I went to this shop on the recommendation of a former salesman who sold to all the area’s automotive repair shops. He said Karner was solid. I’ve been bringing cars there for a few years now with only positive experiences. For example, I had a car with a leaking and noisy power steering pump...rather than replace it, they fixed the leak and flushed out the fluid. Saved me the cost of a replacement and it was fine the day I traded it, 3 years later. I’m dropping my truck off for brakes today. I was checking the hours online and decided they deserved a good recommendation while I was here.

Fair prices, family owned, and trustworthy. Other places may try to up-sell you on unnecessary work and tack on extra labor costs, but these guys do not!

This is a competent, honest, family-owned local business. The prices are affordable and fair. For a more expensive repair, Mr. Bushnell (the owner) did his best to comparison shop to source the best-value part for me. He gives honest opinions as to whether or not a particular repair is needed, and does not seem to prescribe unnecessary work.Dont let the appearance fool you—theyre solid mechanics who know their stuff. I trust them with my late-model luxury car.In terms of timing, youll have the best luck by dropping your ride off early in the morning (8 AM or so) and picking it up at the end of the day.

It cost less to have Karner Auto replaced all 4 pads/rotors and change the oil and filter then it would have been for me to buy the parts and do it myself. Great work and honest people.
