Waiting area is not high class, but it provided the essentials- chairs, restroom, coffee, water. Its right next to a Sunoco gas station, which has a convenience store. Staff was nice. Parking for Safelite available.

I went there the other day to have my windshield replaced from a rock that left a big crack. When I arrived, the person at the desk was very friendly and helpful, gave me information about local shops, and spoke kindly. Their waiting area included TV and a coffee area which was convenient. I dont even remember if I waited the full hour, it went by quickly ( even without the TV on haha). If I need work done again for whatever reason I will keep them in mind.

Absolute joke of a company. They give five hour time windows, and I made the simple request of calling me when theyre on their way. This clown calls me when hes leaving my house while Im 5 minutes away saying hes too busy to stay and wait. Im calling Geico right now and will have the windshield repaired by anyone else except Safelite. No wonder many insurance companies use Safelite, they hire monkeys and pay them with peanuts so that they can give the best rates to insurance companies.

Had my windshield replaced after a chip became a smile across the glass. I arrived on time and was welcomed and told it wouldnt take too long and he was correct!The registration and inspection stickers dont even show signs that they were transferred to a new windshield.As I made mention that I was going to have to get another Army star for it, one of the gentlemen gave me a Safelite challenge coin and thanked me for my service...ABSOLUTE class! Safelite broke my dowel that holds my windshield. They say I am responsible for replacing the dowel.. Hmmm I didnt break it but Im responsible. I am not a safelite lover.

I went there yesterday for my Dodge windshield. Fast and professional service. The guy who replaced my windshield was nice, welcoming, and informative.

Have a windshield that needs to be replaced and they have a technician call out the day of the appointment and want me to reschedule for a week later. This is unacceptable I get people get sick but to have to wait a full week with an almost 12 inch crack because it took a week for me to get this appointment is ridiculous. Luckily my insurance is paying for it but in the future I will be looking to someone who can fix a time sensitive issue in a timely manner.

Safelite did a wonderful job on our vehicle. You can barely see where the windshield chip was. We are very happy with the outcome!

Honestly they were in a position to absolutely take advantage of me. I thought I needed to get my window replaced but it actually turned out to be a simple fix. The guy in the office was helpful and considerate and he didnt condescend to me at all, even though Im a tiny little girl who know literally nothing about cars. Would go to them again if I ever need to.

Twice they have been out to replace my windshield and have arrived with the wrong glass. Now as I am waiting on my THIRD appointment they are telling me I have NO appointment! They sent me a confirmation text yesterday for 8am with a link to view your appointment which states I have no appointment set for today! Now I sit on hold and wait. Meanwhile I have been driving with a cracked windshield for a week. Terrible service.

Patrick was great! The estimate was 1.5 hours and he was done in less than 1 hour. He very carefully transferred the inspection, registration, oil change stickers to the new windshield, plus the ezpass and rearview mirror. Looks great! Recommended! :-)

Third time is definitely not the charm. They keep ordering the wrong windshield for my car. They have the VIN and yet they dont use that information to make sure they get the correct item. I have wasted HOURS and still have a huge crack in my windshield.

Safelite came to do 2 of my cars 1 car took over a month to get widsheild put in after several excuses and appointmens and allan from their platsburg office has a major attitude problem and needs to be romoved as manager

Got the job done, quicker than expected. Seems to be quality work as usual from Safelite. That’s what counts right? 4 stars Bc They appeared disorganized. Got call ready to pick up, I arrived 2 hours later and no employee present in the lobby area for about 5 minutes. Employee comes out asking if I had my keys? I said no I was trying to pick up and hadn’t been seen by anyone yet. Gentleman tells me key would be left in my car (so that means they leave them unlocked parked right next to a gas station and no employee watching the vehicle?). It wasn’t, said it should be in visor or under the rug, neither place. Then the guy found my key inside and I was handed key but no paperwork or receipt. Was setting my gps to leave and was asked if I could stay and wait for an employee to return from his lunch (soon) Bc they hadn’t completed the paperwork for my receipt. Explained I couldn’t stay and got receipt emailed to me.

Replaced my windshield. Did a great job

On June 24th we scheduled a windshield replacement at our home for July 2nd . July 2nd rolled around and Safelite was a no show. They called at 4pm to reschedule for July 8th. This screwed up our inspection appointment for July 3rd.. Safelite never intended to come to our house on July 2nd. I dont believe they had the windshield. A call to their shop and I got the BS, we strive for customer satisfaction.. oh yeah, right... Never mind the fact we had to miss a day of work, offered to bring the car to their shop and I would have to take another day off on July 8th.. Guess who isnt doing my windshield on July 8th. ..I cannot recommend this business and I cannot see why our insurance company deals with them.

They told me that something on my back window frame had to be fixed before they could put my back window in but they where just being lazy because I went to safelite in Latham and they fixed my window with no problem, I knew nothing needed to be fixed that’s why I didn’t bother to go have it looked at

Somebody smashed my front passenger window and i have to pay out of my pocket coz it is below my deductible and this guys are awesome! they gave discount to ease up my cash payment..most of all scheduling the service online was really easy and their servive is excellent !

Recently and accident resulted in my entire windshield being shattered. This happened under a new insurance policy that was only 1 week old. Upon contacting my insurance company to make my claim I was informed that i had a large deductible for my glass that I had intended on not having when I signed up.I was very upset but needed my window fixed. From the moment I contacted a person at SafeLite on the phone to schedule an appointment through until when the live person fixing my window gave me my keys back i was made to feel like I was welcome, important, and valued. During a time in which my insurance company made me feel the opposite of these things this was crucial in getting me through my day.Not to mention the glass and its installation is immaculate and nicer than the rest of my car :-) including all details down to how perfectly placed the registration and inspection stickers are.
