Went into this location to look for action figures. i was greeted promptly by a polite and helpful young woman. explained what i was looking for and was shown were to look. after making the rounds around the store, she checked in on me again. was very polite and helpful. i didnt find what i was looking for, however i was very pleased with all the things i did find. also this store was amazing. well stocked, clean and very organized in a way that made sense. not all stores are. i previously have been an manager for gamestop for 5 years and have been to many stores in many states and this is by far the best one i have encountered. whatever you are doing by all means keep it up. loved my experience here and hope to shop here again.

I was only in the store a few moments and the staff greeted me and asked what i needed then promptly told me they did not have what i was looking for even tho it says they do online. They also had many games on the shelfs that they did not actualy have for sell so other then false advertizment even in store the experence was fast and purchaseless its been that way for the last 5 times i went there gamestop you suck

Amazing staff! Sad to see one of my favorites go. Always welcoming and helpful in finding the best upcoming items whether it be POP! Figures or new games. I’m glad to see they’ll still be keeping my other favorites employees around though. Unfortunate they don’t have much stock right now but that’s how ‘rona be.

Lily is literally the best person in that store. She is so helpful every time I go there and is always kind and sweet. I would definitely recommend coming to this store for all your gamer needs!

GameStop in general is a rip-off. First off, the staff is rude and full of attitude. For example, I had asked to hold a particular game that was preowned and a gold limited edition for me since I live far from Alamo. The next day, they gave me a broken case and the regular edition of the game and denied they had the gold edition in the first place. This wasn’t a big deal since I at least got the regular game but this is something that they will do.Secondly, GameStop’s trade deals in are worthless. You only get so little back despite the actually value, and the only way to get a little more is by store credit.I suggest you go to Walmart across the street. You find good deals for brand new games with friendly staff.

The customer service in this store IS TERRIBLE, just as so many people have mentioned, but I bring another point up. Before buying anything at this store, walk over to Wal Mart and check there. Many times I have found BRAND NEW games for LESS than USED copies at game stop. That and the fact that they totally rip you off when you sell them games...

Overall my experiences have been average. Management has always been nice through several changes. Workers are helpful most of the time. Had a few issues, one where i contacted corporate, was promptly contacted by local management who apologized personally. I appreciate that sort of thing.

These guys are super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Great place to get games and stuff!

While we were at GameStop, the people were very stingy and rude. We bought a gold edition game and had them hold it in their storage, but they switched out the games for the normal version! They didn’t even try to really help us. I hope the services of GameStop will improve in the future.

I found the perfect things to buy my brothers birthday present

This Gamestop smells like moldy cheese and a buttery garlic spread on a piece of Texas toast. I was looking for a Funko Pop, but did not find one I liked. The salesman tried to sell me video games when I was obviously looking at Pokemon cards. I will definitely be returning!

While I adore Alamogordos humble GameStop, I did have one marginally negative experience with the staff.However, on a day-to-day basis, the store is clean, well-stocked and organized, and the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and kind.

I’m pretty sure the manager wanted to argue over everything I thought about buying. I came in to buy a ps4 and ended up leaving. The younger guy potentially in high school would be a better manager

I live two states away and tried to buy my nephew a birthday present he could pick up. First the website would not let me put it in the shopping cart and pay for it. So I called the store and the employee was no help and unconcerned if I spent money with his store or not. Even Wal-Mart has better service than here.

As far as a good game sorce for this town goes, gamestop is now all that is left since Hastings closed down.Staff are super knowledgeable about games and movies, and alot of the sales are really good.
