After visiting the shop during posted business hours only to find that it was closed, I eventually called the shop to ask some questions about gear. More often than not no one answered the phone when I called, but once I finally got someone on the phone they werent able to answer questions about wetsuits they had in stock. They told me to stop in, but they were closed by the time I got there despite telling them Id be in at a specific time. I walked by this place randomly one day while it was open and popped in but no one was in the shop to assist me. Prices seem a bit high compared to other shops in the area and the selection doesnt seem amazing. I had a much better experience at Bamboo Reef in the city -- its a bit of a journey to get there but I was able to get exactly what I needed in less time.

The person who fills the air tanks here refuses to fill then to capacity as they should be. Charges 10 bucks and you are lucky to get 3/4 full. Just go to Vallejo Fire Extinguisher Services. They are faster and fill all the way to 4500 psi. The place has had a broken glass front door for a long time too and the hours published are wrong.

I called the place to ask some questions about price and selection. The owner said that he would rather i just come to the shop and take a look - he would explain everything to me and there would be no pressure to buy anything. I did go to the store and the staff was friendly and helpful at first, but then there was a lot of pressure to upsell and buy lots of gear. The prices seemed reasonable, but the selection was small and focused mostly on higher-end gear. The cheapest fins were $110.

Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this company. If you manage to go there when its actually open you will have nothing but trouble. We recently had a number of dive computers serviced by them. All of them leaked on the first dive, resulting in thousands of dollars of damage. They installed a number of high pressure quick releases. All of them leaked as no o-rings were installed. I asked if they had been checked, they insisted they had. They wouldnt let me pay by card only by cash and got very aggressive when I said this would be a problem. I always like to support local companies but if they behave this way they dont deserve the support!

Awful service. When I called to check on rental options, I was told I should just come to the shop. When I came to the shop, they were not open during posted hours. When I called again they acted as if this were not their problem. Really threw a wrench in my dive trip. I will not return, and I do not recommend this shop.

Horrible place. Service is horrible. I called over the phone asked about theyre tank filling and told them I would be on the way. I show up to find a note stating they will be back in 2 hours since I drove 30 minutes to get here I waited. Only to waste my time they never showed. During my wait another person showed up to fill a take and stated they do this all the time and left upset! I should of took the hint of all the poor ratings they have! Dont waste your time look for another place to go that wants your buisness!

Great store with great service and reasonable prices.

Im a divemaster and I came here to have one of my tanks visually inspected and filled. What I got back was an unseated valve (three or more threads showing) and the same blown out valve o ring that was on it when I brought it in. There was oxidization in the tank as well, he didnt inform me either because he didnt even look in the tank or he doesnt know what oxidization is. The kook then dry filled the tank and slapped his sticker on the side, charged me 15 bucks. The tank slowly leaked from the valve o ring and when I got to my dive site I had no air, as well as showing threads. Called him about it and he denied and said I was complaining. So basically I either paid for a sticker and this guy has no clue what hes doing. Or hes not properly inspecting tanks and just taking peoples money and sending them out with questionable equipment. Bad form, and for a place that calls themselves AAA...more like FFFF SCUBA!

Awesome store staff is very nice and helpful.

This is a small mom-and-pop shop and I try to support these types of businesses in our local community.

Seem out of it.
