Very nice quality lenses they have Nikon and Zeiss. Prices are the best in Alamosa and the quality is so much better than online. I have both sunglasses and regularly glasses from them. I have used their awesome warranty in the past and they were very easy to deal with. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have even used my own frames and just had new lenses put in them.

I wanted a pair of sunglasses but my prescription was expired. The doctor was able to get me in right away and he was very nice. Lisa helped with ordering my glasses and was very knowledgeable and nice. I see so well out of my new sunglasses that now I need to order some everyday glasses!

Ive always received good care here, but the new Dr is very caring, patient and careful, taking the time to get my prescription just right. Im so pleased we finally have a great eye doctor once again.

Ive been going there for years, with two different doctors. No one has been rude to me, and the wait seems about normal for doctors. I buy my glasses and contacts online so I dont have any issue with that. Its hard to get an appointment now as the Dr. isnt in very often, and he doesnt give complimentary contact solution packs like most eye docs do, but all in all, the docs and the staff are courteous and seem to know what theyre doing.

It was crappy they took me back and hour after my schedule appointment and I was the first schedule appointment of the day. Then the doctor was rude. Im sorry my time is just as important as yours and I wont be going back to you thats for sure.

I thought my eyes were the problem, but then I found 6 months later that Walmarts lens lab cut the prescription off too short. Another optometrist measured the lenses and I have about 6-8mm of reading magnification at the bottom of the lenses - thats about 3 lines of the book youre trying to read. I thought my eyes were the problem! When I took the glasses in to show them to the Walmart Vision staff, they told me I was past the 60 day warranty... and then went on to explain that it was actually my fault for picking out frames that had short lenses... Even though I pointed out that they never mentioned the 60 day warranty or advised me that the lenses might be a little short for using as reading (what I was getting the glasses for in the first place), they just said, sorry - we can give you a discount on a new pair of glasses... And then to top it off, the Cruzal scratch protection I paid extra for that has a 1 year warranty... theyre scratched: Oh, well that warranty is for manufacturer defects. You scratched them. We cant fix that. Walmart operates their enterprise as though individuals do not matter... there are plenty more people who will come in and buy from us because of our low prices. So, when you called today to schedule my annual eye exam, and I took the time to tell you how I feel like you gave me the shaft... all you said was: Ok... well, sorry and have a nice day. You seem to have no interest in addressing my grievance with the quality of your service. Its not even you guys that screwed me over - your lab made the mistake. But it seems to me there is so much pressure from above you on the corporate flagpole that you didnt even suggest youd try to get someone above you to address my situation. So Im airing this dirty underwear youve sold me on the public flagpole. Your attitude seems to be My way or the Highway to your suppliers (so Im told) as well as your customers. There are plenty of local, independent eye care centers who hope to earn our business. My advice to anyone looking for vision services: avoid this vision center San Luis Valley - they cant see our forest for their trees.

The dr. was very rude. Made negative comments about the locals, was cursing under his breath, he even dilated my pupils and didnt provide me with any eye protection when I left! Very terrible office.
