needing a lot of work, however the price was more than fair. Very highly recommended.

Curran did an exemplary job of servicing and modifying my blackstar artisan 15. I came to him looking for the installation of a post phase inverter master volume, as well as a general tune up. He did the extra leg work by getting into the original schematic of the amp and was able to astutely recommend changes that resulted in a superior tone. The amp is screaming like it never has before! Not to mention that the ppiv master volume is functioning perfectly!Not only this, but the turn around time was very fast and communication was top notch! If you are in need of a tube amp technician, there is no one in the region I could recommend more highly.
