The place was really busy when I walked in. I was looking to buy a lower receiver.My thoughts after leaving. Great place. Honest employees. Affordable transfer fee and pricing. I also bought a AR build kit too. Really satisfied with the experience!! My new go to store!! Keep up the good work guys!

I have been here a couple dozen times. Sometimes just to window shop, sometimes to buy stuff. I recently purchased another stripped lower. They have the new PSA M-4 Clones. Being a 20 year veteran of the military this new stripped lower made me proud. The staff is always helpful and professional. At times they are a bit overwhelmed and their inventory is low. But I believe that is just the nature of the beast these days. Every store including online huge retailers are low on inventory. All in all they are one of the better shops in the area. You can count on them to be honest with you, which for me anyway counts the most. I will be a return customer.

The main sales guy Jordan is absolutely so helpful. He is almost the only one working most days, or so it seems every time Ive come in. He handles mass amounts of people so calmly and pleasantly. He is very knowledgeable and will take time to answer any questions you have. With the covid situation going on and the mass amounts of people coming and going in the store, he does a wonderful job prioritizing the people who are ready to check out and who have questions. I will always go here for any gun needs, or call him specifically for any questions I may have!!!!!

I couldnt have been more please with them... i used them as my FFL and they were happy to do it. most places make ya feel like they are bending over backwards or youre a bother to them if you ask them to receive something in for you. i would highly recommend these guys, very down to earth and very helpful.

Lots of positive things to say! First off the owner Matt allowed me to bombard him with questions during off hours. I had infinite questions about stock, pricing, ammo, different uses for different things, even what colors were available for which things (Very female of me to care about aesthetics, but whatever, don’t judge me.). I promise you, it had to be very annoying, yet he was nothing but friendly and informative all thru out. Not even the slightest hint of annoyance! Definitely a better person than I! Very very impressive! When I finally visited in person, I was met by his brother Jordan and another gentleman (embarrassed I forgot to ask his name). Both were equally as informative and friendly as Matt was! They have anything and everything you need despite the fact that everyone is running out and making purchases right now, understandably, with what is going on in our country. They are keeping up the demand for various guns, ammo, cases (hard and soft), cleaning kits and basically anything else you might dream up. If you do come up with a rare request, I’m sure they’d order it for you, so you’re covered! They have a private lot, so no parking on the street. If you are concerned about the plague, the gentlemen there were sporting masks, the customers were sporting masks, and the store capacity is temporarily being limited. Credit cards or cash, either is cool. The shop is clean and organized, if want to ask a thousand questions they got you covered, and if you’re more experienced and just wanna grab and go, they won’t try and up sell or anything. These are the guys you want! They’ll be getting my families business and some of my friends as well. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Normally I take pictures of places I want to review but there are already plenty on most platforms, so peruse those as well.Stay safe out there everyone! :)

So I’d like to start out by saying I don’t normally write reviews. It’s a tough thing for me because I struggle with expectation to product relay, meaning I want a cubic zirconia to be a diamond. I have been a customer for quite a wile. I have dealt with Jordan and Matt. I have bought hundreds of rounds and a rifle or two and random accessories. Not only have I received upfront expert service, I have also received personal recommendations on products to help ease anxious uncertainties. Jordan and Matt in my opinion have been nothing short of upstanding in my very high opinion. There products are beyond reproach and I will not go anywhere else for my Future purchases. Also I would like to add that they also are incredibly easy to converse with. If there is an issue they resolve it immediately. To all future buyers looking for a reliable, sustainable business to supply your hobby, profession and livelihood i personally recommend NY shooter supply and the family that runs it.

Called all over trying to find Glock17 a few months back. No one had one beside them. Staff was super helpful even tho I came in around close. They stayed late to get it done.

Prices are a little more than some of their competitors or online but service was great. They also carried a lot of hard to find ammo for historical milsurp firearms. The store also looks like Ammunation from GTA 5 so thats a big perk

Had a decent stock considering the times and the staff was friendly

On 28 December 2019 I stopped in to purchase 6 boxes of ammo so that I could take my son to the range. The salesman was friendly and helpful however, when i picked my son up and went to the range I discovered that the first box of ammo that I opened was missing 9 rounds from the middle of the box. Lesson learned, check before you pay.

Very professional shop, I damaged my ruger 10/22, and they managed to get all the scapes and scratches off my barrel. Service was only $20 and shop owner was chatting with me for over 15 minutes about pistol carbines.Case and point, I personally felt very welcomed and was treated with respect, despite being a novice.Keep up the great work!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good selection of new and used rifles and handguns. Lots of hunting accessories, cleaning kits, reloading equipment, clips, slings and full line of ammo, muzzeling loading, bore butter, 209 primers and saboths.My husband loves this shop! Fair pricing and great customer service.

Went there today about 10:15 to transfer some long guns and as soon i was walked in the person rudely said can I help you and gave me a dirty look and said I can’t have a shotgun with a pistol grip you have to be 21 which is not true at all so I went to another gun store after and was able to transfer the Long guns never again will I bring my business here, i don’t know how you have employees working there if they don’t know the law. That’s fine with me went somewhere else with much better customer service. I don’t recommend this place to anyone

Went in today to make a purchase definitely a great warm atmosphere. Nice selection of handguns to pick from also. Unfortunately what I wanted was out of stock but they were able to order it for me. Thats no fault of their own due to such a high demand almost eveyone was out of stock.. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and future shoppers! I would like to give a special thank you to Jordan for all the help and excellent display of customer service!

Purchased two, one-hundred count bags of 5.56. One bag had only 91 rounds and the other only 95. Very unprofessional, rather a accident or not.

Had a decent selection of stuff. However, one sales person behind the counter asked me the minute I walked in the door what I was looking for. I responded that I was there to look around and see what they had (I was hoping to see a RIA pistol). Then he proceeded to watch me like a hawk the entire time like I was about to do something wrong. I left and found a very welcoming gun shop just down the road. I have no plans to return but will go back to the other shop.

The service was outstanding. The gentleman working there was very friendly, helpful, and professional. They had a wide array of handguns, rifles, and shotguns at many price points. I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase anything firearm related to go to NY Shooter Supply.

I have shopped a lot of gun stores in my 65 years, and NY Shooter Supply has just about anything that you could possibly need or want. Ive been out of circulation for a while, but Im going on an early CHRISTMAS shopping trip next week for myself!!! Jordan did me a huge favor by ordering some vintage ammo for my 1943Springfield Armory M1- Garand, 30-06 150 gr. Ball ammo pre-loaded in the en-bloc clips right out of a freshly opened ammo can, and the price was surprisingly lower than I had expected. This place is great, just drop in and check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Called them over the weekend talked to a guy who couldnt have been more helpful. Called again today got some pissed off snotty guy who couldnt get me off the phone quick enough. Good thing they arent the only gun shop in town. Ill be giving my money to someone more polite.

Jordan was great! I bought a rifle from a guy on craigslist and he did the transfer for me. While i was there i ended up getting some upgrades and a bunch of ammo. The price was fair, the selection was good but what was even better was the atmosphere and the guys attitudes that were working. They were pleasant, informational and accomidating, this place is ALL american!

Was doing business with them And referred people that they were rude to will no longer Refer anybody to them
