These guys were really good. Got a bottom paint and some little jobs done for a good price with no stress. They gave some good advice on a few things to do on my own as well.

Convenient yard in Alameda. Generally do good work, but watch out for them adding items that you didnt ask for.

Never trust any quote for service from this boat repair facility, the senior staff lacks virtue and seeks to take every advantage over the consumer. Too bad, cause the yard workers are very talented and customer oriented. If you deal here you will regret it, and your pockets will be picked.

We were not at all happy with Grand Marina. Grand may be fine for basic work like surveys and bottom paint but for more complex jobs like removing a keel they proved to be inept. They charged us for many man hours of labor that didnt need to be done and will cause us more time and money to put the boat back together. In addition they damaged the keel and refused to adjust their bill to compensate. Please steer clear of Grand for anything but rudimentary projects.

Shawn, the owner is terrific! Just did a haulout and a bunch of work on my 42 sailboat. Everything was done professionally and with competence. A great shop. Thumbs up.

Everyone at The Boat Yard were extremely helpful and very friendly. The estimate was fair and accurate, but the quality of work performed was excellent and on time (strip bottom paint and recoat, plus thru hull and zinc replacements). Very happy with the service and the end result. Much appreciated!

Getting work done hear is unreasonably expensive, the work they do definitely doesn’t match the cost though.

The staff was nice but the operations manager could not have been a bigger a**hole if you paid him to be!He denied conversations that were had on the phone to set up services, told us how much more important other customers were than us if they traveled further than we did, dropped the f-bomb numerous times while insulting us.We set up our boat hoist and mast step through weeks of multiple phone calls. The day of getting our boat in the water the head guy told us hed step the mast 5 days from then and we could just make the drive back down to the bay (8 hour round trip)Never....EVER...EVER... work with this A**HOLE!

Include this as your rest point after walk or biking. Nice! Like a hidden place and nice place to cool down your day

..30 feet c und c uber boat! Second bottom painting @ Grand Marina. Out of the water on schedule, pressure washed, barn-eck-uls humanly killed and pried off my bottom (the boat I mean), sanded, cracks filled, prop and shaft made to look new, cutless bearing inspected and probably many things that they did that I dont even know about. They ALL smiled and were happy for my business, the nice lady that is in the office patted my son Christopher on the head and told him he was handsome and probably very smart (Christopher is 30 hehe). I like them, they are honest and I feel trusting about their business. I dislike dealing with the Sven, I always feel dumber and poorer when I leave their shop. GM is smaller, knows my name, my dogs name and my 30 year old kids name! GM is a warm fuzzy pleasure where you can go and have your bottom cleaned!!! LUV UM ALL!. Ron
