Scott (Sauls Cylinder Head) performed a cylinder head job on my 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser 2F engine. Wonderful guy/business to deal with. I called Scott to drop off the cylinder head to him and he was willing to meet me in town on an off day. He gave me an honest estimate of the turn around time based off his staffing at the time and an honest estimate of labor plus parts. The turn around time and the price quote were accurate. Scott called me back about 2 and 1/2 weeks notifying me that the head was complete. When I picked up the head, Scott gave me a complete history of the work performed as well as any problem areas they found and repaired. I appreciate his honesty on the completion time. Scott is not a shop that is going to give you a return date based off what you want to hear . They perform fantastic work, very reasonable prices, and are well worth the wait for completion. 1st off lets just say they have the tools, skills and machines to do the job correctly.This was my 1st time using them because all other shops was backed up. And thy did a GREAT..! job on My block, heads, intake, oil pan, timing cover, crank, pistion and rods.Thy cleaned everything very well and tested and block and heads and did valve job.But the down fall was it took a while do to shop be overwhelmed and short handed.But other than that they are a great group of guys at shop and i will definitely use them again and recommend them.

These guys do excellent work! I have had them redo heads off and on over the years, Id take them no where else.

The service is not up to standard. Took some heads in to get cleaned. But because I didnt want them tested or anything else they didnt do a full cleaning. And charged the full cleaning price. Very unprofessional.
