Didnt buy anything today but, the sales staff was amazing! We asked about checking the prongs holding the diamond in my wifes ring. TJ said she could do it and she showed us the ring under a microscope checked it then cleaned it, answered a lot of questions didnt charge us anything! Told us to come back anytime. Wonderful!

Pretty Jewelery. The staff were as rude as they come, i was in there looking for a necklace or a watch or something for my husbands birthday and they were good until i told them i was on a budget and she asked me then shy are you looking at Jewelery..... And my budget wasnt low either... It just wasnt the $2000 necklace she suggested. So i left. And i wont be back. And when someone tells me their looking for jewlery, i tell them not to bother with Zales.

My husband bought my ring over a year ago. The original paperwork was lost in the move from CA to Alamogordo which when I brought in my ring for cleaning they got me new paper work and said it was ok. Today I came in to get my ring cleaned and was told the warranty was going to be voided because I hadnt kept up on the check ins in a year. I explained the paper work had been lost and it had been cleaned in the past year. She maintained that it was still going to be voided. Which if Id been informed I of that I would have taken care of. Rude customer service wish my husband had tone somewhere else.

I had bought my wedding ring at a store in new york it was gorgeous. the emerald was loose so took it zales to pay them to tighten the prongs. i got a call 3 weeks later saying my emerald and a garnet and a diamond all needed to be replaced, which i know was not true from when i brought it in. i told them to return my ring and when i went in to pick it up everyhting was fine but one of my garnets was cracked in half, the girl who had helped me saw it and vouche that it was not like that before so she said they would fix it at no cost.being the moron i am i said ok.when i got my ring back both of my garnets which were dark dark red had been replaced with these light orange garnets, and my emerald was still very very loose. the ring looks so different and 2 years later i am now getting someone else to replace them with the right garnets. this was 2 years ago and now i have new problems with this store my husband bought me a pendant when we were dating. when he bought it the guy said it didnt come with a chain so my husband bought a chain to go with it, when he went to pick it up it was a different employee who said it does come with a chain so he had bought one without needing to which he was ok with because he liked that chain better anyway. 2 years after that my chain he bought broke and i put the reciept with it but it got lost in a purse of mine so its long gone now. now 1 week ago the chain that came with it broke and a grabbed the reciept and went to the store and the girl says the reciept i have is for the chain he bought but since i lost it there is nothing that can be done about that one, so she looked up the receipt for the pendant and chain that came with it in there program, and she says it shows my husband didnt get insurance on these but did on the chain he bought. my husband bought insurance on my pendant. but she said since it shows there is no insurance on it that she can fix the chain he bought and i told her again that i had lost it so no i cant get it fixed. SO HERE I AM A BROKEN RING WITH WRONG STONES REPLACED AND A LOST AND BROKEN CHAIN AND A ANOTHER BROKEN CHAIN WITH A PENDANT I CANT WEAR. the lady who helped me with my ring 2 years ago was so nice i wish she still worked there. this lady today short blonde hair was so rude and didnt care and talked to me and the other lady with me like we were stupid for bothering her. i am a very patient person and spoke nice to her and i wish i had yelled at this point because i have 3 broken pieces of jewelry a store who wolnt do anything about anything

Zales in Alamogordo, NM has Been a great store!

More than once we have had to get something fixed (tells you how well their stuff is made). They have either broken further what needed to be fixed or claimed it was not covered or in their system even though we had a receipt to prove it. The representative was rude. I would go to wal-mart or the dollar store before going to Zales
